Grande Corniche U17 is a beautifully renovated, spacious two-bedroom apartment located on Kirra Hill, just a stones throw from famous Kirra beach and surf point.

The apartment undoubtedly boasts one of the best views on the Gold Coast.

The apartment offers 2 bedrooms master with queen bed, walk in robe, ensuite, balcony access and wall mounted TV. The second bedroom offers 2 single beds and both rooms have ceiling fans for year-round comfort.

Enjoy relaxing in the spacious open plan loungeroom with TV, Dvd player and unlimited Wi-Fi and complete with stylish, comfortable furnishings. There is also a second sitting room with couch, TV and Dvd player.

The spacious balcony offers some of the best views on the coast. Enjoy sunrises over the ocean and sunsets over the Gold Coast hinterland. You can check the surf while enjoying your morning coffee, and then step across the road to the world famous surf break and patrolled section of beach.

The well equipped kitchen with stone benchtops and dishwasher has everything you need to cook and entertain on holidays. There is also a full size bathroom with shower over bath and internal laundry facilities for your convenience.

Grande Corniche is a well maintained and secure building in an ideal location. Enjoy swimming and sunbaking at the terrace pool and the convenience of 2 undercover, secure carparks (tandem).

Keys
Keys are to be collected from and returned to our office, 76 Griffith Street Coolangatta. Our office is an approximate 3 minute drive south of the property and 6 minute drive south of the GC Airport.

Linen
Linen is not provided at this property. Holiday properties are equipped with blankets/ doonas and pillows and protectors, however please remember to bring your own personal linen including sheets, pillow cases, towels and tea towels. Linen can be hired at a reasonable cost; we will provide details once your booking is confirmed. We also suggest you bring with you soaps, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper etc.

The building location is up a hill, offering amazing views and cool breezes. Be aware that there are lots of steps leading to the town or the ocean. Restaurants and stores are within walking distance. Garage parking is secure. Very quiet unit and location within the town.

Calm hilltop perch

All about the view! Up with the darting swallows overlooking beautiful Kirra beach. The unit is comfortable, plush carpet makes it feel homely - wide verandah is perfect for those looking to sit and stare out at the ocean. Feels like a more “mature”’stay - mostly residential with quiet residents - nice for those who want a relaxing time without lots of poolside noise etc. Although it is on top of Kirra Hill the walk to shops and restaurants in either Coolangatta or Kirra is quite doable as long as you’re mobile. I stayed with my elderly parents (in their 80’s and they managed the walks in a couple of times each day. There are steps down to the beach (close to 100 all up) which are also very manageable - would not be ideal for anyone looking for an easy stroll. There is good parking and access is easy from main entry to the lift, so that’s an option rather than walking. Beds are comfortable. We loved it.

Great property

The condo is on a hill overlooking Kirra Beach with spectacular ocean views. Open the door and just stare at the waves. So nice. Great kitchen if you cook. Everything is available to make anything! Washer and dryer all good. Carpark under is tight but it’s nice to have. Down one side of the hilltop is Kirra down the other is Coolangatta. Woolworths and great dining choices all within a walk. I didn’t say an “easy” walk. Be aware that the hill is quite steep in both directions. Some things to be aware of: Be sure to drive in from the Miles Street/Kirra side as GPS wants you to make an impossible turn from Cooley. Try to get very clear instructions about the many keys that you get. One is for public areas, one for lift and one for the unit. Two more that I have no idea about. All good once you get trained by a resident.😁 No air-con but this was no problem on day 2 after I realized I could open the back bedroom balcony door and the front balcony door and the cool air would draft through. It got cold! I could regulate the temperature by how much I opened the back slider. Overall I really loved this comfortable rental. Very nice stay and would enjoy another visit.

Gorgeous property with the most spectacular view of the coast line. Comfortable and well equipped kitchen and room for a family of 5 adults to spread out. Only one negative for us was the lack of fly screens mainly on the bedrooms. Nights were warm but we couldn't open bedroom windows as the mosquitoes came in to bite. Fly screens or an aircon would perfect this property.

We had initial issues due to the fact that the information sheet given us had the wrong address and poor advice about the use of the different keys. Apart from that the property was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return at any opportunity.
