This property is amazing. The view from the balcony is one of the best. Great view of the beach and of Black Rock. It was clean and decorated decently. Plenty of amenities on the property too. The pool and spa were great. Plenty of seating around the pool and they have chairs by the beach for guest use. I would definitely stay at this place again without a second thought. Walking distance to Whalers Village and restaurants.

Place was great. Awesome view. I communicated with owner before going and she said she had left chairs and umbrella in may. There were no chairs but that was okay. We ended up buying some from Costco and bringing them home we could use hotels because waves were so big they weren’t letting guests use them. The umbrella was there but broken. We managed to use it sort of but by the end of the week too windy to use. Kitchen was well stocked with all what we needed to cook. Bed very nice and couch and everything nice. Would stay there again as we loved he view and our friends also stay in same tower. We love the whaler.

Everything was better that described. Just a perfect location and the pictures should be updated because it is better than the pictures show. The property is immaculate and the employees are amazing. We absolutely loved our stay.

Best value condo

The view and location are amazing. We’re making plans to stay again…that is best compliment It’s not fancy nor upgraded, not everything was perfect but it’s Maui…. And view and location are worth it.

Location location location

It is one of the best beaches in Hawaii and the location of the condo takes advantage of this. Everything you need for a week stay is provided including great starter kit for kitchen and bathrooms. Bed is comfortable, view is nice, AC works great and it is close to stores and restaurants. Would recommend.

Maui vacation

Very comfortable, fully stocked unit with stunning views of Black Rock, Molokai and the West Maui mountains. Enjoyed our morning coffee daily on the lanai watching whales and sometimes turtles too! Great location.

Excellent view on lanai of Kaanapali beach, Black Rock, and Moloka’i. Check in was quick. Kitchen was well stocked so we had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and unit was clean. Vent fan in bathroom is a bit noisy. Overall, I highly recommend this unit.

Love the Whaler!

This is our 3rd time at The Whaler and always a fabulous vacation. The location is perfect - great beach with little crowding and so convenient to Whaler’s Village next door. The açaí bowls at Island Vintage Coffee are the best! The unit itself was perfect for the price, though slightly dated in some aspects (like carpeting). Communication was great!

Room was clean but the decor needs a refresh. (wallpaper coming down, refrigerator was stained, bathroom fan too loud). Location was great. Our flight came in early and we went to check in and were told they have a strict 4 o’clock policy. They kept us waiting until 4:15. My son stayed in another unit and they hustled up and got him checked in at 2:00.

Love The Whaler!

Stayed for a week and loved every minute. Some of the reviews for this unit mention that it needs upgrades, and while it could use a few, it is clean and nothing takes away from the awesome views and experience at the Whaler. We easily saw whales from the unit the whole week. The Whaler itself is a perfect combination of some nice services (towels, pool, beach chairs, etc.) without being too boujie for our style. Highly recommend!

Everyone was more than helpful and friendly. It would have been nice to have instructions to the living room TV. we had a terrible time getting it to work. When we did, we couldn’t change channels or turn it off without having to start over. Very frustrating
