Charming 1930's era farm house style home beautifully decorated with private garden patio for relaxing. Great location for exploring the local wine community.
Awesome cottage in the Eola-Amity AVA. If you’re visiting the area’s family owned wineries consider this place. The cottage is comfortable, and fully stocked with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended A.
This was the cutest cottage and we enjoyed staying here. The garden in back was amazing and I really wished we had more time to enjoy it. There is a firepit to enjoy and hanging lights throughout the backyard. The main bedroom was very comfortable. The bathroom though tiny was supplied with shampoo and conditioner. We did not use the upstairs room. The living room and front dining room were huge and quite lovely if you wanted to have friends to spend the evening with. We had dinner every night in McMinnville which was less than 15 minutes away. Wineries were within 30 minutes of the cottage. Highly recommend!
Cute little cottage in wine country. We enjoyed the different spaces both indoor and out. Cottage had everything we needed and the complimentary wine was a great touch.
Owner did a wondaful job with Home, very comfortable. Good for up to four people. Rosemary was kind enough to leave all kinds of treats, wine and coffee on the house. It was a very pleasant surprise. The back yard is like sitting in a mini winery (Beautiful). The only down fall might be the claw foot tub in bathroom. If you're up in years, it's a bit difficult to get in and out of. I think it would be a great idea for owner to change that ASAP. Overall and wonderful experience.
The Wine Cottage was perfectly decorated... better than the pictures. The backyard was a wonderful garden area where we spent every evening... so many beautiful and colorful plants! And the desk with all the local bargains (2 for 1 wine tastings, etc) was a great idea. They thought of everything.
Beautiful property, has everything you need and more! Even grape vines for you DYIers! Owners very helpful and prompt with answers to questions. Bonus-complimentary chocolate and bottle of wine! Only down side we had was the tub/shower. Very tall sides to climb into, and nothing to hold onto. I understand the ambiance, but for shorter or older folks it can be an issue. We will probably be back anyway!!
Very pretty little cottage in a village in wine country. Cheaper than some of the bigger towns nearby and plenty close to so many wineries. Comfortable couch, well fitted kitchen, soft beds all with lots of extras make this a home away from home. Highly recommend.
This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this property. We were in town for Oregon 70.3. While it isn't in Salem it is close enough to the race site to be convenient while far enough to be out of the drama. This is probably the best stocked property we have ever stayed in. It seems to lack for nothing. The back yard is spectacular. Coming from Colorado there are all kinds of planta that we can't grow and that help to make it special.
We loved staying at Rosemary and Steven's home.. This is our second time staying here and it couldn't be cuter with the beautiful decor, lovely bedding and amazing picturesque backyard Thank you for the bottle of wine and the chocolate we will definitely be back again
The house is beautifully decorated and has everything one could need. We stayed over Thanksgiving and were able to make a full Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen and had everything we needed. The back garden is lovely. Overall it was very cosy and just great. Thank you.
Place was very cute and cozy. It was great to have lots of room downstairs for socializing. The property management was great with communication. The only "issues" was we didn't realize how low the ceiling was in the upstairs bedroom. It's probably great for young children. However adults should be careful when standing. We had one guest hit their head in the middle of the night. Also, the property states there is a Continental breakfast available. It was just some granola bars, and that was it. I wouldn't call that a Continental breakfast. Otherwise it was nice and area was quiet.
Lovely place - the back garden is magical. We enjoyed hanging out back there at the end of the day. These folks have quite the green thumb! The wine they provided as a gift was delicious!
We had a delightful stay at this charming cottage. The owners thought of everything you might need for a comfortable stay! Situated in close proximity to hundreds of wineries. Discount coupons provided by owners. Back yard is a garden of delights. Perfect to sip wine and relax.
