The Space:

Reset your senses at Chynoweth, meaning "new house" in Cornish. Nestled amidst majestic Karri and Jarrah trees, the property features an expansive wraparound deck that reveals awe-inspiring valley vistas — an idyllic setting for unforgettable outdoor dining and blissful relaxation. Let the kids roam free in the safety of the fully enclosed garden, while your furry friends enjoy their own haven in the provided kennel. As the sun rises and sets, keep your eyes peeled for the resident kangaroos, who often emerge from the surrounding bushland to greet the day.



Step inside to an open-plan living area where cathedral ceilings and large picture windows bring the outside in. The cosy wood-burning fire is the heart of the home, creating a warm and inviting space to gather on cooler evenings. Comfortable sofas and a TV offer a great place to relax, while the dining area provides plenty of room for shared meals. If you need a quiet retreat, a second lounge room is ready for movie nights, games, or curling up with a book. The kitchen is a cook’s dream, equipped with modern appliances, ample counter space, and a central island. Whether you're preparing a big family breakfast or plating up local produce from a nearby farmers' market, it’s designed for easy entertaining.



The sleeping spaces are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with the first queen bedroom with an ensuite opening onto the deck—imagine waking up to misty valley views and the sound of birdsong. A second queen bedroom and two bunk bedrooms offer a mix of sleeping arrangements to suit everyone.



A main bathroom featuring a relaxing bath and a separate, fully-equipped laundry area with a washer and dryer, plus an additional toilet, ensure effortless upkeep and convenience. Private parking onsite is also available.



Guest Access:

During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!

Please read and respect the house rules. This is very much appreciated, thank you! Before your arrival, we will also share a house guide that contains instructions on how to access the property, use certain appliances, and anything else you may need to know.



A starter pack of wood is provided during the winter months only (June – August). This includes kindling, firelighters, matches, and wood. Axes are not supplied due to safety reasons. Additional wood may be purchased from a nearby fuel station or hardware store.
