The best vistas are from the top, this is a 9th floor penthouse with panoramic top floor ocean views. Enjoy the splendor of a remodeled penthouse with sweeping ocean views. Located atop fabulous Kaanapali Shores, a AAA, triple diamond rated resort, on world famous Kaanapali Beach. The penthouse has a plush king size bed and a queen sofa sleeper, central air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, an LED slim-design HD TV, blue-ray DVD and free in-room Internet. The kitchen, complete with new cabinets, full size stove, refrigerator and dishwasher, granite counters, bathroom cabinetry and other upgrades. New carpets installed 3/31/2023

The penthouse has a long history of high ratings. We have made this an unforgettable vacation experience with extra touches added to the awesome views and outstanding resort amenities. It is highly rated for special events like honeymoons or anniversaries.

Stay at a destination resort and enter into in the tropical resort through a beautiful open lobby. Experience the sights, sounds and fragrances of Maui, a waterfall surrounded by flowers, lush foliage and a koi stream. Enjoy the oceanfront main pool, jacuzzi, the garden pool or sunbathing on the beach in a chaise lounge. Relax while dining at the Kaanapali Shores restaurant, conveniently located, just steps from the beach.

Kaanapali Shores offers amenities including a health club, beauty salon, gift shop, outdoor massage, children's programs, onsite DVD rental kiosk, activities desk and concierge services-plus our guests do not pay a resort fee (guests booked through Aston do). Just beyond the resort gates there is a shopping center, with a supermarket, coffee shop, restaurants/bars, dive shop, gift shop, and more. Just down the street there is a farmer's market and natural food store--and no trip to Maui is complete without sampling the local farmer's fruit and produce.

Back in your condo, you can enjoy a latte (machine provided) while you watch breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Molokai Island, whale watching or simply relaxing while viewing rainbows or the sunset from the privacy of your lanai. (Resort parking fee of $9 per day may apply to your stay subject to change). Per Hawaiian Law, there is no smoking in vacation rentals or on the lanais (balconies). Daily or interim maid service (including daily coffee and shampoo) is NOT included with this rental. There is NO resort fee with this rental but there is an additional fee for parking on site (covered parking is available). Check out time is 11 in the morning on the last date of your stay range.

This was an amazing stay! It was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. The access to chairs and a cooler were a big plus, had us ready for the beach! Parking was 11 a day, but that included covered parking with direct access to the building which was nice with random but short rain showers. Our favorite part was the balcony over looking the ocean. We saw whales almost every morning (here in Feb). The kitchen was well stocked and had a nice coffee maker. Pluse the ease of renting the snorkling gear right at the resort was a great benefit. Overall the stay was amazing and would recommend to anyone!

Pros: The unit has a huge sliding window with a beautiful ocean view, check-in was easy, staff at property is friendly and helpful, communication with property manager was excellent, good location, short walk to beach, close to grocery store, well equipped clean kitchen, easy parking, nice air conditioner. Cons: Carpet is worn out and VERY stained, bathroom grout has spots of mold, bathroom screen needs cleaning/replacing, bed is comfortable however, there is an egg crate mattress pad that needs replacing. They are like sponges that soak up perspiration and egg crate pads cannons be washed as a regular mattress pad can. Also, the bed could use better quality sheets. Unit needs some TLC.

My room was occupied when I arrived and I was misplaced.

The deadbolt on the door of the room I paid for was locked from the inside which resulted in me being misplaced. The property manager had said that she would compensate me for being misplaced and I wasn’t compensated. The room is a penthouse view only, it’s average when it comes to the furnishings and the bed is not comfortable, it’s firm. This rental was not a good experience, but I use VRBO all the time and this was my first bad exp.

Your condo was not occupied. Our cleaners texted me around 4 pm to tell me the condo was ready for you. I took your call at around 2 am and you said you could not open the door. I was able to get you booked into another condo that was available for 2 days (I did not charge you for the second condo). The following morning, my assistant and I checked and the code worked, nobody was in the condo. Perhaps you were tired and you were putting in a wrong code. You were very appreciative with the service you received and grateful that I was able to get you to another condo since you were not able to use your code to get in. I did check the log for the lock and nobody had entered the condo since it was cleaned in the afternoon. I did not offer you compensation but offered to give you the second condo free of charge. This beautiful penthouse is exactly as described and the views are beautiful as the other guests have mentioned. We have never received a complaint about the bed. Some people prefer a firm bed and some people prefer one not as firm. I am very sorry that you arrived on Maui on the night that there were fires and the roads were closed and you didn’t get to the resort until after 2am. I stayed up to make sure you arrived and were checked in.

Nice basic unit with a good view

This is a nice unit for 2 people. Storage is limited. The view is beautiful and much better than the photo shows. The one downside is there is a pickle ball court across the way, and they play on and off until 11PM.

Fabulous!!!

Wonderful!!!! Great view! So nice and homey! The pictures don’t do it justice. Host was immediately responsive to everything and even dropped Maui coffee off for us! Would absolutely recommend staying here! I appreciated the French press in the kitchen to make my coffee in the morning. This unit isn’t associated directly with the property since you are renting through VRBO (via hotels.com) so we were told we couldn’t use the luggage carts because of that. Not the end of the world just something to be mindful of. The fitness center on the property is $7.00 per person/day to use and is open Monday through Saturday 7a-3p. Parking was $9/day paid at check in. It was nice to have pool towels provided to change out whenever needed. The pools and hot tubs were nice and clean. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and cooler that were available in the unit. This was a fabulous stay with an even more fabulous host!!! 5 stars for sure!!!

I absolutely loved this place! The view is just amazing from the lanai ! You can hear the ocean with the sliding glass door open. Was clean upon check in and I liked that there is a door code for the door. Makes it easier than having to have a card to keep track of. It has everything you may need for your stay. Coffee pot, Blender, pots and pans, dishes, even a few things like salt and pepper. We will definitely stay again when we are in town..

I expected a clean, beautiful condominium with a spectacular view; I was amazed to find the thoughtfulness that had gone into provisioning the condo. From my choice of coffee making devices (espresso! drip! French press!) to two sizes of coolers and a selection of beach chairs and flotation devices, adding in a CD of the Road to Hana and a copy of "Maui Revealed" - I was blown away.

Great location. Lots of parking and easy in/out. Beautiful view of water. Tub and shower worked great. Love that it had an oven—some condos only have stove top and microwave. Pool areas so nice. Would totally recommend to everyone and would stay here again!
