The Cottage on College Near Downtown Brandon

Welcome to The Cottage on College, a cozy, private guesthouse featuring a charming mix of vintage and industrial décor. Located behind our home in Brandon’s Historic District, the cottage provides a peaceful setting with a private entrance, dedicated parking and convenient access to Downtown Brandon.

This approximately 690-square-foot cottage comfortably accommodates up to four guests. It’s a great choice for couples, small families, concertgoers, tournament families, traveling professionals and guests needing a comfortable place for a longer stay.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

The cottage has one private bedroom with a queen bed. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room provides an additional sleeping arrangement for up to two guests.

Please note that the sleeper sofa is located in the shared living area and is not a second bedroom.

KITCHEN AND LIVING AREA

The full kitchen provides the essentials needed to prepare and enjoy meals during your stay. Bar-top seating accommodates up to four guests.

The living room includes comfortable seating, Wi-Fi and a 50-inch TV with streaming capability. Coffee, bottled water and a simple welcome snack are provided to help you settle in.

BATHROOM AND LAUNDRY

The spacious bathroom features double vanities and a walk-in shower with a convenient shaving ledge. Fresh towels, bed linens and basic bath essentials are provided.

An in-unit washer and dryer make the cottage especially convenient for tournament guests, work trips and extended stays.

LOCATION

The Cottage on College is located in Brandon’s Historic District, less than half a mile from Downtown Brandon’s shops, restaurants and everyday conveniences.

• Shiloh Park: 2 minutes
• Quarry Park: 6 minutes
• Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport: 13 minutes

Whether you’re attending a concert, participating in a ball tournament, traveling for work or planning a quiet weekend away, the cottage offers a convenient place to relax between activities.

GUEST ACCESS AND PARKING

Guests have private access to the entire cottage and its outdoor seating area. A dedicated parking space is located directly in front of the cottage’s double doors.

The cottage sits behind the main residence and is reached by following the driveway around the house. Detailed parking, arrival and self-check-in instructions will be provided before your stay.

HOST INTERACTION

We respect our guests’ privacy and want you to enjoy the cottage at your own pace. Because our home is nearby, we’re readily available if you have a question or need assistance.

We may say hello if our paths cross, but otherwise, the cottage and its outdoor seating area are yours to enjoy.

PET-FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATIONS

We’re proudly pet-friendly and happy to welcome up to two dogs or cats. We simply ask that pets stay off the bedding and that guests clean up after them.

Please include your pets when making the reservation so we can prepare properly for their stay.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The bedroom is two steps down from the main living area, and the bathroom is one step up. Guests with mobility concerns should consider whether these interior steps will meet their needs before booking.

The cottage is a separate guesthouse behind our home. You’ll have your own entrance, dedicated parking and completely private indoor accommodations, but you may occasionally see us around the property.

• Checkout by 11:00 a.m.
• No parties or events
• No smoking or vaping
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Maximum of two dogs or cats
• Pets must remain off the bedding
• Guests must clean up after their pets
