A beautiful stay, Barbara has a wonderful home and we are so lucky to have her host us. My husband and I were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary and needed somewhere to rest after a day spent in Detroit. We found Barbara's listing and thought it was perfect. Very appropriate pricing, and we appreciate the option to stay for only one night, most places have a two night minimum. We had a nice, relaxing and quiet stay. Barbara was there for anything we needed. The bed was AMAZING. Loved the many, many TV channels to peruse through while lounging. The shower was nice and relaxing, very generous with the amenities. The space we stayed in was very clean, much appreciated. Felt right at home. We will absolutely think of Barbara and her home if we ever need to stay in the area in the future.

It was great to get back home to visit family and see how things have changed. Initially, I looked at staying at a local hotel, but came across Barbara’s listing and glad I did. The property was beautiful inside and out, private, and centrally located for our visit. Barbara was easy to communicate with and more like a neighbor than a host. I definitely will stay again should we back to visit in the future.

Easy check in process, the host was welcoming HOWEVER the posting states ENTIRE HOUSE, then in fine print, it's a shared home where you have to walk through the shared space to the private area which is whats pictured. While I was in the fence about the shared space we checked in left doe dinner only to return to a barking growling dog as we entered the front door..we were told he was just there for the night and that a caged barking dog shouldn't be a concern. We could see where the dog was or if was indeed caged. Long story short this along with the sahred outdated space, we opted NOT TO STAY and requested a refund that the host denied. Melanie. Please be sure to read the fine print. Vrbo was great the host seemed bitter..we found a beleautful hotel so the trip wasn't ruined.

A favorite place to stay

We have stayed with Barbara a number of times and will continue to do so--it is definitely one of our favorite places to stay: relaxing, friendly atmosphere makes it a home away from home.
