The spacious, fully-equipped house has been lovingly restored in 2011 and provides families, groups and teams far-reaching opportunities for recreation and activity alike. The guest house is suitable as a starting point for your relaxing 4 to 12 people to every day interesting excursions, hiking or Radfahrttouren along the Rhine, the Rhine sidewalk or the Seven Mountains to start.

In addition, the newly created and opened in October 2015 House "Cottage - Small Villa", which connects directly to the small villa to be booked.

Hübsch renoviertes Haus mit großer, insgesamt sehr gut eingerichteter Küche (mit nur etwas unterdimensionierten Kühlschrank) u sehr großem Aufenthaltsbereich im EG. 3 Wunderschöne Schlafzimmer für je 2Personen im 1.OG, Matratzen auf Einbauten im 2.OG für weitere 4 Personen. What a wonderful place the Kleine Villa im Pfuhl is. Arriving on site check-in was swift and easy and the accommodation was clean throughout. Owners even allowed me to have mail deleivered to them (next door) for me as I was ordering something with a short turn round. Would definitely return to this property.

bestens geeignet für ein Familientreffen

Wir haben unseren Familien-Osterurlaub mit 5 Erwachsenen, 3 Kindern und 2 netten Hunden in der Kleinen Villa im Pfuhl in Unkel verbracht und uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Frau Peters hat uns sehr nett begrüßt und alle Fragen beantwortet, das Haus war ideal für uns und Unkel als Urlaubsort war bestens geeignet für einen Familienurlaub. Das Haus ist modern und bietet viel Platz in dem riesigen Raum im Erdgeschoss mit offener Küche, das angrenzende Wohnzimmer bietet einen schönen Ausweichraum zum Fernsehen etc. Die oberen Stockwerke haben 5 Schlafzimmer und einen weiteren großen Rückzugsraum. Küche ist bestens ausgestattet und erlaubte ausgiebiges gemeinsames Kochen. Der abgeschlossenen Garten war ideal für unsere Kinder und unsere Hunde. Die Lage innerhalb Unkel ist sehr friedlich und gleichzeitig nahe am Rhein und der mittelalterlichen Altstadt. Die Umgebung erlaubt schöne Ausflüge per Schiff und Auto. Alles in allem ein schöner Urlaub und vielen Dank an Frau Peters für die gute Aufnahme in ihrem schönen Haus.

Fantastic!

The house was clean, spacious and beautifully remodeled. There was plenty of space for our family gathering of 13 (9 adults, 4 children). The hosts were kind and gracious and helpful when our son got sick. The house is centrally located (within 45 minutes) to many of the Christmas markets we visited - Burg Satzvey, Schloss Drachenburg, Cologne, Bonn, Siegburg and Koblenz. The little town of Unkel is quaint, quiet and picturesque. We enjoyed walking down the Rhine and to the local bakery. I highly recommend this home to other families. Thank you, Dr Axel and Vera, for sharing this home with us. We made wonderful family memories.

Malkurs in der Villa - Aquarellmalen in Unkel

Wir haben mit 5 "Malweibern" dieses wunderbare Haus total genossen. Die Freiheit zu malen, wann immer wir wollten und zwischendurch uns ein wenig Essen zu zaubern - es war eine wirkliche Erholung und kreative Ausszeit. Die Villa ist so geschmackvoll eingerichtet, und es fehlt an nichts. Der Ort Unkel ist entzückend und das nahe gelegene Hans Arp Museum hat uns wieder sehr begeistert. Wir hatten einen wunderbares, kleines Familienfest in der charmant renovierten "Kleinen Villa", die für eine Gruppe von Freunden oder Familien perfekt geeignet ist. Charmantes Wohlfühl-Ferienhaus mit Stil

Wir haben uns mit 11 Leuten an einem verlängerten Wochenende rundum wohl gefühlt in der kleinen Villa im Pfuhl! Ein besonderes Highlight sind die liebevoll eingerichteten Schlafzimmer im jeweils individuellen Stil von Afrika über Australien bis Orient. Die Bäder sind großzügig geschnitten, modern und ebenfalls sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Garten und Terrasse hinter dem Haus sind uneinsehbar und laden mit großem Tisch zu gemütlichen Mahlzeiten unter freiem Himmel oder einem Sonnenbad auf der Gartenliege ein. Die Ausstattung der Küche und des gesamten Hauses ist hervorragend; da die Vermieter gleich nebenan wohnen, ließe sich ggf. auch noch etwas Fehlendes anfragen. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war jederzeit sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend, zuverlässig und um unser Wohlergehen bemüht; sehr sympathisch gleich zu Beginn ein Willkommens-Körbchen mit Leckereien - inklusive Kaffeepads zum Ankommen! Herzlichen Dank für ein gelungenes Wohlfühl-Wochenende!

Tolled Ferienhaus/Perfect vacation home

We stayed at the Villa Im Pfuhl this July for a week with two families and a total of 4 adults and 7 kids. This place was absolutely perfect! Enough bedrooms/space on three levels, two nice spacious bathrooms, a really fully equipped kitchen with open dining room and an extra TV room. We also used the outside charcoal grill and could sit at the big garden table with everyone. The kids could play in the backyard (basketball/hoop) and they absolutely loved to take the provided bikes to go on little tours through the beautiful village Unkel and alongside the Rhine. There are restaurants and shops nearby and it is also conveniently close to Bonn and Cologne as well as the airport. Unkel itself is a lovely small village on the river Rhein and you can easily go on river cruises from there. Vera was a wonderful host! She was there when we arrived and walked us through the house. If we needed anything it was no problem to contact her (she actually lives next door). Bottom line: if you are looking for a house to stay in the Cologne/Bonn area this is the perfect place!
