I hate to give a bad review as of course this property is lovely and in a great location. However, we were shocked at the level of the construction works next door. It is massive and very intrusive. There i no privacy between the site and the property so you need to keep blinds down and don't want to sit outside on the balcony as it looks right into the site and the builders are looking up at you! The noise started at 6.30am and even on Saturday they were still there. The builders put on blaring loud music its so loud you feel like you are inside a night club. Unfortunately i do not think the 20% discount makes up for any of this. There are so many other places nearby that you can stay at instead.If you are the types to be out at 7am till 5pm everyday then it may work for you. The house itself is nice and comfortable and the location is great. Id stay there in a years time when the works maybe finished.

As we discussed, we have no control over the construction, timing, noise levels, and disturbance therefore we offered you the discount from the start. We communicated clearly and regularly, it was then your decision to proceed. As you can see there are very few other negative reviews for guests in the same circumstances.

Wonderful week in Port Douglas

We had a terrific week at On the Beach holiday accommodations! The property management team was super responsive leading up to our visit, and the check-in process was smooth. The location of this rental can't be beat: we were steps away from Four Mile Beach (right by the netted part, super important during stinger season) and also steps away from all the shops and restaurants on Macrossan Street. The rental was clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated having the laundry on the first floor. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great location and property

Great location for getting around Port Douglas and all it has to offer. Convenient to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Plenty of space in the living areas and outside relaxing.

Fantastic stay!!!

We had a great 12 nights with our family (2 adults and 3 kids). Very spacious townhouse and perfect location to access all Port Douglas tourist attractions. Toni and Chris (as hosts) were fantastic!

Port Douglas , great stay

The property was easy to find. Accessible to the beach and walking tracks. Right on the edge of town. Lovely kitchen and spacious lounge areas.
