The Hacienda Casita in Boquete

(May through October we offer discounts on extended stays. Please inquire ) The Casita is an exquisite, private, "stand alone" cottage located amidst the lush banana forest and manicured gardens of The Hacienda . The efficiency apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace overlooking the gardens and creek. There is a bathroom with luxury towels and a hot water rain shower. There is a new queen bed with and luxurious linens, a dining area and a love seat. You'll find yoga mats, umbrellas, cloth shopping bags, flashlights, extra blankets, shampoo, cream rinse, shower gel and a hair dryer.

The kitchen has a drip coffee maker, French coffee press, electric kettle, toaster, blender, rice maker, plates, bowls, glasses, cups, silverware, pots and pans, bake wear, assorted mixing bowls, plastic food saver containers, napkins, paper towels, extra trash bags and dish and kitchen towels, dish soap. We provide some coffee and tea to get you started.

Explore the Hacienda complex with walk-ways, terraces and benches and pots of assorted succulents, orchids and bromeliads. Meditation benches line the creek for quiet contemplation or meaningful conversation. Bring your morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

The Hacienda is a 10-minute drive from downtown Boquete. Walk downhill from The Hacienda to the village center in 25 minutes. A taxi is generally $6 per trip.

The Hacienda is located half way up the Jaramillo Mountain in the Jaramilllo Centro area of Panama. We are a 10 minute drive from downtown Boquete. The village center is a 25 minute hike downhill. Let us help you with airport pick-ups in David.

This is home away from home in Jaramilo Centro, Boquete. Relaxing, cool climate and beautiful host. Worth the drive up the curvy road to the B&B. Our two week stay was fabulous. 👍👍👍👍❤

The Casita was exactly as advertised, it was clean spacious, and very "homey". The hosts were excellent and communicated on a regular basis. Quincy also provided advice on several houses we were looking at in the area. It also had a beautiful botanical garden. One could tell the building of it was a labor of love and it was very creative. We would go back there in a moment! We would be happy to personally share our experience

The Casita is emerged in nature in a secluded location with beautiful views and a creek running through the property. Great tranquil place on the grounds of hacienda. I love the place, but finding it I was challenging.

The Hacienda is a jewel in the hills of Jaramillo Centro. We love the beauty of the manicured grounds and sounds of the flowing water creeks. We enjoyed the proximity of the town of Boquete with all the amenities and restaurants. The hosts are absolutely awesome with their attention to detail & warmth.

Words cannot describe how beautiful this property is. The flowers and plants in the yard are unbelievable! The hosts have put a lot of work into creating and maintaining this property. The apartment is above and beyond what we expected. They are very nice people. We would definitely come back for another stay.

Beautiful casita in Jaramillo

We had an excellent stay in the casita. The property is beautiful. And the host is very helpful. You are surrounded by nature. The views surrounding the property are breathtaking. The casita has a fully equipped kitchen. We cooked nearly all our meals there. I would 100% recommend the casita for any couple travelling to Boquete, Panama

5 stars is not enough for this gem of a property. Above and beyond any and all expectations. Equipped and stocked with everything you could possibly need, and more. From the sheets and towels to the cooking and dining ware, it's all there and of the nicest quality. Multiple pages of laminated Information of things to do, places to eat, and maps to get you there. Ciella & Quincy thought of everything and were so very easy to make arrangements with and are super nice folks. Don't leave without strolling the garden path on the property, it is an absolutely gorgeous labor of love with amazing views at the end. About 10 minutes from town, but feels like a world away. Highly recommend and will definitely return if in the Boquete area again.

Hosts You Want to Adopt You

We couldn't have asked for a nicer introduction to Boquete. Quincy came to pick us up after a long day on two buses and a hasty dash through the local grocery for supplies. He drove us up a 45 degree "shortcut" to the hacienda and safely deposited us in our new home away from home. Even though our package was not B&B, we were invited to breakfast before Ciella drove us south of town so we could pick up our rental vehicle. Obviously a 45 degree angle shortcut means the hacienda is on the high ground and it is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and a tumbling creek that keeps you wondering whether it is raining or not. The accommodations worked great for us and you couldn't ask for more gracious hosts. We are post sixty travelers and recommend this spot to everyone.

Casita par excellence wonderfully romantic magical

I could not imagine the beauty. Much more magnificent in person. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed including refrigerator, stove 32 inch tv, high speed internet. The creek was in full swing with the sound so soothing. Waterfall seen from the terrace and walkways were extraordinary. The banana plantation was so lush and filled with exotic lilies, orchids, bromeliads, ferns. The bedding was elegant and a dream to sleep on. Bathroom contained a glass block wall with a fine spray hot shower. The terrace deck leaned out over the creek and waterfalls. The hidden deck was totally private and lush. Breakfast was extra and so worth it. Yogurt, juice, sweet breads, frittata and English muffins and Virginia ham. OMG I was one of the first to stay here after staying at there other properties before. This is the best. Don't miss this treasure.

Lovely spot, great little Casita

Overall we loved our stay here, however, there were several small things that added up in the 10 days we stayed. Our hosts Quincy and Celia were away when we first arrived and they entrusted our arrival to a friend who hadn't been properly prepared. The WiFi was not working, the local cell phone neither. There was no coffee for the morning (as promised) and it is long ride into town. Later in the week the door lock stopped functioning as well. We were able to get in touch and they were very responsive trying to fix things, calling us back many times. The Casita is new, fresh, well appointed with everything and feels nicely separate from the main house. It is only a few months old and there is still a shakedown cruise in process but we would recommend it highly.

You are in the mountains in a rural area of Panama, so you might have a power outage for a few minutes, but the hosts have provided lanterns for the few moments the power goes out.

We decided to construct The Hacienda Casita to add to our accommodations. I am an avid gardener and The Hacienda gives me the opportunity to indulge in my favorite activity while creating a lovely space for guests to rest and relax. My husband personally observed every detail of construction and renovation of this entire property. He and I love to boogie board, hike and enjoy wonderful fresh organic food. We love hosting travelers from all over the world. We have lived in Boquete for 20 years. The amazing people, culture and beauty kerp us right here.

Why they chose this property

The Hacienda Casita is uniquely situated in an area where manicured gardens, wild jungle fauna and banana forest collide. We are 10 minutes by car or a 20 minute hike from village center but the area feels secluded and very private.
It is not in a development and is a bit wild and untamed. We have lived here for 20 years and really know the area well and are very willing to assist our guests. We are here to serve your needs.

What makes this property unique

The Hacienda has extraordinary peace and serenity in a glorious garden setting. All rooms are decorated beautifully with luxurious sheets and towels. It is cozy and beautiful with owners who live right on the premises and love hosting guests from all over the world. Hike, take tours and play all day and then come home to The Hacienda and enjoy a great nights rest on a very comfortable mattress.
