Great Stay

We had a great stay here. It was very clean, in a great location, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked which made it easy for us to cook while we were there. The pool area was great for times when we didn't feel like heading to the beach. Would definitely recommend

Great location for a base area to explore the island. There was plenty of space and the amenities are just what you need. The washer/dryer ended up being a big help as well.

This condo was a perfect size and location for our family of 6. Spacious, next to the pool, and 10 minutes from 3 white sand beaches. It works well for a stay if your looking for beach/pool time and a resort location.

Perfect Location

We loved the condo. It was beautiful and such a great location to explore the surrounding beaches. The kids loved the pool and it’s walking distance to the Queens and Kings shops and A Bay beach. There is a grocery market nearby too. We would love to come back one day!

Perfect Waikaloa base

The condo was clean and well appointed. The two bedrooms are far enough apart to give privacy if two couples vacationing together. I traveled with my parents and we all loved the condo. The Lanai overlooks the pond/water feature and was a favorite spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and breakfast. Would recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful Facility

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Shores. The entire Waikoloa resort area is fabulous. Our unit was very spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub were very nice and I used the fitness center twice. The best feature though was it was very quiet. We had to drive 25 minutes either north or south for many activities but it was so worth it for the peace and beauty.

Great stay for two couples

We had a great one week stay at the Shores of Waikoloa. Condo was just as shown on the listing. Very convenient to all locations on the island. Lanai was huge and very relaxing overlooking the koi pond. Pool a quick walk away. Hot tub was large with great jets. Beds were comfortable. Lots of privacy for two couples. Close enough to walk to the coastal hiking trails. Highly recommend this property.

Loved: Close to pool, on main level, so clean, comfy beds, close to beach, plenty of room, mornings spent on Lanai, dinners on Lanai, nicely renovated….we loved this condo! Bummer: The only bummer was that the waterfall right outside the condo was not working. I was looking forward to the sounds and relaxation of the waterfall. Oh well, we still loved our stay!!!

Amazing Stay!!

We had a very peaceful and wonderful time here. We have friends who live right across from this condo so we could visit them. The pool was quiet and sometimes we were the only ones there. The condo was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Just a few notes, one of the lamps in the master bedroom had an issue--the light fixture was hanging off--so we didn't use it. Loud bathroom fans and air conditioner took some getting used to. But no complaints because we were in Hawaii, our happy place. Definitely staying here again!

Very clean, walking distance to a couple beaches and all resorts in the immediate area

Property was very very clean and over-all nicely stocked. We were pretty disappointed there were no coffee filters for the drip coffee pot. Had to walk to the nearest overpriced market to buy a 40 ct just for 3 morning coffee pots. Comfortable beds/bedding. Big bathrooms with good water pressure, plenty of linens. Typical island wear and odor through out. I lived in the Caribbean during school this seems pretty normal. Nice outdoor area to eat or enjoy coffee and short walk to quaint pool/hot tub. The first 1.5 days were brutal with jet lag and the stampede of what we gathered were two teenage boys upstairs. They either left by the second evening or they caught on to me yelling for them to keep quiet later in the evening. Overall it was a nice stay.

Decent stay in a lovely community

The condo itself is quite nice. The space is good, the beds are decent, the bathrooms are really good-sized, and we enjoyed the lanai. Issues that were less than desirable were that this condo offered little by way of accessories. We have stayed in Hawaii three times now and this is the first time we have encountered a condo that only provided cheap, thin beach towels. Granted, it was not listed that more was offered, we have just always found more. Our other stays included tennis rackets/balls, beach chairs, an umbrella, towels, etc. This is not a star against them, just something worth noting. Our one large disappointment was that this condo offered AC and our Ac was out for 48 hours. We contacted the facility and were told, "we'll contact our maintenance guy, but he might not want to come out on a Sunday." That is poor service. Essentially we went 48 hours in a condo that is not designed to create any kind of cross-breeze, so we were pretty miserable for two nights of sleep. My husband contacted them the day we left because the original gal he spoke to said she'd look into compensating us (she never go back with us). The final conversation my husband was told "we don't usually do this, but we'll comp you 10% for your trouble." My husband was grateful and felt we'd received a good response. However, the compensation was 10% of one night's stay. We have received much better service and response times for issues other places.

Loved the location of this condo in the complex, really close to the pool. Nice big bathrooms, although the hot water in the master shower would never get as hot as I like. It was only 2 of us, but it was plenty of space for a larger group or family.
