About this property

A little warmth in the heart of the central highlands

Nestled among the tall timber on the edge of the Wombat State Forest you will find Lily’s Farm.
We are a 10 minute drive from Daylesford, the most popular weekend getaway destination in Victoria.
Our studio apartment is warm, comfortable and well-appointed with a fully equipped kitchen and all modern conveniences you would expect. Outside you’ll find a rustic paved area with an open fire to gather around and while away the cool evenings.
You’ll find the fridge and the pantry well stocked. Don’t want to cook breakfast? No problem, pop in to our local café down at the Glenlyon General Store.
There’s some vintage sound equipment in the studio. Spin an LP or play a cassette. Oh, and there’s a DVD player and a video player. Video – anyone remember that?
We have a jetty out across the dam. Grab a glass of wine and sit and watch the lilies fade away as the evening closes in.
A haven for native wildlife, we have our usual crop of visitors in the early morning or the late afternoon. Don’t be surprised to find a kookaburra at your window or a kangaroo outside your door.
You will be sharing the property with your hosts Lee and Trevor, but you are free to roam the 5 acres at will. There is a 90 metre dam. Take a swim if you wish.
Down at the back of the property we have a seasonal creek. It usually flows between June and December.
Please note that we (the owners) live on site.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
