Cabin Near Lake James Luxurious and Affordable - NO PETS

I loved Teri and Gary from the very moment I met them. What a great couple!!!! They loved being in the area and really enjoyed staying at the cabin. They left everything in great shape. I hope they will return some day and I will leave the light on for them.

It is a great area with so much to do and see in Nature. Should you ever return to the area it would be good if you could see Rome Mt. It is the Mt. you see from the Inn on the parkway. Really nice mountain range. Thanks again for coming to my cabin and being such fantastic guests. You took such great care of the cabin and I do hope you will return some day. This was one of the worst liars of my time. First of all it was early spring and the Carpenter Bees had just come out. Brian told me that he had an electric fly swatter that I could use but I wanted to get my own in case he was out. Now let me tell you about Carpenter bees. You can spray them, swat them, use a water jar and they will come right back. I was in the middle of trying to at least get rid of some of them when Brian left right out of the blue. And by the way, I have never, ever been stung by a Carpenter Bee. In fact, I haven't been stun by any bee since I was a child. Also, Brian did find a water leak from the hot water heater that evidently was a slow leak and since the water heater is closed off, I did not know there was a leak. I'm thankful that he found it as I like to make repairs immediately but had no chance. I wanted to use the Dehumidifier but Brian said it did not work. I have now used it to pull the water out and it is still working, Another big lie!!!!!! He wanted me to go and buy a fan and then said the fan pulled up mold. Another big lie!!!!!!!!! There was not one speck of mold in the whole house. I will not have any mold in my house and there was none. Here's what really happened. From the very night that Brian was there I smelled a horrible odor coming from the Direction of the Cabin that made me terrible sick. I asked Brian if he had smelled it and of course he hadn't. This went on for 6 nights. Since the Odor didn't stop, I told Brian that I was going to have to call the Police to help me find the source of the Odor as it was my job to protect the guests. The next morning Brian was gone. So, you can form your own conclusions. Now that Brian is gone, there has not been any odor coming from the Direction of the Cabin. Actually, I had had a guest that had come to the Cabin before Brian and the heater was still leaking and he would have told me if there had been any mold buildup. When this guest left, I received a great review. I would never in a hundred million years rent to Brian again. Rent at your own peril.

When you left I could not even tell that you had been there. Honestly, cabin owners would fall all over themselves to get and keep a guest of your caliber. But they can't have you! I saw that you are considering booking in September. That is wonderful! I am looking forward to having more great conversations on my relaxing porch. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay in the area as it is simply marvelous. I have lived here most of my life and I continue to be mesmerized by the gorgeous mountains that surround our beautiful county. What a great couple! I couldn't ask for better. They had a great time exploring the area and enjoying the cabin. What I loved about this couple is that they took their time to exchange ideas and seemed to be in no hurry to leave which I thought was very refreshing as I always enjoy the guests.
