Great for ski vacation
Property served well for my ski vacation. It is right on the bus line to the slopes which is very convenient. Property owner was very responsive.

Cleanliness an issue
A property being dated is not an issue for us but the cleanliness of bedding, rugs, walls and the cabinet interiors was disappointing. The bedroom bathroom configuration worked well.

Loved it!
We had a great time! The location is great and the complex is quiet. The 3 bed/3bath set up was perfect for all 8 of us, never felt crowded. The hot tub had great sunset views and not too many people. The non-skiers in the group loved how close we were to Fraser Tubing Hill (4 minute drive!) and the skiers loved Winter Park. Definitely recommend!

About the host

Like many families, renting our family mountain home helps pay for it; this is our family TOWNHOME and is not a commercial rental or owned by a "vacation" company. It is NOT a stripped rental; it is family furnished and outfitted as our private home and not a commercial rental.

Ginger and David Pickett been Married 52 years have lived in Plano, Texas for 32 years; our children Natalee and Amanda live in Broomfield, Colorado, and we have 3 lovely grandkids who love to go to the "Mountain House".

David grew up in Denver and Jackson, Mississippi and attended Georgia Tech and graduated from University of Texas at Arlington. Ginger grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Texas Wesleyan as an English teacher.
Ginger leads the Women's Bible Discussion Group (32+ years) and David is ACTIVE on 3 missions Boards.
David is an author and a full time serial inventor in many fields and is currently patented 10+ technologies, the most notable is a system that makes your home AC to run at factory max efficiency all the time regardless of how hot it is. Payback is under two years.

Why they chose this property

ALERT FEB = JUST COMPLETED 2+ DAY DEEP CLEANING! MeadowRidge Resort Club is unique; it is centrally located, family oriented, economical, convenient (bus stop is at end of our driveway), Safeway and shopping center at bottom of the hill) , safe, quiet, and very very comfortable. Each room has its own heat. Heated bath floors. Large hot water heater. Private garage with remote opener. Complete gourmet kitchen. Dining table for 6 and 4 breakfast bar stools. UHD Big screen TV, WIFI, Blu-ray. All upscale mattresses and linens.
Its our quiet personal home and not a stripped down commercial rental.
The local Holiday Inn rents a one bath, one queen tiny room for $199 -$240+ a night. That makes our mountain home a bargain!

What makes this property unique

MeadowRidge Club, a 2 minute walk, is the very best condo club in the valley / state. Free to guests. Look it up. Everything but golf and plenty of golf is 10 min away in Tabernash.
This is why we bought it after vacationing in the area every year since 1976 and owning other condos elsewhere - Vail and Breckenridge. (way too crowded, too many thugs and crime)
