VILLA VAHIMANUI is located hillside 100ft (30 meters) above sea level and only 160 ft (50 meters) from the lagoon. This very exclusive Villa overlooking the crystal blue waters of the lagoon offers incredible romantic sunsets as well as a lot of privacy making it the perfect spot for both honeymooners and families.

This unique 1200 square-foot (110 m2) home is part of a famous luxury complex started by Marlon Brando and Jack Nicholson. The villa accomodation includes 2 bedrooms with air conditioning, 1 bathroom, a modern full kitchen fit for a chef, a living room and a large covered terrace-lanai overlooking the lagoon.

The interior of this luxury wooden built house is particularly roomy thanks to a cathedral ceiling with a spacious living room and one of the bedrooms opened into it allowing exclusive views right from your king sized bed.

Tahiti, the port of entry of French Polynesia is linked by non stop scheduled flights to Los Angeles, NZ, Japan, Hawaii, Australia and with one stop to Paris and most European cities. From Tahiti, a 45-minute-flight takes you to Bora Bora.
There are 2 domestic airline companies in French Polynesia: Air Tahiti and Air Moana. Both airlines link Tahiti with Bora Bora. You can directly book your flights online on their dedicated website.

The plane from Tahiti lands in Bora Bora on Motu Mute, an offshore islet.Then a free shuttle brings you across the lagoon to VAITAPE, Bora Bora's main village. On the wharf in Vaitape, you will pick up your rental car and drive in 15 minutes to our house.

CAR RENTAL
Because there is no public transport service on Bora Bora, you need to rent a car to be independant on the island during your stay . It is essential to go shopping, to go to the restaurant or to visit Bora Bora. You can directly book your rental car online on AVIS car rental website which is the most reliable car rental company in Bora Bora. I don't recommend renting an electric car because there are no electric charging points near the parking lot of our house. I also don't recommend renting scooters because they are not powerful enough to get to our upper parking lot and it is very difficult to carry your food purchase on a scooter to the house.

Unbelievable view, just like in the listing, from the balcony and through the huge set of windows facing the ocean. The place was huge and spotlessly clean. The owner provided much excellent information before and during our stay, which was extremely helpful and generous. I would definitely stay here again!

The views from the terrace over the lagoon are truly spectacular. The Villa is very spacious - especially as we were only 2 using the facilities.It is simply but adequately decorated and the kitchen has an appropriate level of equipment for a holiday stay. The steep stairs up to the property would be challenging for less able guests. Pierre was very responsive to a couple of small issues we had during our stay. The villa is around a 20 minute drive from the wharf and the neighbourhood is very quiet. Guests will definitely need a car to get around the island

Well equipped villa at a fantastic location

Overall a brilliant place to stay with everything needed. Only issue was there were dead ants in the kitchen but these were vacuumed using the vacuum provided. Communication with Pierre was great and the views across the lagoon were breathtaking.

Pierre was VERY thorough and accommodating. The views of this house are absolutely amazing. The inside is perfect for a family. The communication with the host was nothing short of perfect. He was very ubderstanding, curtious and helpful. We would reccomend this house to everyone! This was our fourth stay at Pierre’s house, and we love it more each time! The view from the house is absolutely breathtaking — truly the best. The apartment itself is beautifully equipped, spotless, and peaceful. We had a lovely stay here! My boyfriend and I were looking for a peaceful retreat and definitely found it here. All of the conveniences that you need and Pierre is a most attentive host. He has great recommendations on places to go and visit that made our trip even that more memorable. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer:)

Beautiful cottage on Bora Bora

We loved our two week stay at Pierre’s beautiful cottage! We rented a car and had full access to activities during the day, then returned to our cottage oasis and enjoyed the spectacular view of the lagoon from the peaceful covered porch. Thank you Pierre for your wonderful hospitality!

Immaculate villa with stunning views

Our family of 4 had an amazing holiday in Bora Bora thanks to the wonderful villa overlooking the lagoon, and extremely helpful owner Pierre. Even a lovely local picked a bunch of bananas off his tree and gave them to us after our morning swim in the beautiful bright blue Lagoon. The property and the view was very nice.

The property and the view were very nice. We staid 5 nights. The only problem it is on the other side of the Island and if you want to eat or do any grocery shopping or go to the beach you have to drive around 20 - 25 minutes each way. So must be organized. Again, nothing wrong with the place, just be sure you have a car.

Second Stay in this villa

This was our second stay at this house. It has a wonderful view from inside the house and also on the patio. It also has a sunset view. It is well-equipped and has beach towels. There is a washer and dryer. The bedrooms have a/c which is needed, as the house can get very hot during the day. This time none of the tour operators would pick us up from the pier so we had to drive to town to get picked up.

Very clean place, and the owner is very responsive. He is patient with questions. The view is amazing. The convenience of the car rental and the fact that he arranges for your pick and drop off is much appreciaited. There are screens on the windows, so it is fun to keep them open. the air conditioning was a real plus in Febuary!

The condo was awesome. We are packing up to leave today and I am already planning to come back. The owner gave us all the information we needed. The taxi was waiting for us when we arrived. The hosts met us and helped with luggage, gave us tour of condo so we would know where everything was. The view is gorgeous, the furnishings comfortable. There are steep stairs but we were able to navigate an we are in our 50's. I highly recommend this Condo.

Great Rental Property in Bora Bora

We had a great experience renting this property for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon to French Polynesia. The rental car included was super convenient and allowed easy access to Matira Beach, the grocery store and restaurants. The property itself has a spectacular view although not much of a beach onsite. Pierre is super detailed and great to work with. He arranged for our pickup at the airport and had many good recommendations for restaurants and activities during our stay. We would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to experience Bora Bora while avoiding the outrageous prices that many hotels charge.

Best view and beautiful home!!

The Villa from Pierre was just amazing!! The view is unbeatable and mesmerizing!! We couldn’t get enough of it. The Villa is very tastefully furnished, beautiful art work and has everything you need. The beds are very comfy and the AC in the bedrooms also work great. The internet is very fast which was helpful. All in all a memory we will never forget! Pierre was a very nice host. The spot for snorkeling with Manta Rays is literally 2 minutes drive away. Thank you Pierre!

Absolutely breathtaking and perfect!

Our stay in Pierre's villa was amazing! We loved every minute of it and the villa is perfect with a breathtaking view! We were stunned and pleasantly surprised when we walked through the doors as the pictures cannot possibly show how beautiful it is! It's larger than we thought and the deck was perfect! This is by far the best villa in the entire complex as the deck is secluded and it's very quiet (except for the roosters...which we loved by the way...). Pierre gave us a lot of information and was extremely kind and helpful. We can't thank you enough for all your help and for having us in your home.

A dream in Bora Bora

The house is part of a complex on a small hill. The only negative point (if i can find one) is that there is no sign indicating the complex. Anyway, the house is fabulous: a great view with a very nice terrace, very nice forniture and high attention to details. The owner (Pierre) is extremely detailed and he gave us any possible information we could need. It was an excellent choice for staying in Bora Bora and i would highly recommend it.

My husband and I rented Villa Vahimanui for our Honeymoon. The owner (Pierre) is lovely, contacts you before you purchase, when you purchase and while you are there. He is ready and willing to answer questions as well as provide great suggestions for enjoying Bora Bora. We found the Villa to be exactly as described and pictured on VRBO.It was cozy, relaxing, very clean and tastefully decorated.We had plenty of space for the two of us! The view of the lagoon from the Villa was breathtaking! We found very good restaurants in the area such as the Maikai and the Saint James. The villa met all of our expectations and more! To anyone reading this, we can highly recommend this property!!

Hillside view over the lagoon

Let me say this first: If you don't mind daily steep walk and 80+ steps towards the villa, you will love it! It is everything your eyes deserve - incredible view and relaxing shades of blue. And just wait for the sunsets :). The villa is maintained and designed very well. The deck is spacious and you will enjoy it. The living room is naturally ventilated and there is no need for AC (in July). Pierre is great host and helpful with tips and recommendations. Needless to say we had one of the best vacations ever. Merci Pierre! P.S. Don't be afraid of the geckos - they are awesome creatures!

great place to experience Bora Bora!

Dear Pierre: We had a lovely stay at your Villa Vahimanui. The house was exactly what we wanted for our family in Bora Bora--away from crowds and tourists, but easy to do whatever activities we wanted. The view was just amazing and we could have spent hours looking out from the patio every evening. We never missed any sunsets! The kitchen was well set up and the laundry worked well too. All the landscaping and flowers around the condominiums are really beautiful and nicely done. Barthelemy, the caretaker, was very nice and helpful as well. For us, having the dock and beach right there was great since we were picked up various times by boats and jetskis. It was centrally located so we could travel to different parts of the island easily for sightseeing, going to town, or going to outer motus. We loved our stay in Bora and hope to return before too long. We would stay at Villa Vahimanui again.

Living the local life in Bora Bora.

We spent 10 days in this beautifully furnished and decorated house. It is up on a hill, reached through seventy-three steps from the closest parking lot, which leads to magnificent views. The dining area has been set outside and provides fantastic views as well. A screened area would enhance it even more. The kitchen is fully and nicely equipped, including high-end appliances. Master bedroom with medium firm European king-size mattress (64") and quiet air conditioning unit. The rest of the house tends to be hot from mid-day to sunset, at least in February. Being able to rent the Peugeot from the owner was a bonus, saving a lot of time with the rental agencies. Responsive owner and very kind and helpful caretakers.

Amazing stay!

We loved our stay at Villa Vahimanui! Upon arriving, the property is even more stunning than any of the photos shown in the listing. The inside of the house is spacious, clean & very well maintained. I can't say enough about the amazing view. Every single time we walked in the front door, every single time we walked out of our bedroom, we were in heaven! There's no way to adequately describe how perfectly beautiful it is. In addition to the view, the accommodations are great. The kitchen is very well stocked with most anything you would need to cook meals there. We've never stayed at any vacation rental that had the supply of beach and bath towels we had here. Pierre was helpful and quickly responsive from the time we made our reservation all the way through our stay. All of our questions and requests were answered in a timely and helpful manner. Thank you, Pierre, for sharing your lovely home!
