The beachfront Rincon Surf Cabana sits on 2 acres of land set back 20 yards from the Caribbean Ocean. It lies on the westernmost tip of Puerto Rico in the small town of Rincon, known as the 'Pueblo de los Bellos Atardeceres', the Town of Beautiful Sunsets. The Rincon Surf Cabana faces the west and the entire side of the house has a large porch open to the sunsets, the ocean surf, the Caribbean Trade Winds (the 'trades'), and in season, the migrating whales.

Encompassed in completely private surroundings, the Rincon Surf Cabana offers solitude and breathtaking scenery to the traveler who appreciates being lulled to sleep each night by the sounds of the ocean waves.

If you are a surfer, you are in heaven, as you walk off the porch, and paddle out to the best surfing in all of Rincon. If you are not, you are a short walk to steps beach, our world famous snorkeling spot, the calypso café, and the Rincon lighthouse and many other attractions. In general, we are located in the absolute best location Rincon has to offer.

Happiness and Tranquility in one place

This property provided with all we were looking; privacy, tranquility, unique access to the beach coupled with a BEAUTIFUL location and incredible sunset. The owner/host was very friendly and extremely responsive when needed. Definitively will recommend to anyone. Will be back!

It's the Ocean

Second time here but about 20th time in Rincon. Owner is an awesome sort and the place is about slowing down and letting the ocean do its magic. Prime time surf location, iguanas coming out of the trees, sunsets, drift wood and if you are lucky you might find new skills in how to relax!

Tropical Heaven

My daughter and I practically lived sitting under the pavilion watching the waves.We loved the view and the privacy. It is a piece of heaven on earth. Edwin is a wonderful host and responded quickly to any needs. It's a simple cabin and small kitchen, but everything else made up for it for us. We hated to leave and can't wait for a chance to return.

Thanks for a perfect week

This small rustic little house was perfect. Coffee to the beach in the morning. Sit and watch the waves. Just a few steps to refill your cup and back. At night a beautiful sunset. Watch surfers or walk along the beach. Lots of places to eat nearby and Edwin made great suggestions. If you are looking for a little place to sleep and enjoy the area this is a perfect spot.

Your own private Paradise

The view and the privacy are worth any shortfalls. Sitting on the covered Lanai watching the sunset or stargazing is not an easy find in such a private setting.

Location, Location, Location

If you want a simple surf shack on the beach, this is for you. It is a beautiful property that couldn't be any better-situated. The home itself could use a few updates (better door lock, another floor mat for sand trapping, ice cube trays...) but all is forgiven with the location and the peace. The bed is comfortable, the linens were clean and in good shape and we had everything we needed for a working surf vacation with fast wifi. The host was very kind, helpful, and communicative. Would 100% stay here again.

A Flawless Stay at the Beach

This cabana is just about as perfect as you can get... you are literal steps away from the beach, so close that you can hear the sound of the ocean the entire time and are greeted every morning with a peaceful, serene view. The location is perfect - close enough to drive anywhere you need but private enough that you forget other people are close by. Edwin is a genial, generous host and we are so thankful for his quick communication and responsiveness to our questions. I cannot believe our luck in finding this location and we are eagerly awaiting our next stay.

A Truly Special Place...

Perfect location, lots of privacy, exactly as described, right on Dogman's beach, see and hear the ocean all day. You are able to surf right in front of the house. Pistons/Maria's are in view and easily an under 5 min walk. Lots of sea glass to find on the beach both directions from the house. Edwin was super responsive and accommodating. Many favorite places within a mile (BD Cafe, Jack's Shack) 2 milesish from downtown Rincon. Comfortable and simple rental at a first rate location.

The Perfect Getaway

Driving through the gate and seeing this hidden gem is so worth it. You will immediately fall in love with this cottage on the Caribbean Sea. We arrived on a Saturday and the owner gave directions so the home via text and that helped so much given the highway system in Puerto Rico. This cottage is perfect for two people. It is small and tidy which is perfect for a secluded getaway. The Caribbean Sea awaits you right outside your windows. You will fall asleep listening to the waves crushing outside your window. You will instantly calm and as you press your reset button, you will be grateful you chose this hidden gem in Rincon.

Gorgeous, tranquil, beach front hut!

The property, house, and beach are amazing! Edwin was the best host! If you want peace & quiet, amazing sunsets, and long beach walks, here is the spot. Close to EVERYTHING, but yet you feel a million miles away once back at the property. Watching the surfers was great, morning to night. One thing to note, be VERY careful if swimming. (some sort of board recommended, to get over the limestone) There are other (safer for kids) swimming spots within walking distance though!! That was not a negative by any means, I just wish we brought something to safely get past the breaking waves/ rocks. All in all, I wish we could move there permanently! Big thanks to Edwin. :)

Perfect escape!

You can’t get a better location for a private beachfront getaway. Surf right out front, very quiet spot, walking distance to cafes & bars, cute little cabin with everything you need. Edwin and his wife were fantastic hosts. They accommodated my booking date mistake and were very understanding and considerate. Thank you again for such a great stay!

What a great place for a couple’s vacation. Nothing over the top, but amazingly comfortable, and steps from the beach. The house has beach chairs coolers for the beach, plus the covered patio just off the beach with a grill and chaises. Walking distance to great eats and drinks, snorkeling and surfing. It felt like a trip back in time! We will definitely be back!

Charming beach cabaña and close to things.

This cabaña has it all. Walking distance to restaurants, surfing, and attractions. A short drive to the market if you chose to stay in. If you’re attending a wedding nearby, this place is a great hideaway. On warm days turn on the air conditioner and turn it off at night for the cool ocean breeze. Already thinking of the next trip and staying here.

Great Little House in a wonderful location of Rincon

The Front Beach Cabana was absolutely amazing. The house itself had everything we needed. The kitchen gave us the opportunity to shop local and make our own meals at home and eat on the beach. We used the outdoor grill, overlooking the beach, surf, and amazing sunsets, almost every evening. The outdoor shower was really nice after a morning surf lesson or afternoon snorkel. The weather was too perfect to even use the AC but that was a very nice feature to have. The cabana location is steps from Dogman's beach and Maria's beach and a short walk to the Lighthouse and Steps Beach. The neighborhood is quiet and appeared to be very safe and secure. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, and other local attractions in and around Rincon. Edwin was extremely attentive to any questions we had and was a wealth of information for suggestions on places to eat, where to buy fresh fish, and stores that could be open on Christmas day. He was a pleasure to interact with and had a very quick response time. I would definitely stay at the Front Beach Cabana the next trip to Rincon and would highly recommend this place for travelers heading to the western part of Puerto Rico!

Perfect location and perfectly relaxing.

We loved this little cabana. It's nice and quiet and feels incredibly private. My husband was able to walk to surf lessons down the beach and I relaxed in the shade on the beach in front of the house. Really incredible. The owner was available and helpful if we needed anything and checked in by text to see if everything was all right. The house was neat and clean and is located five minutes from everything in Rincon. We wish we had booked more time there!

Beautiful, cozy and great location

The property was perfect. The location was awesome. The cabana was cozy and comfortable. It was the perfect size for our family of three. Edwin was great! We kept in communication from the time we booked until the day we left. He was very responsive to our needs. He even had a boogie board for my son to use. He took a picture of it and sent it to me to make sure it was the correct one. The air conditioner in the bedroom was perfect. Overall, the stay was just what we needed. Very relaxing and beautiful. We are already planning next years vacation.

I was raise by my parents and grandparents in a property really close to this one in the road 413 right before to the entrance of the lighthouse. I work as a theacher of physical education for kids with disabilities.To make this Cabaña and start doing other things with my life is one of my goals.
