Cute cabin with lots of potential

Wish there would have been pictures or a better description of the outside of the cabin to point out it was a side by side. Some cabins share a fire pit and grills. Wasn’t completely what I was hoping for with privacy and a get away from the craziness of life.

Dear Kelly, Thanks much for your review. We do list in the first sentence of the description it is a side-by-side unit, but we can work on making that clearer. As for the grills, each side-by-side has a choice of a charcoal or gas grill so that each guest has their preference to use. We are down one firepit for that unit actually, but it has been ordered and once received all of our cabins will each have their own firepit. As for outside photos, this fall we are re-painting the outsides of each of the cabins and plan on posting photos as soon as that process is complete. Alllll that being said, we appreciate your feedback and will work on making things clearer! All the best to you, Genevieve & Darren

We recommend Coady's POV!

We stayed for a week with three kids under five and Coady's was just right for us! The cabins were very clean - we felt comfortable letting our 8 month old roll around. The bathroom had a new-looking full bathtub and shower and all of the furniture and fixtures seemed brand new. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, appliances, dishes, pots and pans. (You'll need to bring all food items including salt and pepper and coffee). No cable, but the wifi signal was strong and the TV has an HDMI port. The towels were new and fluffy and the sheets and bedding were white and crisp. (BYO shampoo and toiletries) We loved the free boats and the beautiful sand beach. It's partially shaded during the morning, which was good for the kids. Our four year old jumped off the raft for hours! There were several other families with children staying at the resort while we were there and the welcoming community atmosphere was wonderful. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the lodge was a fun place to hang out (2 large smart TVs, two new couches, pool table, arcade games, juke box, board games, Kuerig, and general store.) On site coin-op washer and dryer as well. The playground in Phelps is really phenomenal. We also went into Eagle River several times and visited the beautiful library (free library card even for out of state visitors), the movie theater, and the children's museum. (Can't say enough about the Northwoods Children's Museum for young children! Our kids were completely entranced and cried when it was time to leave.) Many cabins are two connected side-by-side, so this could be perfect for families traveling together, or an intergenerational vacation, if you like having your own space. We recommend Coady's POV!

Up North experience.

My family enjoyed our weekend stay. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable, Location was ideal for our needs. The lake was easily accessible as well as scenic. Would definitely recommend to others.
