Update: carpet replaced throughout , quartz counters in kitchen, backsplash, dining room table , side tables in both living room and bedroom , coffee table, new mattress in master bedroom (Nov/22) . Wonderful, SKI IN and SKI OUT, Two bedroom, Two Bath, end unit condominium in Stone's Throw very near orient and also near Mount Morrisey chairlift. Views of both Mount Tod and Morrisey from very bright and sunny living room. Sliding doors from bedroom and living room to private hot tub 25 feet above road with spectacular views. SONY SMART TV/Blueray DVD above fireplace in living room. Also 32 inch LCD TV and DVD in second bedroom. New large U sectional wiith sofa bed in living room.
Very well equipped kitchen is a dream to cook in, with view window. Even views from second bedroom! Imagine putting the children to bed in the bedroom and enjoying the six person hot tub! Washer and dryer in unit. Outside entry/exit. Two underground parking spots. Nine minute walk to village along scenic creekside trail.

Fantastic stay!

This is our second time staying at JOHN’s place. The unit is fantastic and has all the necessities and is well furnished. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the location is right on the hill. last year, we drove to the parking lot but this year we realized that it is truly ski in and out, and you can ski right to the door. The private hot tub is great after a long day skiing!

Family Ski Weekend

Great location with easy ski in/ski out access and everything you need for a very enjoyable weekend on the slopes. Unit is very well equipped and the hot tub hit the spot after a day of skiing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Sun Peaks getaway.

John’s unit is well located in a nice complex, hot tub was a hit after a day skiing and ski in ski out from the Orient chair was a nice bonus! Description and photos are accurate. Some trouble finding the unit as they aren’t in sequential order, but beyond that it was a great stay; will be forwarding to friends who ask for SunPeaks recommendations

We really enjoyed the weather and excellent terrain at sun peaks. The condo was perfect for our family of four. Kitchen had everything we needed - even a coffee grinder! Will definitely be back!

Great property for a holiday. Ski in ski out. Slight hiccup with hot tub but John very quick to rectify. Wonderful time and hope to be back next year.

Great stay at Sun Peaks

Stayed in early March for 4 nights with my 2 sons. Great location! Skiing was fantastic! Nice 10 minute walk to the village restaurants. Skied in for a lunch break. If I had any questions, I had an immediate response. Booking was super easy, with John being available for any questions.

We had a great time. Our 3 kids, under 6 loved the bunk beds, tobogganing, skiing and the tv/DVDs in their room :) the place had all we needed and more. The kitchen was super well equipped which made cooking a breeze. The hot tub was a perfect end to the day. Highly recommend a family ski trip in sun peaks and stone's throw is a perfect place to stay. The owner was very responsive when booking and easy to get in touch with throughout.

Just what we needed.

Very private and comfortable. My Family of five (two teenage boys and a 10 year old) loved to be able to ski in for lunch and return to the slopes with ease. Hot tub is situated perfectly offering privacy and a great view of some of the ski runs. Loved it and will likely return next year...just hope they purchase a new garlic press!

Surpassed all Expectations

I’d highly recommend this property. It is really spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The hot tub is fantastic, on a little deck. It is a 1 minute walk to get to where you can ski down to the Orient lift to take you to the main village area. We could even ski back to almost next door, despite the snow melting all week. John has been a fabulous host, very responsive and helpful. If we are ever back in Sun Peaks we would definitely stay here again.

Winter Holiday at Sun Peaks (Stones Throw)

A really wonderful property. Loved the fact it is a corner townhouse with lots of windows & natural light. Able to watch the sunset over Mt Morrissey from the living room & from the private hot tub. Easy ski-in/ski-out access. An easy 10min walk into the main village along the village trail. Fantastic communication with the owner & property manager. Minor issue with the hot-tub attended to promptly. Would definitely recommend this property.

Comfortable ski-in ski-out property

A quiet, convenient, spacious condo for 4 people. Probably best suited to two adults and two children, as the bunk is not ideal for an adult couple (the bottom, double is cramped for two adults and clearly the same lumpy, creaky mattress as commented on by another reviewer). Truly ski-in, ski-out, with just metres to walk in your boots. Good corner location with lovely view of trees and hill, versus surrounding units.

Bright Corner Unit

Bright corner unit, great location ski in/out with 15 minute walk to the village. A few hiccups, we were given the wrong entry and wifi codes and the hot tub didn’t work. Brian, the property manager was very responsive.

First time at Sun Peaks

Bright corner condo, ski-in, ski-out. Comfortable new sofa, comfortable beds. Storage spaces for our clothing in the bedrooms. Very nice to have heated floors in bathroom, kitchen and boot/ski room. Jacuzzi was private and easy to use, located on the porch outside living room and master suite. Communication with owner was excellent. It was a bit hard to find Unit 19 because it is close to 25 and 26, not 17 and 18. Ground floor made it easy to get in and out with our skis. There is a flight of stairs to the parking area but once we moved in, we never needed the car until we left. Really good ski area, well laid out, modern quad lifts everywhere.

Very clean well outfitted rental

I always pack extra kitchen supplies as you don’t know what will be stocked. This unit was very well stocked. It was very clean. The only complaint is that it took us awhile to find the units entrance. Numbers aren’t in sequence. Other than that would definitely stay again.

My family and I stayed at this condo for two weeks over winter for skiing. I couldn't recommend it enough and we plan on returning. The owner gave us very good service communication wise and the place was excellent. Great location too. Ski in and ski out which we needed as we didn't have a car and was a short walk through a gorgeous forest and condo track to the village for supplies. The beds were very comfortable and we really felt at home. The jacuzzi was an added bonus for us and our children loved it. Found it difficult to get the TV/cable working but that would be our only negative remark. Would be a wonderful place to visit during non-skiing weather I think too.

I started going to Sun Peaks to teach my family to ski, and quickly fell in love
with Sun Peaks. The hotel stays were getting longer and longer, time to buy a condo!
No regrets, still love it up here, it is wonderful.

What makes this property unique

The enjoyment of a absolutely wonderful mountain and village, PLUS some of the friendliest
people you could ever meet. Add to that the great winter climate (lots of sun and dry snow),
and the beautiful views from the condo and hot tub - a great place to spend time with your
loved ones, relax, and enjoy the outdoors.
