Large villa, great location, needs refresh and organization
We had a generally positive experience. The host is nice and responsive via text, but lots of minor bothersome issues add up to impact the stay.
The positives:
• Large villa, in a nice location near the bridge in Antirio. Villa is generally clean, Constantina comes daily to check in on things and is very nice.
• Outdoor areas are a wonderful place to spend a summer day. Newly built deck and lighting.
The negatives:
- Staged photos are not reflective of the actual condition.
- Two upper bedrooms, office, and garage are disorganized and have family’s personal belongings.
- Bathroom cleanliness needs improvement. The master bathroom tub is cracked. The first-floor bathroom needs better lighting and a new shower curtain, and the shower drains slowly.
- The host had workers on and inside the property unannounced from 9 am on our last day.
- Wifi is neither secure nor 50mbps, so you can’t video conference.
Minor issues:
- The electrical panel has fuses tripping constantly.
- The garage and lower levels are not really clean and fresh enough for guests, so its actually 4 bed 4 bath, not really 5 bedrooms/baths.
- Adjacent building parking frequently blocks the driveway
Living Room TV speakers and DVD player are not connected.
