About the host
Hosted by Penny
Mike and I moved to France from England in 2015, after having researched the exact location we wanted to settle in over a number of years. We wanted to set up a holiday home business in a different country and experience a new culture. We absolutely love living here and Mike has enjoyed renovating the two vacation homes we now rent out to holiday makers. We love welcoming people to this beautiful part of the world and seeing them unwind and relax, leaving the cares from their day to day lives behind them.
Why they chose this property
Our property is perfect for us. We adore old buildings with character and the three houses and two barns we proudly own have these attributes in abundance. The views of the vines and woodlands surrounding us fill us with a sense of calm and happiness each day. Bliss!
What makes this property unique
We can visit a French market every day of the week, taste and buy the best wine in the world and visit beautiful towns and cities such as Bordeaux and Bergerac. Our lifestyle is much more relaxed than it was in England and we enjoy working on our home and garden every day. We're so grateful that we have had the opportunity to build a new life in France and can't imagine living anywhere else now.
