Ideally situated in the beautiful provencal town of Lorgues, this extra large apartment (largest and most ideally positioned apartment in small complex) is the perfect base to relax and enjoy this colourful medieval market town and the beautiful countryside of the Var region of Provence or experience the glamourous towns and sandy beaches (30 mins) of the Cote D’Azur including Saint Tropez (40 mins), Cannes (50 mins) and Nice (60 mins). The two bedroom 2nd floor apartment, with large lounge and dining area and separate fully fitted kitchen, is in a small private development built in provencal style in 2006 with an outdoor pool. The furnished balcony has views of the surrounding vineyards and olive groves as do all the rooms in the apartment. Ample enclosed parking and beautifully designed gardens form part of the small development. The centre of town, less than 200 metres away, has a good selection of bars and restaurants and a number of shops and supermarkets cater for most needs.

I live in Dublin, have travelled extensively all over the world but always have had a love of France. I presently work in education but previously worked in PR in the drinks industry.

Why they chose this property

Having been introduced to France by my parents as a child, I returned to the South of France as a holiday destination about ten years ago and fell in love with the region. It was my dream to buy somewhere but never thought it would materialize. Although I loved the Cote d'Azur I preferred the countryside and village life with easy access to the coast. I visited Lorgues almost ten years ago for its weekly market and a short while later couldn't believe my luck, when searching for a property, I found a new development in Lorgues being built in provencal style, shutters, balcony, red tiled roof, etc., and succeeded to securing the last apartment. I hope to make it my permanent home in the future. The apartment therefore has been described as 'home to home'.

What makes this property unique

Two weeks is too little time to enjoy everything that the region and the village has to offer. Every time I travel down myself I discover something else new. Please check my website which has lots of information.
