About this property
FIFA for FAMILIES Cottage on Private Beach, 50' Waterfront on South Beach!
This is the one... waterfront with private sandy beach = harmony.
Our family fully renovated this heritage oceanfront cottage at South Beach. Our Hawaiian bungalow, Icelandic-style-inspired house features a signature beachfront firepit lounge with sweeping views of the Gulf Islands, and effortless indoor-outdoor living designed for gathering, relaxing, and taking it all in.
Set along one of the most sought-after real estate areas at Point Roberts, because it is one of the original 9 waterfront sites on the most beautiful and peaceful stretch of South Beach. This is where the strips of front lawns meet the ocean, with your very own private beach steps from the Salish Sea. This property offers a rare combination of privacy, nature, and accessibility—just minutes from Tsawwassen and an easy drive to downtown Vancouver or the airport.
Whether you're here for a FIFA stay, a family gathering, or a quiet coastal escape, this is where it all comes together. Rarely can people rent a property of this magnitude of beauty.
The Experience
Slide open the nanowall that stretches across the main living space...the full-width glass doors open wide and you join a seamless connection with the ocean.
The main living space flows directly onto a beachfront deck and expansive lawn, creating a connection between indoors and the shoreline. The 2 front bedroom sliding panels open wide up to the oceanfront. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee, sharing a meal, or simply watching the tide roll in and out, the ocean and beach is always front and center.
Just steps away, sits the signature circular firepit lounge—set at the edge of the property overlooking the beach, perfect for cozy evenings or warming up after a swim. This is where evenings unfold naturally: sunsets over the Gulf Islands, a thirst quencher in hand, conversation with friends and family, and the calming rhythm of the ocean just beyond.
As the light changes throughout the day, so does the entire atmosphere—from bright, energizing mornings to golden afternoons and peaceful, glowing evenings.
Keep your camera ready—orcas (J, K & L pods) pass through these waters, along with bald eagles, blue herons, hummingbirds, and other coastal wildlife that make this area so unique.
At low tide, expansive sandbars appear, inviting long walks, beach games, or simply exploring the shoreline filled with sealife. At high tide, the water comes alive—perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking, or a refreshing swim.
This is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience that shifts with the tide, the light, and the moment.
Beautifully renovated cabin with modern finishes
Open-concept living, dining, and kitchen
Floor-to-ceiling folding glass doors opening to the ocean
Bright, airy interior with clean West Coast design
The design is simple, intentional, and welcoming—allowing the ocean and natural surroundings to take center stage.
This is relaxed luxury—comfortable, refined, and completely connected to nature.
Signature Outdoor Living
Oceanfront firepit lounge with circular seating
Front-row sunset views over the Gulf Islands
Large grassy lawn for games, yoga, and lounging

Slide open the full-width nanowall...let the ocean in. The main living space flows directly onto the beachfront deck, expansive lawn, sandy beach to the Salish Sea beyond — creating seamless indoor-outdoor living for gathering.
The 2 beachfront bedrooms open to the oceanview...fall asleep to the sound of waves...wake up to fresh ocean air... soft coastal light.
Mornings with a perfect cortado (Italian espresso machine), days on the beach or in the water & evenings at the beachfront firepit watching the sun set over the Gulf Islands. The Vibe – South Beach
There are 9 original heritage oceanfront bungalows on this stretch of South Beach, originally built in the 1920s as summer retreats by Vancouver and New Westminster professional families. In the 1950s, owners purchased the road in front of the 9 properties and registered an agreement that nothing could ever be built to obstruct their connection to the ocean — which is why these homes still enjoy unobstructed waterfront access today.
This bungalow has been thoughtfully restored to blend historic West Coast character with a relaxed coastal feel. The design is simple, bright, and intentional — exposed beams, white interiors, sea-toned floors, and full glass nanowalls that open completely to the ocean so indoor and outdoor living become one continuous space.
Relaxed luxury — comfortable, refined, connected to nature.
