This cottage is located on a country road away from it all. It's only 15-20 miles from Natural Bridge State Park and The Red River Gorge. The nearest town is Beattyville. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths on three floors. Enjoy the peace and quiet with all the comforts of home. Relax on the large front porch in a rocking chairs or porch swings or sit at the patio table on the back deck in the trees. Your family and friends will enjoy spending fun time together in the game room or relaxing in the hot tub.

Perfect place for my family and parents. Everything was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed playing ping pong and pool and not being too far away from hiking. It was nice to have the TV downstairs so the sports watchers didn't disturb the others.

Everything was amazing, they have everything you can even think of to make for a fantastic getaway. From the hot tub, pool table and games. I forgot to bring a lighter to start our fire but they had one!!! I will definitely stay here agin if I visit in the future.

Peaceful family getaway

Very peaceful property tucked back in the country and only 20min from red river gorge and many other popular hikes in Daniel Boone. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Very clean and plenty of room. Nice game room in case it’s too hot to hike or raining. Close to all the hiking spots. Unfortunately didn’t get to use the hot tub because it was to hot/humid to enjoy.

Beautiful place to get away.

This home is located at the end of the road, somewhat secluded , with beautiful views all around. I loved just sitting on the front porch watching the sun go down.My kids had so much fun in the game room and the hot tub was amazing! Plus Red River Gorge Hiking and activities are just a short drive away! Would totally stay here again!

Some friends and I stayed here for New Year's Eve weekend and we had a blast! The owners are very nice and welcoming! The house was really nice and clean. I would highly recommend staying here!

Family get away

This was the 2nd time i stayed here with my family. They still loved it! just like the fist time we stayed here. The couches in the game room are brand new and comfortable. Next time we are going to come to red river gorge hope thid house is avaliable.

Relaxing place away from the city.

Had a great friends/family vacation away from the city over the long weekend. Great place to get away and enjoy the outdoors. Plus the house had a great game room and a hot tub we all enjoyed after a full day of hiking. Would recommend this place and would also stay here again when we come back to visit.

Spring break

Very pleasant stay in a nicely remodeled home. It was very clean, everything worked, kids ….and old folks enjoyed the game room and hot tub. Very handy to sate and national park. Will stay again.

Short road trip

Six adults decided to get away for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. The hot tub was a BIG plus! It was very private and easy to find with the owner's instructions. Close to many adventures in the Red River Gorge area of Kentucky!

We are James and Elizabeth Roach. We have lived on Tip Top Road in Beattyville most of our 32 years of marriage. We have two daughters, Megan and Michaela. We also have Bill's Place Cabin vacation rental on Tip Top Road. We purchased this house in 2014 and decided to offer it as a vacation rental as well. We love living here and want to offer visitors an opportunity to enjoy it too.

It's in a quiet area. It will allow you to slow down and enjoy spending time with your family and friends. It is located in a country setting so you will most likely see wildlife.

What makes this property unique

The property is just 15-20 miles from Natural Bridge State Park and The Red River Gorge. You can visit those areas then come back to the house to enjoy your private space. If you have a larger group that wants to spend time together but enjoy separate living space, we also offer a cabin within walking distance. The cabin is "Bill's Place", property #595378
