Just a short stroll to the beach, shopping, and dining. This is the perfect beach retreat you and your guests have been looking for!

A Shore Thing is the updated beach home you and your guests are looking for! This classic beach cottage has been redone to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

There are 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, hardwood floors, and all the deck space you could want. The den and kitchen have a large eat-in area, and there is a large sun deck with built-in seating great for meals as well! You will also find an oversized screened-in porch to relax on and enjoy the ocean breeze. There is a large flat-screen TV in the downstairs den, there is also a sleeper sofa in the coffee/reading room, great for guests that want to spread out.

On the lower level, there are three bedrooms, each with a queen. One of these bedrooms is the master bedroom with its private bathroom and large walk-in closet. The other 2 queen bedrooms share a jack-and-jill bathroom, and one is equipped with a wet bar. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has 2 bunk beds with an attached bathroom, and the 2nd bedroom has 2 twins with a private bathroom.

With a location like this the options for activities to experience while here are endless!

Parking instructions:
Off street parking for 4 vehicles. Any additional vehicles that do not fit at the property must park in paid public parking.

INCLUDED: WIFI, fully stocked kitchen, paper goods, and ALL linens, including all bedding + bath + beach towels to save you the hassle/cost of renting them separately ($200-300+ value)! When you arrive, beds will be made with crisp, fresh linens and complete sets of fluffy towels will be available. Beach cart and toys, cooler, boogie boards, and bikes are included for your enjoyment!

You must be 25 years or older to rent this property.

Sea Scape requires that all reservations have a signed rental agreement that will be sent to you via text message after booking. Once you've booked your stay, you will have 48 hrs. to complete the rental agreement to confirm your stay. Sea Scape reserves the right to cancel your booking if the rental agreement is not completed within 48hrs.

This is a wonderful house. As in title, the location is great - right near the beach and the canal, close to restaurants etc. But the star is the house - perfect for a group, lots of places to hang out with people or catch a little alone time, from comfy chairs to a hammock, huge table for dinner together inside or out, and a few separate living rooms to chill. Comms with mgt team excellent. Only suggestion was the outdoor furniture needed a wipe down before our arrival.

Our 2022 WB Vacation

This is a lovely old house that has been upgraded over the years. Everything was clean and the house is well equipped. Having the kitchen on the second floor took some getting used to. The noise from North Lumina wasn't as bad as we had expected. We appreciated the beach equipment that was available for our use. We missed having an outside clothesline on which to dry our bathing suits and towels.

Quaint but roomy beach cottage

Enjoyed our weekend stay here with 4 other couples and didn’t feel too crowded. We easily walked to the beach, restaurants etc. The table was great for serving a big group, and we especially enjoyed the upstairs deck.

We loved our stay here. It had so much charm and many alcoves of rooms within the house. SO many porches, too!! It was awesome that we property was a short walk from retail/restaurants and right down the street from the beach.

Would be a 5 with a few upgrades

Location is perfect. Many amenities - nice grill, bikes, beach towels and chairs. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable. Large porches, decks, kitchen table. All pluses! However, the owners need to fix or replace the dishwasher. Somehow dishes come out of it dirtier and greasier than when the machine was loaded. This is a negative when you are on vacation and especially with a home full of 11 people! We are on vacation and do not want to hand wash all those dishes. I noticed this on previous reviews and thought that of course it would have been fixed by now. No! It's a pain. Pocket doors in master bedroom are very heavy, do not slide easily, and thus are very loud. A definite negative when you are sharing a room. Very disappointed in how management dealt with the one issue we had during our stay. About 11 Pm one night we discovered all the outlets in the kitchen were out. We had not been home so do not know how long they were out. But this meant the refrigerator had no power. We called the management number and were told they would report it to Brittany and cautioned us to keep our refrigerator door closed. We looked all over the house for the circuit breaker and asked this question of the management person I spoke with. No one reached out until 8 AM the next morning! A maintenance man came by and pulled the painting off the wall by the kitchen table and the circuit breaker was behind that. Fixed in 30 seconds. We could have easily fixed this problem and thrown the switch the night before if someone had just returned my call. Would be a good idea to provide that information in the book about the house. We had a good week. Enjoyed our time. Will consider returning if assured the dishwasher and doors have been addressed.

Even better in person! This location couldn't be better with access to the beach in front and the best spot to watch the sunset in the back. Highly recommend Sea Scape Properties for the ease of booking this vacation home, they went above and beyond to meet our needs!

Great for groups

We rented this for a group of friends. The set up fir what we needed was perfect. Multiple porches, amazing dining table for gatherings, cute coffee/tea prep area. It has the beach cottage feel I love. One fro t room needed attention to an odor but I contacted seascape and they were going to look into it. Overall, a great house.

Close to the beach - great for larger groups - outdoor spaces!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this house is amazing given it’s right at a public access. We also loved the various outdoor living spaces (screened in porch, seconds floor porch with hammock, rooftop sitting with firepit. It’s great for larger groups / family (and not just in bedrooms but in sitting areas, eating areas, etc.). There are numerous amenities - they had an outdoor foosball table, firepit, grill, hammock, kids toys, Roku TVs in most rooms, and all of the beach gear you could imagine (bicycles, chairs, umbrellas, toys, wagon, etc.). A few improvements could be made to make this a 5-star rental: fix the dishwasher (had to hand wash mostly as the top rack did not clean and bottom rack struggled), fix ice maker (maybe 6 cubes every 3-4 hours), ensure all lights work / are bright and fix the shutters (almost every wooden shutter was broken making it hard to open / close). Adding a water filtration system could likely solve the dishwasher / ice maker issues and also remove the strong “beach water” smell and taste - making it drinkable / more pleasant. I’d also recommend floor mats for the bathrooms.

There were very nice beach chairs, towels, bikes, games etc. The kitchen table is massive and we enjoyed not only eating there but playing games with the family. The location was perfect...close to town and the beach and we would definitely stay here again! I would, however, recommend that the cleaning crew leave the ice machine on so when guests arrive, the ice is ready. Also, the outside deck needs to be sprayed for bugs. The biggest complaint in the group of 12 is that we should have stayed another night! Thank you!
