This was our third year in a row staying at this beautiful home. For our family it’s the perfect location to get to Traverse Bay and Torch Lake. The kids love walking the trails and playing in the yard. Can’t wait to book again next year!

From the owner: "Thank you for loving our farmhouse as we do, and we welcome you back next year."
Vacationing from Canada, our family loved this farmhouse in a quiet area not far from Traverse City. We visited 5 different lakes all within a short drive and loved every one, especially Torch Lake! The property has everything a family needs for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Farmhouse
This was our 4th time staying here, and again absolutely amazing! Welcomed by the best cherry pie we have ever had! Everything spotless and so comfortable! This is our up north go to place! Thanks again for the great hospitality!
Wonderful house in a quaint area of upper Michigan. Great place to rest your head after a long day in traverse city or torch lake. Very comfortable, clean and homey. Kids loved the yard to play and the “trails” to walk on together.
Booking our next stay the same day we checked out!
It was the best VRBO experience so far! The home was amazing, exactly as described, and spotless. You won't find many that greet you with a homemade cherry pie that was the best I have ever had. This home and stay deserve more than five stars!
Beautiful home!! Our family enjoyed our stay at the farm!!! We have driven past this property during deer season for many many years. Look forward to our next stay at the farm!!!
It was a wonderful time for family to start a new tradition. Been rifle hunting in the area for over 50 years. First time muzzleloader hunting with 4 generations!!
Thank you for providing your home to our family!!

"The Farmhouse", as the property is referred, was just that. A wonderful quite small home that has been updated with modern kitchen and bath. It is literally on a farm with a huge yard, barn and a nixe patio. In both mornings there were deer. Diners and bars are about 10-15 minute drive. Loved the property. The living room is stuffed with overstuffed chairs and sofa. Iwould have preferred something less stuffed to sit on, but the sofa could easily be used as an additional bed.
We enjoyed this little farmhouse. The hosts are so sweet. We were welcomed with a loaf of banana bread on the counter and they had water bottles and a few selections of drinks in the fridge and snacks in the cupboard. The house was clean and the beds and furniture were comfortable. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Sweet farm house
The home was clean, modern and ver comfortable. Modern appliancesbut very homey oldschool vibe. It was just as if it were my home. In the morning there were deer in the very large grassy back yard. Easy access to local cities. Very nice place. I was alone, but the house could easily have handled 3 or 4.
Overall we were very happy and satisfied with this little farmhouse. We have stayed at many vacation homes and this was one of our favorites. You can really tell the owners enjoy hosting people and that it’s not only a business to them. Here are some things we loved about the home: first of all we really enjoyed the delicious fresh zucchini bread that welcomed us right when we walked in. Also, the home was very clean and well stocked with snacks, drinks, plenty of toiletries and paper products for our week long stay. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to cook/bake. The appliances were new and very nice which made cooking very easy. The living room furniture was extremely comfortable and the overall lay out of the home was perfect for our family of three with a 4 year old. We also loved seeing all the farm animals and even took advantage of the beautiful red barn to take some family photos. We definitely will be back and would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a “home away from home” for their next Michigan vacation!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
This was exactly what our family needed for the new year. Perfect secluded location yet close to Traverse City. Clean and well stocked little farmhouse. We enjoyed the homemade treats upon arrival and the flexibility with times. The farm yard walks and animal viewing were a bonus. The owner even arranged for us to have ESPN on the tv so we didn’t miss the big game. All around, completely satisfied. Thank you so much!
My family of 3 stayed at the farmhouse for a stressful weekend. When we arrived there was a fresh cherry pie, drinks, and snacks. The part of the house with stairs could be closed to prevent my 2 year old from climbing. Would stay again and recommend!

Really charming farmhouse
This is an old, but updated, farmhouse on a great piece of land with a red barn in the back. My kids read to the cows every evening. The family who owns the house is wonderful. They took us on a tour of the farm, let us pet the animals and left us a pie upon arrival. Check in was very easy. It’s secluded. Internet was very good. Cell service was spotty in the area. My only real complaint is the water is hard. Very hard, but that shouldn’t deter you. This place is amazing, and I’d love to come back!

Feels like home
My family and I recently stayed here and it was the best experience we've had with any house rentals. It was very clean, well decorated and felt like home. The owner was very kind and had a wonderful cherry pie waiting for us upon arrival. We look forward to staying here again next year!
The property, like the host, are tremendous. However, our stay could’ve been slightly improved had the WiFi been operable. I strongly recommend this home.
