vacation rental cleaning protocol
Major surfaces are sanitized and disinfected.  Major surfaces include countertops, kitchen and laundry appliances, table surfaces, bath fixtures, faucets, mirrors, door knobs, light switches, interior railings, remote controls, fireplace tools, etc.

Carpets and floors are vacuumed.  Hardwood and tile floors are mopped with appropriate cleaners.

Kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are refreshed with clean linens.


2000 Sq ft. duplex, (first and second floors), three bedrooms, two full baths, laundry room, fireplace, hardwood floors, full kitchen w/granite counter tops and adjacent dining area, dishwasher, central air & heat, cozy rear courtyard w/patio and garden.

Located in one of the most desired neighborhoods in Chicago. Close to North Ave Beach, Lincoln Park (includes the Zoo, Conservatory and Caldwell Lily Pond), Museums, etc.

You will love my place because of the neighborhood, the comfy beds, the full kitchen, etc. My place is good for business travelers, families or solo adventurers and can accommodate up to six guests. Stroll the quiet, safe neighborhood and admire the stately homes in a historic setting.

Remove personal items and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Bring trash and recycling to the bins in the alley to the West. Black is for trash and Blue for recycling.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Please don't leave your dog unattended in the back yard or use as a potty area. This is a dog friendly neighborhood with ample potty areas nearby.

Any damaged linen will be charged to the Guest, $10 per towels $40 per bed sheets Please use the make up remover sheets that I provide for you!

Please remove your rubbish. There will be an additional $20 fee if not. When there are less than three guests, use of a third bedroom is prohibited.

This vintage property is conveniently located on a tree lined street. It is very well maintained. It was fully equipped, the host Sonia provided us with half & half, bread, eggs, coffee and lots of little extra's when we arrived. The bathroom has all the little extras you may have forgotten. The beds were comfortable and plenty of towels etc. The garden in the back is magical. They had parking passes for us and instructions she provided were accurate. We would stay here again.

Sonia, the host who lives in the connecting duplex, is absolutely lovely. The physical space is bright and cheery, decorated with lots of character. Wonderful selection of books on the bookshelves. The pictures don’t do justice to the courtyard/garden space in back. It’s an oasis for relaxing with coffee in the morning or after dinner with a glass of wine in the evening. Parking was easy. I found a space on the block after every drive. I look forward to visiting again!

This is a true 3 bedroom, two bath duplex which is very well equipped. The garden is a delightful place to sit. Parking is easy and the host provides a parking pass. The park and restaurants are all nearby. The neighborhood is beautiful! The hosts are generous with what the supply and with communication. Loved my time there!

We had an excellent stay! The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to do in Chicago while still being in a great neighborhood. The property is in a good location and is well kept. The communication with the host was non-existent and we ended up wasting half a day waiting on a reply. Also don't be surprised if one or more of the hosts decides to do chores in the courtyard and leer into the rental.

Regarding communication, I assume the guest texted but didnt think to just call I also take exception to the comment about us 'leering' into the apartment when doing things like watering the plants in the rear garden. I dont blame anyone for wanting privacy but that's why we have blinds on the windows and door facing the back yard While the back yard is a common area, we also try not to intrude If guests are relaxing out there.

This was a great property in the perfect neighborhood. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go - the farmer's market and the zoo, Second City, restaurants in Lincoln Park, St. Vincent DePaul church for mass on Sunday. Just perfect. And our host was very hospitable - offering suggestions for things to do, restaurants, shops and grocery stores, etc. The house was perfect and we loved the patio/outdoor space for our morning coffee.Thanks so much!

Its true that my husband was using the back staircase to water the garden In the morning and when using the grill. My apologies if this disturbed you during your stay. The property is large, clean, well stocked with basics, and wonderfully close to Lincoln Park and so much more within walking distance. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Parking is free and we had no problems finding spots just outside the building. The master bed is very comfortable. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Sonia was very communicative and was so nice to let us check in a little early and have a later checkout, which we appreciated.
