Everything was lovely and clean. Easy to find but tight with the parking at the back of the property due to how other cars are parked. Plenty of space to park outside at the front of the property.Handy for travelling to places in and around the area. The host was very good on answering questions regarding the property and providing information on eateries nearby.

Great short stay here. Really clean, quiet and warm, just what we needed. Would definitely book again next time we are in the area.
The cottage was very nice and amenities were excellent. Everything went smoothly from my perspective and I did not encounter any issues. All of the people I met were friendly.
Val always has everything ready for a lovely stay. The cottage is very clean, all appliances work and there is a notebook with answers to FAQ.The cottage is located on the village of Badby which is quiet, the surrounding area is beautiful and the people who live there are friendly.Always a wonderful stay
A very enjoyable stay in the pretty and quiet village of Badby. The house was just as described and perfect for our needs. Good little playground and cafe and pub a short walk away. In a perfect world the curtains in the bedrooms would have blackout lining (for the summer sunrises) and the dishwasher would be replaced as the racks are shedding rust, but otherwise a fantastic stay.

Thank you for your review.
I am waiting for a complete new bottom drawer for the dishwasher.
As always, it was wonderful. The cottage is convenient and comfortable. It has everything need for an excellent stay. It's quiet and very clean. We even had a friend over for dinner. It had everything we needed for a great dinner.
Our thanks again to Val for all she does to make it a great holiday.
We only stayed for two nights in this cottage and wished we could stay longer. Quiet residential
area in the pretty village of Badby.
Well stocked with unexpected milk, coffee, washing up liquid, t-towels etc. That’s great as there’s always something one forgets and good for us on such a short stay.
We are from the States and stayed there for a week last year. When it was time for another visit, we immediately booked with Val. She was able to accommodate our early check in request (needed a couple hours of sleep after an all night flight), the house is spotless and the king sized bed is amazing!
There is a pub within walking distance and we enjoyed talking with Zach and the locals. Definitely 10 out of 10 rating!

Thank you for your kind review. I’m happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. 😊
I came here with my husband, our nearly 2 year old daughter and my husbands grandmother, to stay near my sister-in-law in Daventry. We were a 10 minute drive from them, and the cottage was perfect. It was accessible for our grandma, and there was a highchair for my daughter and a travel cot and plenty of room for the travel cot to be set up. Unfortunately there was really loud music on the first night, but we couldn't work out where this was coming from as the cottage is detached! This isn't the fault or problem of Val though, and luckily didn't wake our daughter. Hopefully just a one off as we couldn't hear it the next night.
We hope to stay again when we next visit family as it is perfect. Definitely recommend!
As always, Val is a wonderful host. The cottage is well maintained and very clean. We cook most of our breakfasts and many of our dinners in the cottage and find everything we need. We have friends in the area and love to host a get-together for the four of us. The cottage works very well for this. With the pub a short walk away, larger groups for dinner are covered. If we want a change, the village is generally very quiet and the walks are peaceful and beautiful.Thank you Val for being a large part of our very enjoyable vacation.
We are from the States and spent 6 nights in this lovely cottage. We chose this cottage because of the king size bed and it did not disappoint! The village is beautiful and the pub (within walking distance) has great food and atmosphere. We have family and friends in Northamptonshire and this location was perfect. The cottage had all the amenities of home. Val was amazing and responded to our questions within minutes.
Spacious cottage in a peaceful location.
Good sized bedrooms/ bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and clean linen/towels.
Local pub is worth a visit- friendly and good food
Communication from the host was good and easy check in/out
Such a lovely little cottage, finished to a really good quality - the photos do not do it justice! Communication with Valerie the owner was also fantastic - I was staying here the night before my wedding and my nerves ahead of time meant I had a few questions and Valerie always got back to me within a few minutes. Thank you!

All services worked perfectly.
Useful single level layout that suited my elderly parents well. The host, Val always responded promptly. Would strongly recommend if you need a base near Badby. Local pub has good food and friendly staff.
Very pleasant, clean and well maintained property. All on one level so just right for my elderly mother. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
The house was lovely. It had plenty of space for our family. Val even dropped by to give us milk and it was nice to meet her. We had everything we needed and it was well positioned to get to the wedding venue in 7 minutes. Would definitely stay again
