5 Bedroom House On Private Beach With Fabulous Fishing And Diving
This beautiful house sits on 12 acres at the south end of Calabash Caye. It is adjacent to the best bonefishing flat in the Turneffe Island atoll, with the reef a short swim away. Downstairs the house has a large open dining and living room adjacent to the kitchen. In addition to the 5 bedrooms upstairs, there is a den area. Outside there is a dock with a boat slip available.
There are 5 fishing flats within walking or kayaking distance of the house. Many more flats and excellent reef and offshore fishing is accessible by boat. A certified scuba diving operation is only short boat ride away. A boat with a guide can be easily arranged from Belize City. Access to this property is by 1 hour water taxi ride from Belize City. There are 2 caretakers on the property to help with household systems and maintenance. We can arrange fishing guides and boats as well as a cook/housekeeper if you like. We offer a complete trip planning guide with suggested check lists for your trip. We are also available to answer your questions at any time. The fishing and diving here is truly world class. It is also a great place to just relax. This is a very special place we know you will enjoy.

- Towels and Sheets provided. You will need to bring all food and drinks, including bottled water, from Belize City.
- Power is by generator, which is usually turned on in the morning and in the evening until bedtime. This is managed for you by our 2 caretakers that live on the property.
- Washing machine available.
- We can staff with a cook and/or a house keeper at approximately $60 per day.
- A fishing boat with or without a guide can be hired for as many days as desired for approximately $150 per day, plus $100 per day for a guide/captain. The guide will usually stay on property overnight for multiple day bookings. Fishing equipment can be rented, if desired.

I am the manager for the corporation that owns this beautiful property. I live in Bristol, TN, and am an avid fisherman, and an occasional diver. This property is a fisherman's and a diver's dream location. There are so many wonderful fishing and diving options that you will not nearly accomplish them all in a week.
Why they chose this property
There are no other houses for rent in the Turneffe Islands that we are aware of. Our property offers arguably the best bonefishing flat in the whole island chain just a 2 minute walk out your front door. There are fish on it for most of each day.
What makes this property unique
The fact that you can access 5 flats from the house by walking or by kayak is highly unusual and attractive. With the reef just a few yards from your front door, you do not need a boat to access excellent snorkeling. The house is very comfortable and spacious. Its large, open downstairs with a large bar is conducive to fun interaction by all guests.
