The views are even better in person! We saw beautiful fall colors, great sunsets and sunrises and clear skies full of stars at night. The cabin is spacious with a great fire place. Definitely a great place to stay!
Not to be missed experience. Views are amazing night and day. Great dark sky for stargazing. Property has been thoughtfully renovated to maximize enjoyment of this location. Wood burning fireplace adds lots of ambiance in the evenings. Plenty of kindling and dry wood for easy fire building.Host Mark is a delight with great knowledge of area attractions.
Clean rooms mark is very friendly and flexible on helping or answering any questions about his beautiful off grid cabin ! My family always enjoys the view and exploring the near by views and locations Mohawk has to offer !! I will always come back to marks one of a kind gem
Beautiful property with an amazing view, seclusion, yet close enough to town to have your entire day to do anything and everything you could want to in the U.P.
An absolutely amazing venue! From watching ore freighters off the multiple decks to enjoying the mountain bike and hiking trails it was amazing. Felt like you were in a tree house the way the terrain falls away. Lots of local sights and dining; Fitzgerald’s is excellent.
Great property. Just know that this isn't going to be a 5 star resort with all the bells and whistles. Went on a guys weekend with a total of 9 guys. Very spacious place. Perfect for family get togethers. Middle of no where (in a good way). Great view and so quiet. The owner is very friendly and would definitely recommend working with him again. Definitely a great get away if you are looking to actually get away. Cell reception is basically non existent, but there is WIFI there that works really well. The owner is great about responding in a timely manor if you have any questions.
Great place! Very secluded which is what we were looking for. We really enjoyed the views of the big lake and the freighters traveling across it. Excellent place for us to explore the area with our SXS and our dog loved to run around the grounds. Mark (the host), was excellent to communicate with and made our stay perfect!
Awesome location, very beautiful view of Lake Superior! Host is friendly and easy to communicate with. Only complaint - there were a lot of flies in the house both dead and alive. Awesome spot to stay to tour the Keweenaw
The property is phenomenal. Our family enjoyed the peace, tranquility, and close access to bike trails. The views here are priceless. Mark is an amazing host, will definitely be visiting one of his properties again!
We had a great time staying at this one of a kind property in the Keewenaw. Stunning views from the deck, except the Canadian wildfire smoke limited the views during our stay!
What a beautiful place to stay! Mark is a wonderful host as well. He was on point with communication and helpful information. The cabin is very well kept and comfortable, and the views from the deck are absolutely stunning.Already looking forward to next time!
