This is your opportunity to dive into a 2/1 inside a very peaceful and family oriented tropical community. Master bedroom has a queen bed with Tv. The other bedroom has a twin bed with Tv. There is a sofa/slepper in the living room with Tv and small dinner table. This wonderful property offers a full outdoor kitchen and bbq area with oven stove, a full size refrigerator and sink. A dining table, Tv and sitting area outside to enjoy the beautiful weather under a fully covered outdoor area. Gated community 24 hour security.

Park has a heated pool, basketball court, tennis court, children's playground, boat ramp/marina and 2 laundry rooms. A food truck by the pool and offers the option for you to purchase Ice and propane on site.

Additional Security Deposit of $250.00 will be collected by the office at the time of check in, deposit will be refundable at check out if there are no damages to the property.

Guest must check in the office for the vehicle and boat decals.

You are allowed to bring a boat or a jet ski no more than 25ft. The office requires that the boat or jet ski registration matches the name of the renter and a valid ID must be provided.

The campground charges $10.00 per person and all visitors.

Great location, nice little vacation getaway

This mobile home is very cute, doable for two adults and a teenager, and the outdoor living area is absolutely fantastic. The kitchen is workable for small meals and snacks. The bathroom is very small, but is expected in a mobile home. We enjoyed how close to everything this is! Communication with the owner was outstanding. He is so pleasant and extremely responsive - we couldn't figure out how to work the outside TV and he helped us clear it up immediately.

Hard to complain in the FL Keys

For an affordable place to stay, we were satisfied. Many things took us by surprise, however, so maybe this review along with the others will prove useful for future renters. Upon arriving to the RV campground, we had about a 30 minute way filling out paperwork and paying the additional 10 fee. If you haven’t applied bug spray before this, now’s the time. Once inside the gates, we learned how populated this area is, but near the water and some might say cozy. We didn’t spend too much time at the rental, but we still needed to purchase basic supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap. There wasn’t enough bedding for the futon couch to be used for this 6-person setup (we had 5). The outdoor kitchen and living area is where it’s at, thoughtfully setup and comfortable. Yes, there are neighbors in every direction but everyone kept to themselves and there weren’t any major disturbances. The small waterfront area with hammocks was a nice touch. The taco truck was never open so we didn’t partake in that amenity. The pool was a major highlight for our kids, but it was murky and quite small, so we waited out the crowds and made the best of it.

I did read some concerns you expressed and will touch on the ones I can control like : there is enough basic supplies left by the cleaning crew to welcome you in. Depending on your use of those basic supplies will determine how quickly you will need to go out and get. The beds all have enough sheets for up to 6 ppl and can sleep up to 6ppl. All the other concerns are out of our hands but have been brought up to the property manger to assure more smiles.... Thank you for your stay.

Overall as Expected

Overall our stay was as expected, but started out on the wrong foot. The property manager contacted me the day before saying to let him know when we arrived. I sent him a text when we were about 10 minutes out, about 6pm, which was well after check-in time. We sat at the gate for a bit waiting for the previous arrival to be checked in. When it was our turn, the guard asked for our unit number we still didn't know ot. He did find our paperwork and gave us the unit number, bit he didn't have the lockbox code. The cleaning people hadn't put away the key in the lockbox properly and we were able to get inside. Gonzalo did finally contact us about 15 minutes after we were in.I've rented through VRBO many times, usually this information is given 24 hours in advance, or at least after the previous guests have left.The RV was clean, updated, matched the pictures. We didn't have any more issues. The "beach"/hammock area on the waterfront was a very nice place to hang out. The food truck was never open during our stay, so I cannot write to that. The menu looked good. The pool was excellent, slighty heated, really just perfect.

It is evident that the property owners have updated this park model. Paint and flooring does look very nice. The stove and microwave in the trailer did not work. Instead of taking them out and replacing them they stacked a working microwave on the stove under the non-working microwave which did not leave much room. There is a nice set up outside but if it's raining you are outside. Two of the burners did not light on the stove and the burners were getting bad on the grill. There were 2 forks and no washcloths and no storage containers for leftovers. The biggest issue was the cockroaches that came out to visit us the second night we were there. I had bought groceries and put them in the kitchen closet. The second night I opened the door to the closet to find cockroaches in our food. As I was throwing away the food that they had gotten into I found the cockroach trap that the homeowners put in the back of the closet. At this point all of our luggage had been exposed so we just tried to make the best of it by hiding our food in the microwave and refrigerator. I had to rewash every kitchen item when I wanted to use it because the cockroaches were pooping all over. You could see it in the closet and in the drawers. They were in the living room and the bathroom also. I contacted the homeowner, and they claim that they have never had cockroaches and they have not had complaints about any of the things that I brought to their attention. Never Again will I rent from them!!!

We are sorry about your experience but please allow us to clarify some things. We wish you would have contacted us during your NINE NIGHT stay to correct any issues. But you reached out after unfortunately. We will address all your concerns point by point. 1) Indoor Gas Stove- This indoor stove has always been disconnected for safety reasons. For that reason we provide a full outdoor kitchen with covering incase it rains. 2) You are correct that the microwave that is installed does not work, but we provided a working microwave and placed it on top of the disconnected stove so that our guests can have a microwave indoors until the correct replacement microwave arrives as it is a special order and is not in stock. 3) Not sure what you meant with the reference to the rain as the whole outdoor area is completely covered and has no leaks. 4) You claim that 2 of the outside burners did not turn on. This is incorrect. After your departure the property was inspected and the burners did indeed turn on. We have had guest before and after your stay and both were able to use the burners correctly. If you did not know how to turn the burner on, you could have reached out directly to us and we would have been more than happy to help 5) You claim that the other 2 burners were getting bad? That is inaccurate as all 4 burners are in good condition and work correctly. 6) You stated that we only left TWO forks? This is also incorrect as we left a whole drawer full of utensils for our guests use. Again, maybe you did not see them which is very difficult but you could have reached out to us during your stay and we would have pointed out where the utensils were. Not once during your stay did you mention anything 7) You claim that there was also no wash cloths? This is also incorrect as we left plenty of wash cloths along with plenty of towels. You could have reached out at any point during your stay if you didn't "find" them for some reason. But they were all stored in plain view. 8) You stated that we did not leave you storage containers for left overs? This is not our responsibility and no where did we state that we would. 9) You stated that you found cockroach traps? Those cockroach traps are placed for preventative measures being that we are in South Florida and so close to the water. At no point have we ever had a roach infestation and never received any complaints about this. 10) You claimed to have found roaches in your food- This may be due to improperly storing opened food. You stated you did not have containers and left food out instead of storing it in the fridge. Which is still odd as we did not find any roaches when we inspected the home after your stay. Please allow me to address the fact that after your stay, we inspected the property and found a mess with trash and different things thrown around. This may explain why there was a roach issue during your stay. We hate that we have to put this information out there but this vacation home has always been kept clean and functioning for our guest to enjoy. We have had guests before you and after you and never had any of these kinds of complaints. We are sorry you are not happy but we do not feel as if your review paints a true picture of our vacation home. Also, if there were any inconveniences you could have reached out during your 9 NIGHT stay to express them and we would have helped you resolve them. Thank you

4 Days on Key Largo

We were very comfortable staying at this property. It was quite nice to have numerous on-line streaming services already in place so we didn't have to provide our own log-ins. Directions for use of some items might have been nice, but we were able to figure out most issues. Well equipped and very nice pool.

Beautiful Home Away From Home

My family and I just returned from our 5 nights here at Calusa Campground at Gonzalo’s home away from home! The property was recently renovated and is completely furnished with everything we needed for a weeks stay! The property was beautiful! We enjoyed cooking outside and spending our evenings watching a movie outside! We utilized the playground and the pool on the property every day! Our daughters age 3 and 4 absolutely loved this place! We loved watching the sunset at the dock along with seeing manatees swim up to the dock! We look forward to visiting again next year! Thank you Gonzales for everything you did for us, you made this experience very easy for all of us!

Family and friends vacation

Our stay was great. The outdoor kitchen and dining area was fantastic and where we spent most of our time when we were at the rental. Everything we needed was there even a couple bikes. Only downside is Friday and Saturday nights got a little noisy lot of loud music from golf carts and cars cruising until around midnight. Check in people were rude at the office but didn’t have to deal with them except for checking in. Overall would recommend. We did use the pool at the mobile home park and it was very nice also great view of sunset from there. And there was a food truck there on the weekend that had excellent Mexican food.

This is a very nice way to find out if you can move to the Keys and live retirement life. The outside area is very functional and pretty but the neighbors are RIGHT there! Inside is clean and tight. We had a good time and was able to do and go as we wanted.

My family of 6 enjoyed staying here while in key largo. It was a great central location and close to rainbow reef dive center where they were getting certified. The AC worked great and kept us cool in the July heat. I loved the ice machine outside to fill up our hydroflasks daily. The washer and dryer inside the trailer was great to catch up on laundry while on vacation for 3 weeks. My teens liked being in their own room at night to decompress and unwind on their phones.

Hey all, we stayed here on April 1st - April 6th. The place is as described and was perfect for my family. We had a total of 6, my husban, our 2 dogs, my mother in law, sister in law, and myself. The place was clean, and enough space for all of us, even though we we had adventures everyday and were not there much. The place has 24 hour security. There is a great collection of cookware outside and the three burner grill was perfect for making breakfast. Make sure you pack in your own spices, towels, and dish soap. If we come back to Key Largo, will definitely stay here again. Enjoy!

De caravan is klein, maar je hebt veel buitenruimte in de schaduw

weinig ruimte binnen met bijvoorbeeld maar 2 stoelen en een piepklein tafeltje. De ruimte buiten was echter erg groot met een grote eettafel met 6 stoelen. De ruimte buiten was erg fijn. De locatie was super!
