The property is located on a quiet street but close to the town centre. It is a beautiful house with stunning river view. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The check-in process was smooth without any hassle. Last but not the least, Carolyn is a great host.

Clean and serene this place delivered what we needed, a calm long weekend away before the Christmas craziness! Everyone enjoyed the outdoors. Fun in the sun, canoeing, bbq and stand up paddle boarding. Highly recommended!!!

This is beautiful property on the water. Loved the location. Please be mindful that not all rooms have A/c and on hot days unless you open the windows the nights can be bit stuffy.

Great location and stay

The house was right on the inlet with everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. The jetty is right on the water with great fishing. Close to town and clubs. Would definitely stay again!

The location was magic, especially for those with a boat. Perfect outdoor space and views. Weather not perfect so we used the air con for heating which did a great job. The kitchen was very well equipped for those planning home cooked meals.

Great location - needs updating

Great location for a great holiday. House needs a few upgrades but had everything we needed. Could do with a good clean though. The house was left cleaner than what we found it.

gorgeous location

A home full of character with most rooms looking onto beautiful water views. The rumpus room is a standout family-friendly room. Well stocked library - enjoyed the cooking books and needed more time to immerse myself in the Tim Winton collection. Kitchen utensils and equipment were fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Awesome location, right on the canal, it’s beautiful. Nothing better than not having to leave your own place to fish off your own jetty! Nicely renovated. Mat at back door is slippery under tiles, A/c in bedrooms would be nice, as would block out blinds. Internet needs to be more stable especially with a smart TV. We spent a few nights having to hot spot off our phones.Great feature was the coded door check-in (keyless), not having to worry about picking up and dropping off keys was fantastic idea.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes unfortunately the internet is a problem for most properties in the SI local area. As you know I have changed providers and an NBN upgrade from FTTN to FTTP has now finally been scheduled for the next week or so . Hopefully fast speeds @ 500 mbps and no dropouts in future !!

Nice place and had a wonderful weekend.

Great communication from owner/manager. The property was actually better than described. Was exceptionaly clean and well set up. The inclusion of a few basic kitchen items and toiletries made it very easy. Nice little beach with swimming and kayaking right at your back door. Beds and lounges very comfortable and the house was more than enough room for the five of us. Only complaint was that it was very hot on the first night and it does lack air-conditioning and only one fan. Would stay again.

Everything went good to plan . Carolyn made our stay very relaxing easy instructions regarding entry and property use . Everything was provided from the well equipped kitchen to canoes, kayaks & stand up boards. . The amazing deck with great sunsets makes a very relaxing outdoor dining. All rooms were clean and well presented. The double garage has been decorated as an entertainment room which makes life with children a great safe haven. The jetty is a real bonus we could sit there for hours watching the fish and bird life.Our only disappointment is could not stay longer.!

Fantastic house - superb renovations

This is our 2nd time staying at Carolyn's property and we were so happy to come back. Carolyn has done some impressive renovations on the property since our last stay, making the house even more suited to a family holiday in Sussex Inlet. The house is fresh, open, clean and has prime position on the inlet. Our kids were able to fish successfully from the jetty, and they enjoyed the sandy beach and use of the kayaks. The rumpus room provides a great spot for the kids to hang out and the newly added deck area provides a beautiful place to relax and eat over looking the water. All the rooms were spacious and had in built or walk in robes. The bathrooms are finished to a high spec. Carolyn was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back!

Ultimate family holiday

Couldn’t have asked for a better property for our family. Situated right on the water, we had the views and easy access to water activities! With the kayak and SUP provided as well as other boards, our family had everything we needed for a fun and active holiday. We enjoyed fishing from the comfort of our own private jetty too. Carolyn is a superb hostess. Her home has everything needed for a comfortable and hassle free stay. Her communication is 10/10 and very helpful. We loved the bedrooms and bathrooms setup. Perfect for us as we have teens and a young child. Plenty of room to move about. Our fave place was the converted garage. We would dine here, play board games and sit and watch the children out in the back yard whilst comfortably sitting on the Adirondack chairs. A beautiful spot to watch the sunset. Just want to thank you Carolyn for a wonderfully memorable holiday. We have been to many places over the years, and this was by the far the best spot as property for us. Highly recommend staying here!
