The Pear Cottage is a renovated workman s cottage, the earliest part dating from the 1890’s. It offers a restored claw foot bath from the original cottage on the property and is a perfect place to unwind. The cottage is 15 minutes from Port Arthur and 10 minutes from the start of the Cape Raoul walking track. This track also leads to the world renowned big wave surfing spot, Shipstern s Bluff. Magnicent White Beach is only five minutes away. On a clear winter s night you may be fortunate to view the Southern Aurora shimmering in the southern sky. The cottage has two luxury king size beds and two king singles giving you a perfect excuse to enjoy a leisurely sleep in. Other features of the cottage include: A well equipped kitchen with continental breakfast provisions • tea/herbal tea, and locally made coffee. • a wood heater and air conditioning • under - floor heating in the bathroom • laundry with washing machine • verandah and deck with BBQ • wi fi and Foxtel The Pear Cottage has its own private driveway and is not visible from any of the other residences, giving you privacy. The verandah and deck with a BBQ sits at the front of house looking out towards Benjafield Ridge, a perfect place to enjoy a five o clock wind down.
