About this property

Newly renovated 1970's house. Dog/kid friendly.

Our newly renovated, 3 bedroom, 1970's beachside home is very comfortable.. It has a retro feel along with all the mod cons.. Located in a small beach community with great cafe's and the beautiful quiet Mudjimba beach only 200 metres walk away.. Dog friendly with a fully fenced yard and kid friendly with toys etc included.. Great for a quick weekend to relax or perfect for a good long family holiday..

The space
Our newly renovated, 3 bedroom beachside home is very sweet, has an 1970's retro style along with all the mod cons. A lovely pergola deck which lines one side of the house is great for morning breakfast or a laid back lunch. First bedroom has a queen bed, second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two single beds. There is a bathroom with a walk in shower and double basin sink, and a separate toilet. Spacious kitchen contains gas cook top, oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. Laundry contains a washing machine with a large clothesline outside. House is south facing so the morning sun shines through the living room which keeps it warm in winter. Native gardens surround the house with banana, pawpaw and passionfruit trees growing wild - lovely garden to walk around and listen to the birds singing each day. Located in a small beach community with great local cafe's, takeaway and shops walk away. Beautiful quiet Mudjimba beach only a 200metre walk from the house. Marcoola is a 10 min drive from Sunshine Coast airport, 25min drive from Noosa, 15min drive from Maroochydore, 1hr drive from Brisbane.

Really lovely stay

The house is really tastefully renovated and is really well located. Really appreciated all the beach towels and how well stocked the fridge and pantry was. Made our stay so much easier.

Great house, Great location

A beautiful house, lovely decor, in a great location close to the beach and local shops. The little extras the host left for us on arrival was much appreciated after a long day of travel. Our dogs loved exploring the yard.

This was a beautiful little getaway for my partner and I with our two dogs. Property was amazing with everything we needed. So close to the beach for morning and afternoon walks. Very happy with this booking

4 day get away

Very happy with this renovated cottage close to beach and shops easy arrival and Jodi had fridge and pantry with items that were handy to have so didn’t have to go down straight down to shops . Very quiet area could even hear the surf at night from our bedrooms we have two small dogs so nice to be able to have them their with us .I. highly recommend this cottage

Beach life

A beautiful little beach shack with a tasteful renovation. We loved that you could walk to the beach and were only minutes to cafes. The owners were great communicators. We will be telling all our family and friends about this property.

A relaxing getaway

We loved our stay at Wallum house. The house was inviting and calming. The pantry was generously well stocked. The host had provided everything we needed to get going including a dog bed and treats for our pooch. We are planning our return later this year :-)

Perfect Peace

My husband, our teenager and our two dogs stayed for two nights and had such a lovely time. The house and garden were like a little pocket of peace. Absolutley everything had been thought of. The house was incredibly comfortable and there were so many considerate touches. I kept finding new things to ooh and ah about and I was so sorry when it was time to go. Our dogs loved the nearby dog beach and walking along the river and it was lovely that even the dogs were thought about with bowls and treats. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more and felt so spoilt!

Lovely house but not relaxing at all

Property was fairly accurate except that there was no hot tub. Very leafy and close to the beach. Impossible to relax as house is in the direct line with the Sunshine Airport, which had a steady stream of airplanes coming and going. The person on our left side of the house was learning how to play electric guitar and drums and decided to play them at 6.30am every morning. Conveniently located but not relaxing.

Perfect for the family

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great location, beautifully appointed/designer interior, well setup for the stay! With just enough essential items that we forgot to pack! Great proximity to the beach and river boat ramp, There was some plane noise being close to the airport but the noise was infrequent and stopped at night
