Beautifully appointed ocean-view home with a relaxing, beachy vibe, located 200 steps from the beach and beach access in the quiet heart of Arch Cape (about four miles south of Cannon Beach). You are close enough to enjoy the fun, restaurants, art galleries and shopping of Cannon Beach and Seaside and still have your own secluded beach for walking and beachcombing. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the ocean from the full second-story deck with barbecue or perhaps curl up with a good book by the cozy fireplace in the comfortably furnished living room. Off the main bedroom sliding door is a patio and fire pit overlooking the ocean, where you can enjoy an outdoor fire and smores with the family and friends. Throughout the house are stunning views of the ocean and forest/mountains.

The living area is spacious and tastefully decorated with Smart, High Definition Flat screen TV, cable, wireless 5-G highspeed internet access, CD with wood-burning stone fireplace. Well-equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher, microwave, appliances, drip coffee maker, Keurig and lots of dishware and cookware for a 'home-away-from-home.'

The lower level of this bright and sunny beach house provides three bedrooms with comfortable beds (one with a king bedroom suite, one with queen-size bed and one with bunk beds), a second full bathroom, laundry room with washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board. A new, comfort designed with thick mattress, queen-size, sofa sleeper will accommodate sleeping arrangements for up to eight persons. The king bedroom has a sliding door, opening to a comfortable patio with firepit and chairs. The house is immaculately cleaned before every guest arrives. Guests tell us, 'We felt immediately at home and welcome.' We supply all linens, towels, table linen, paper, soap, cleaning supplies, wood for fireplace, basic kitchen spices, cards, puzzles and family games too! Sorry, no smoking, no pets. Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am.

Nice layout with great views from the deck and well off the crazy beaten track of Cannon Beach. Have stayed many times in Cannon Beach and Manzanita, but never in Arch Cape so this was a new experience. Well equipped kitchen also.

Amazing Stay

The location was as advertised and was just right for our family beach trip. The beaches were sandy and felt safe, something important for a mom of a toddler. The fireplace was great for cooler ocean nights and the walk to the beach was a breeze. I’d suggest bringing a wagon for easier transportation of beach supplies, but it’s such a short walk, multiple trips if needed are not a burden.

The owners, Mike and Debbie Pierce purchased this home in 2004 and have been sharing it with family, old friends and new friends (our vacationers) ever since.

Why they chose this property

We first arrived in Arch Cape for a family reunion. We totally fell in love with the beauty of the beach, the salty fresh smell of the ocean, exciting rock formations, tide pools teaming with sea-life at low tide, fresh seafood, and the many wonderful things to do in the area. We searched to find just the right house for us for the next year and found our dream home 'Seagull Landing'. We have had so many adventures like clamming for razor clams at 4:30 am low-tide, fishing for salmon and rock fish, hiking at Oswald State park, exploring tide-pools, finding treasures on the beach, fires on the beach with a glass of good Oregon wine and just relaxing on our deck to watch the sunset.
We never feel more alive and contented then when we are staying at our special beach house. We have furnished our beautiful home with love and pride and all the comforts. Many friends have gifted us with special art work and 'knick-knacks' that add to the fun and whimsy of our ocean house. We want all of you to feel as much at home at Seagull Landing as we do. This is truly a house for sharing and family.

Very private beach with easy access. Nice ocean views from upper deck, downstairs patio with fire pit, family room, master bedroom and kitchen. We also adopted a very relaxed cancellation policy.
