Featuring 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom this funky cottage is ideal for your next beach escape. Located across the road from the RSL Club & river you are within walking distance to shops, beaches and an abundance of fresh seafood at the Evans Head Co-Op.

Hot and uncomfortable

Hot and uncomfortable in bedrooms tower fans were useless cooking pots had no lids we were not informed of construction work next door we went on a holiday to relax not to be subject to noise from 7am to mid afternoon also they decided to work on Sunday morning for three hours until we informed then it was rude to be working on a Sunday we cut our stay short due to noise we will NOT be back

A little hot

Overall the property was agreeable and we enjoyed our stay. The downsides were: limited toilet paper (perhaps a small issue but 3 rolls for a week is stingy - are we expected to provide our own?), there were no replacement rubbish bags for the rubbish and compost receptacles (again are we expected to provide our own?), the A/C is only in the main lounge/dining/kitchen room so the bedrooms with the queen beds were hot. The tower fan provided was completely inadequate it would struggle to blow out a candle. Better cooling options need to be provided. For this reason I would avoid staying here in summer. Also the neighbouring property was a construction site during our stay. We were not informed of this prior to staying - perhaps a reduced rate would have been a gesture of goodwill.

Fabulous Accomodation

We have just enjoyed a wonderful 2 week stay at Evans Head. We couldn’t have asked for better accomodation, walking distance to river, down town and even to Airforce Beach if you are more energetic. Will definitely rebook this house for future visits.

We had a wonderful stay, well appointed, spotlessly clean, nice little enclosed yard for our fur baby. And loved the fact that it was close to everything, we didn't need to use the car.

Great Beach Cottage!

We Really enjoyed our time in this house. Was close to everything, pretty much walk everywhere. Very clean & comfortable and roomy for a cottage type house. Loved it!

Great Location

This home is very comfortable. A home away from home. Well stocked kitchen plenty of extras. Lovely outdoor area includes webber bbq an outdoor shower and a grassed area for a game of cricket or for your small dog to run around on. The owners have done their best to think of everything to make your stay enjoyable in this old style cottage close to the river and local shops. Stayed for one week and would definately recommend as good value. Happy Holidaying!
