One-of-a-Kind, Lakefront House Near the Ritz, Sandbar & Boathouse!

This renovated lakefront home was designed with family fun in mind! Whether its swimming, kayaking, watching movies in the basement, laying in a hammock, snuggling next to the fireplace or roasting s'mores around the fire pit.

The house is situated in a cozy, safe cove with a large dock from which to enjoy the lake. Great views of open water from lot. Home is ideally located on desirable Richland side of lake offering clearest waters and only a two minute boat ride from either the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Resort or the infamous Lake Oconee sandbar. This is the most sought after location on the Lake!

The main floor features 20-feet-high ceilings, wood floors and a wall of windows overlooking the lake. The family living area includes a fireplace, mounted TV, dining area and furnishings pulled together with a decorator's eye. Fully equipped and updated kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, microwave, ice-maker, dishwasher and coffee maker. Kitchen utensils, linens and towels are provided ... even beach towels are made available.

The master suite upstairs has its own full bath and loft reading area with love seat. Master bed is a California king and bedroom includes two built-in twin beds for families with little ones. Two bedrooms are located on the main floor, both with queen beds.

The basement has a huge living area, fireplace, and the fourth bedroom. It includes a foosball table for family fun. The fourth bedroom two bunk beds, each with two twin beds. The basement opens up to the patio with a fire pit overlooking the lake.

Just outside the basement door is a storage room full of fun toys such as tubes, noodles, kayaks and life jackets. Help yourselves!

This home is the perfect getaway for couples, families, guys or girls weekends. Beyond the lake, this location offers many nearby attractions such as: top-rated golf courses in Georgia, luxurious Ritz spa, University of Georgia football, historic town of Madison, Augusta National Golf Club and outstanding nearby restaurants.

Note: Please advise host if you are planning to rent or bring a boat to dock at the house. We limit boats to those under 22 feet due to the positioning of our dock. Please inquire with owner should you have any questions.

Move trash bin next to street for pick up
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Beautiful stay!

We enjoyed our time so much at Lake Oconee. The lake is absolutely beautiful and sophisticated in the surrounding areas. Our check-in and checkout was great. The house was everything as advertised and more and we would definitely stay here again. Our family of five stayed for 16 days and had lots of fun fishing from the dock, boating and tubing.

Great for the whole family

We were delighted with this home on a quiet cove, it’s proximity to dining options/Publix/boat rental, the beauty of the area and the courteous and responsive communications of the owner. Our kids loved the daily routine of kayaking from the dock and our card games on the deck. We would surely return for another stay here on Lake Oconee.

Our family was traveling for a wedding in Georgia and found this amazing lake house. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for everyone to unwind and relax. We all gravitated to the dock where we were able to just disconnect from technology and laugh and make memories. The host was very responsive and provided great information about the area. Since we came from so far away, that was extremely useful to us! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing home away from home!

Mother/Daughter trip to Lake Oconee

This house was perfect for our mother/daughter trip to the lake for a long weekend. The layout of the house worked great for our group. The kids enjoyed the bunk room and games available in the basement. The quiet cove where the house is located was great for relaxing on a raft or kayaking. The owner was also very responsive to any questions that we had. We will definitely be returning in the future!

4th of July !

The house was a great fit for us, with our children and grandchildren. Everyone had their own space and bathrooms. It was nice being in the quiet cove. Plenty of room for everyone to sit around and eat and visit. Great firepit where we roasted smores! My boys enjoyed the foosball and grandson enjoyed the toys downstairs. Neighbors were very nice. Owner had excellent communication and responded quickly. The only thing I would suggest is a good pressure washing of the house and patio cushions. We hope to rent again! Had a great time!

Family friendly lake house

We loved our stay - grandparents, parents, and four kids aged 5-11. Easy drive from Atlanta. The house was fully stocked with all of the basics - and more! The lower level with the bunk beds was perfect for children - so many games and toys. We loved the kayaks and tubes. My in-laws loved the two minute boat ride to the Ritz. And we all loved the view of the lake from the living room windows and on the porch. Alfredo was extremely helpful and did all he could to ensure we had a great vacation. We hope to return!

The property met and even exceeded our expectations. There were no surprises, it was everything promised in the advert. Truthfully the pictures did not do the property justices....breathtaking in person. owner meticulously laid out all information needed for a pleasant experience. Relax and Unwind

My family visited Alfredo’s property for a five nights stay. The location in the cove of the lake is perfect if you have small children and want to avoid boat traffic. We found the layout of the house particularly helpful, because each branch of the family could have a floor with some privacy. This house is full of fun with a ping pong table, multiple games, and foosball. The outdoor fire pit is great for a night of s’mores and chatting. We loved the family-friendly set up, and our host was there for everything we needed. I would book this property again.

The property is great for those who have children who can sleep in the bunk beds. The downstairs was a great inside play area for the children too. The grands enjoyed the water toys purchased from Amazon. They were able to raft, kayak on their inflatable rafts and paddle board on their inflatable paddle board. Being able to use our boat was great so they also could ski and tube. Morning, afternoon and evening boat rides were enjoyed by young and old! Enjoyed the fire pit and made s’mores! Owner was available via texts if needed and left lots of helpful information.

Memorial day family fun

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The home was clean, spacious, and exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the view was even better in person. Communication with the host was easy—they were responsive and helpful with local recommendations. We bought this property in 2014 after spending the previous 7 years vacationing at Lake Oconee with our family and enjoying everything the area offers. When the opportunity presented itself to purchase a home, we knew exactly the part of the Lake they wanted to be on and seized the chance to purchase this home and make it our own through various updates and renovations. Since then, this home has become a sanctuary to make memories at Lake Oconee and we look forward to sharing the beauty and peace of this setting with you.

Why they chose this property

The property is strategically located in a private and safe cove away from weekend boaters. This allows you and your family to enjoy the lake with tranquility. The Richland side of the Lake offers some of the best water and it is also convenient to the Ritz and sandbar by boat. The home has been updated and offers all the amenities we wanted to have in a lakehouse.

This home was purchased as a second home instead of being just an investment property. We treat and care for it as our home and trust that it shows. We use it regularly as we are nearby in Atlanta but are delighted to share it with others at times that we are unable to be there.
