From here you can start in many directions, as Thale, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg and the chunk close centrally around Blankenburg. In Blankenburg you can even the great and the small baroque castle view with baroque garden, the castle ruins fortress Regenstein, offering the Knights Festival annually. In addition, in summer invites the Biofreibad in Thiepark and the climbing forest. There are several viewpoints overlooking the Harz foreland. Up to Halberstadt and Quedlinburg the view takes. The forest is ideal for hiking and Nordic walking, mountain biking with proper descents are in the vicinity, in winter you can Nordic ski, tobogganing etc. .Other rentals can be found at
