What a wonderful location! Stepping out and seeing the ocean first thing in the morning is something so special! The beds are some of the most comfortable ones we've slept on. Having all the beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and toys, along with a wagon to carry it all was such a treat. We loved walking to Cafe Elysa in the mornings (the 101 omelette is delicious) before heading down to the beach.Note the windows have blinds and do not completely darken the room - if you're someone who needs blackout shades, you may need to bring your own. You can also hear the train horn at night, though it surprisingly didn't bother any of us once we were asleep. We would certainly come back!

Great location in Carlsbad

Although there isn't much of a view, the location is great and the property was very clean. Beds were comfortable and the unit was well stocked. We would stay here again.

Perfect location

We had a wonderful stay! Our family of four grown-up adults truly enjoyed our time at this property. The location is fantastic—close to everything we needed. The home was very clean and comfortable, and the owners/managers were incredibly kind and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Great condo close to the beach!

Very nice and comfortable condo a short walk from a good beach. Comfortable beds, good AC. Also a short walk to Carlsbad Village, which has lots of restaurants, a 7-11, etc., which was great. We would come back!

Home away from home

We stay here every time we come to Carlsbad and it’s the perfect spot!! We’ve stayed in 3 of the 8 condos on this property and all of them have been absolutely wonderful. Always clean, updated and stocked with everything we need to make a perfect home away from home!

While not luxurious, the units (we stayed in 2 different units during our 2-week stay) were clean, very well-equipped and comfortable and are very close to the beach and within a short, easy walk to shops and restaurants in. Carlsbad.

Perfect location

This was the perfect spot to stay while visiting our son and his wife who live just around the block. The unit was extremely clean. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels, including beach towels. Appreciated the air conditioning units in the bedrooms. Location is perfect - close to beach and the Village- just a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing!

Amazing property in the heart of Carlsbad, few minutes walk from the beach. Very clean with good quality furniture and kitchen supplies and it was well stocked up including beach chairs, umbrellas, towels… It is a beautiful property and we would rent again if in the area…

Nice apartment by the sea

Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. There was little noise. The dishes, towels, etc were quality items. The location was great, just a block from the ocean. We would stay there again.

Convenient location and clean and simple accommodation

When we changed our arrival date, it took a lot of work to get the accurate nightly rate as quoted in the original booking. Once that got straightened out, we enjoyed staying there. It was a very clean, simple, and convenient place for our one week vacation in Carlsbad. We wish they would stock some additional basic spices for cooking. They only provided some coffee and tea, and salt and pepper.

Wonderful vacation location for our family!

The condo was in a perfect location. It was just a block from the ocean, and a convenient walk to the town. The management was extremely helpful if we had any questions. They even would replace supplies if we wer running out, such as Kleenex, toilet paper, garbage bags and laundry detergent! We had access to a laundry room and the machines were free of charge. In a world where we seem like we are nickled and domed to death, this place is extraordinary in its generosity! We also felt the rental fee was reasonable.

Excellent location!

The accommodations were very nice, updated appliances, everything you would need. The beds were really comfortable with nice linens, and the air conditioners in each bedroom worked really well (no A/C in the living area). The only "hiccup" we had was the electronic lock on the front door...it was acting flakey and we had a few issues locking and unlocking the door, but the owner was very responsive, and gave us a traditional key to use in the meantime, until they got it fixed. Overall, it was a great trip!

Had a great stay!

This is a small property tucked away but VERY close to the beach (just across the street). It feels basically like a suite in a hotel but you have a full kitchen. Not all parking is covered (which was a bummer for us because it rained most of the time we were there) but we were grateful to have parking at all. The floors always felt sandy but that's to be expected with such a beach-adjacent property. Linens were clean and towels plentiful. Beds were pretty standard in terms of comfort. Check in process very easy - they text you with the door code. You can text that same number and they will respond very quickly to any questions you may have. Was so happy to learn that there was literally no check-out process, ie. you don't have to take out the garbage or strip the beds.
