Beautiful location!
We had a wonderful two weeks staying at The Little Stone Villa.. Nick & Linda are wonderful hosts...great communication, very helpful with directions & nothing was too much trouble... After a busy few days soaking up Athens & the Parthenon, Little Stone Villa provided a peaceful, relaxing, away from it all break..the pool was fantastic (make sure you meet Robert the pool cleaner! ;) and we spent most of our time there... The area is stunningly beautiful which you could appreciate from up on the Terrace or down by the pool...the villa provides a view across the valley to 'Boobie' mountains & right down to the amazing blue sea! The villa is located on the side of the hill so an SUV or 4x4 is very handy especially with 4 adults & luggage...Linda will meet you & show you the way down to the villa... Locally you have Enoria, Kymi & Platana...Kymi was a bit tricky to get out of once in there as there are lots of one way systems but Linda's advice is to park up just outside and walk in...there is a good supermarket there and also another large one on the road out of Kymi going North....however there are smaller mini-markets, a butcher & green-grocers down in Platana, which is only 10 minutes in the car...there is also a good Pharmacy on the left as you enter Platana, the Pharmacist spoke good English & was very friendly & helpful....Nick's advice was to stop at Lidl in Aliveri & stock up there with all the larger items..lots of restaurants along the front but our favourite seafood place was with Yianni at the Koutelou Tavern behind Glykos Pastries just to your left as you enter the village...the food was the best I've ever tasted..I had Prawns with spaghetti, simple but the flavours were outstanding! We went back the next night & chose our freshly caught fish.... We also went in Glykos Pastries for brunch one day and served by the very friendly Maria who spoke good English...nice spot to gaze over the blue sea while having a drink or snack.... Lots of choice & Linda is happy to recommend places.... We did venture up to the Moni Sotiros where visitors are allowed up to 12:30. The nuns allowed us to walk around the Monastary & opened a door at the top where you can walk out on to the rooftop & be greeted with a stunning view! You aren't allowed in the church but a nice few hours out & about... It is very quiet so you won't find lots of tourist shops or lively night-life...Little Stone Villa is a peaceful spot to un-wind & soak up Greece..perfect!

Lovely property in idyllic location
We were obviously unsure if we'd make it to Greece this year but were so very glad we did. After a difficult time, what we all really needed was a recharge and this holiday certainly delivered. Linda was very reassuring and put our mind at ease. The house was lovely and clean, in a very peaceful location with an amazing view. The pool and the pool area was our favourite way to spend our days, followed by dinner in one of the many restaurants in nearby Platana and Kymi port. If you want a holiday that is Greek Greece (we didn't encounter one Brit the whole time, bliss!) this is the place for you. We never ventured far (the nearby beaches are lovely), but didn't want to or need to and had a large choice of books to read. We'd love to come back soon!

The perfect place to read-charge batteries. Stunning views and lovely, we’ll-equipped house.
Really prompt and useful information. The little things had been thought of, no need to bring beach towels, or buy dishwasher tabs - all provided. Stunning location, the ‘real Greece’. Great choice for somewhere a little different with no pressure to do anything but relax.

Relaxing and authentic Greek holiday
Little Stone Villa is the perfect location (on the outskirts of the town of Enoria) for a tranquil and relaxing holiday on the island of Evia. The views from the terrace and the pool are stunning. The cosy villa is so well stocked it feels like 'home from home'. The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa was ideal space for our family of 4 (children 15 and 12). This was our first visit to Greece and we experienced an authentic Greek experience. The island has few non-Greek tourists. We visited the Sunday Konistres market (for fruit and vegetables, local honey) and spent many days by the pool and at the local beaches 5 to 10 drive minutes away (Kimi, Platana, Soutsini-sheltered and clear waters, perfect for snorkelling). We also ventured to Kalamos beach (30min away) with stunning turquoise waters and white sands. Enoria village is a 5 min walk up the hill from the villa offering stunning panoramic views. We watched the sun rise over the Aegean horizon from Enoria church. There are local supermarkets (Kimi town), bakeries (delicious pastries/breads), greengrocers serving smoothies and ice cream (Platana). The tavernas in local Kimi beach and Platana, Figouli (15 min walk) offer good traditional Greek cuisine or seafood. We also drove up 'Scraggy mountain' to visit the church (visible to the top right of photo 3) with breathtaking views along the coast and went hiking in the Vromonera forests with our informative tour guide Nico. All in all we had a wonderful stay on this beautiful Greek island. Thank-you to our generous host Linda for all your hospitality.

A very special place - book if you have a chance
At least once a year we rent a villa in Greece and we have been lucky to stay at some very special places. That being said, the stone cottage in Enoria far exceeded any expectations we had. We like staying in rural areas with lots of nature around and from the looks of it, the villa seemed to match our taste. We usually like to research the area before booking, there was however very little information to find on the internet about Evia, Kimi or Enoria. So we just went with our gut feeling and booked anyways. The booking process was very professional and Nick was quick to react to any query we had. On the day of arrival we were welcomed by Linda, the brave woman responsible for creating this little piece of paradise. The welcome was warm and we felt home immediately. The view from the terrace and pool are extraordinary and the house is cozy, very clean and equipped with anything you may need. We spent 14 days at this magical place, enjoying every moment of it. There are plenty of restaurants at a short driving distance, but most nights we enjoyed cooking in the cottage kitchen. The house, garden and pool are done wonderfully, with lots of love by Linda’s family. Linda was the most amazing host you can imagine – I can guarantee that you will agree if you get a chance to stay here. The area around is beautiful, ranging from spectacular mountains, to glorious beaches and cute towns. There are not many other foreign tourists around and for us that was something very special. We wholeheartedly recommend staying at the special place if you have the chance. If you are like us and enjoy authentic rural areas, cute little towns (like Kimi) and generally the unexplored, we are sure you will enjoy your time here as well. If you have the chance, book 2 weeks at a minimum – the villa and garden are so mesmerizing, that it is hard to motivate yourself to venture out. If you do however, you are in for some real treats.

Beautiful villa
We had a fabulous holiday in the beautiful Little Stone villa. Stunning views of the mountains, coastline and valley. Wonderful pool and the villa has everything you need. We were well looked after by Linda, the owner, and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Off the beaten track, so an appropriate car is a must. We thoroughly recommend this villa.

A Hidden Gem
Little Stone Villa is a hidden gem in a wonderful part of Greece. The villa itself nestles on a south facing slope of a spectacular and surprisingly lush green valley with breathtaking views of hill-top villages, rugged mountain scenery, and, apparently almost within reach, the inviting azure sea. You could (we did) happily spend hours just drinking in the vista from the very comfortable terrace with dining table and chairs. Below the house and terrace, reached by a short flight of steps, is the pool area that is at once secluded and private, but also offers a slightly different and very spectacular angle on the view. The pool, while not deep, is a good size. The loungers are comfortable and the two large shades ample. You could (we did) easily spend all day here by the pool. But there are excellent beaches, walks and other attractions nearby too. The house is well laid out with comfortable furnishings and an especially well equipped kitchen. Linda, the lovely owner, met us at the ferry terminal and guided us to the house - we'd never have found it otherwise. She is a font of knowledge about the local area and a warm and welcoming host. If you want a taste of Greece that's a little off the beaten track, yet easy to get to, and with pretty much all you could want within pretty easy reach - you'll love this place! Our week here was wonderful and will linger in the memory. We'd love to come back...

HIDDEN TREASURE
We (myself, wife and two grown-up daughters) stayed at Little Stone Cottage for a week in April 2018. We were blessed with wonderful weather which enhanced the spectacular views from the property. The property is maintained and equipped to a very high standard and the locality was very peaceful and, while we were there, 'non-touristy'. We didn't see another British tourist all week! We thoroughly recommend guided walks from Nico, a delightful chap with in depth knowledge of local nature. We will return (frequently) The Camburn family

One of the most beautiful holiday destinations
Little stone villa could not have been more perfect with breath-taking views into the mountains and a lovely homely feel to whole complex. The kitchen is equipped with every utensil you could possible need plus a healthy larder full of herbs, spices. In addition to this beautiful villa is Linda, who is one of the nicest hosts we’ve ever stayed with. She has plenty of local knowledge and will also go out of her way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I can also absolutely recommend taking advantage of Linda’s 3 course meals – we at the best calamari I’ve ever tasted! The pool during the day and the terrace for evening meals were just amazing. I can’t wait to go back and stay in one of the most beautiful holiday destinations I’ve been to!

Peaceful With Stunning Views - A Home From Home
We stayed with our two daughters (5&7) and my parents, so 6 of us in total. The Little Stone Villa blew us away, from the exquisite stonework, views from the terrace, views from the pool, views from the shower...you name it, every direction you turn there's a feast for your eyes. We loved the seclusion of the place, nestled on a mountainside and spent most evenings enjoying BBQ's on the terrace and star gazing. There are beaches within driving distance and the other Sporades islands can be visited from Kymi Port, a 10 minute drive away. This is no ordinary villa, it has been built with such love and attention to detail, that it felt like our home for the 2 weeks we were there. Linda thinks of everything, from kitchen utensils, games for the children, DVD's, books, washing powder, pool towels, bats and balls, Wi-Fi, air con, even conjuring up a box of Lego when she heard our youngest played with it. We particularly liked how the pool was a distance from the villa (36 steps, staggered over two levels, to be precise!). Having young children, this gave us peace of mind and them the freedom to roam on the top level, next to the villa, when we weren't at the pool. Not once did we fret about their safety and believe me, I can be a fretter! My parents are in their 70's and the downstairs bedroom and shower were ideal for giving them a bit of privacy (at least when the girls weren't vying to explore the games and books on the bookshelf in there). A magical place with memories made that will long outlive our holiday. We'd recommend the Little Stone Villa in a heartbeat.

Peace and relaxation in a beautiful location
We (my husband and I and four adult daughters) were made to feel at home from the start when Linda gave us a warm welcome, despite arriving much later than anticipated. The villa is beautiful with wonderful views and is very well-equipped and maintained as is the pool - just a perfect place to relax. There are two beaches worth visiting - Kalamos -beautiful and quiet - and Mourteri, which has more of a buzz. We went on a walk from the villa to the next village. The path is along the route of an old railway line so not too strenuous but with stunning views and masses of wild flowers. Linda could not have been more helpful. She cooked two delicious meals for us, took us to a garage when our car brakes developed a fault (not ideal in that terrain!), recommended restaurants and was on hand to deal with any queries. We would definitely recommend Little Stone Villa to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

Tranquil and Peaceful
We (family of four with two our daughters 21 & 18) enjoyed a relaxing time. There was nothing that wasn't there, from pool towels to every kitchen implement and the presence of Wi-Fi was a real blessing(!). We did not meet a fellow brit or a German tourist during our entire stay - this is authentic Greek territory which is free of all the usual tourist trappings and the locals we met were friendly and a little inquisitive! A couple of lanes / tracks leading to the villa was hairy the first time they were encountered but were easily mastered Nothing was too much trouble for Linda and we can recommend Linda's cooking for you during your stay. Because this is authentic Greece, the taverna menus are geared around the locals but we ate out a few times and enjoyed every meal. The "local" beaches are a 30 - 40 minute drive and an umbrella for shade is recommended. The poolside gives a choice of sun or shade thanks to trees and the parasols and the pool itself was clean and inviting. Thoroughly recommended for those wanting an away from it all holiday.

Fantastic trip
We had a wonderful family holiday at the villa. We were made to feel very welcome by Linda who is a fantastic host and cooked us an absolutely delicious feast one night. The villa felt like a real home from home. Linda had everything we could need there from washing powder to a football pump. The views are stunning from the terrace and pool. Which is where we spent most of our time. We were glad to have a 4x4 for the track to the villa and to explore around the island. The beach at Kalamos was beautiful, and practically empty when we were there. A drive through the mountains to Chiliadou was spectacular if a little precarious. All in all a perfect spot to relax in the pool and get away from it all.

Linda - Thank you for everything last week – much appreciated. We much enjoyed your delicious meal and thank you for all the help and small things that made our week very relaxing. We loved the views, quiet walks and of course the pool. Good local market, proximity to the beach for a quick dip in the morning and a wonderful beach at Kalamos is worth seeing. A great spot for a week's rest and relaxation. Thank you

Great villa, great location
We had a really nice break at the villa. It's location is superb and very quiet. The villa is comprehensively equipped and has a very nice cottage like feel about it - very welcoming. The pool is great - warm, a good size and beautifully situated. We had a number of meals cooked for us at the villa which were all plentiful and tasty. Linda goes out of her way to make sure things go smoothly and is a constant source of advice and help. Highly recommended.

Superbe maison

komfortables Haus in traumhafter Lage

What can we say....it was fabulous. Linda is an excellent host who really cares about your visit and this is reflected in the property and facilities offered. The location is so peaceful and the view spectacular.....we found it difficult to tear ourselves away to sightsee on some days. Both the terrace and pool have excellent views and our week flew by. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Absolute fantastic little stone villa!
We loved the house and we loved the island of Evia. We loved sitting on the terrace eating our meals looking at the mountains and the sea. The view was stunning. The house was very well equipped, everything you need, you could find. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of warm water in the showers. The pool was big and there were sunbeds and umbrellas. You need to have a car so you can visit the villages and the beaches. Linda was a very helpfull lady and a nice host. We love to come back again!

We are a family run business. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and delivering a holiday rental which goes above and beyond what was expected.

Why they chose this property

My parents (Greek father / English Mother) owned a business whereby they helped people buy properties in Greece. This business took them all over Greece, to every island and place of beauty. When it came to buying a property myself they advised that Evia was the most beautiful, peaceful and least touristy part of Greece. I certainly found this to be the case when visiting for myself.

After a long search we found the perfect spot, near to the village of Kymi, on the side of a mountain overlooking the bay. It really is stunning. At the time the land had a small but picturesque stone building on the plot which over the course of the next 7 years we renovated, extended, decorated and added a pool, terraced areas and much more. Many amazing times have been spent here with the family.

What makes this property unique

The first thing is the remoteness of the location. Although only a 5 minute drive to the nearest village and shops, it feels like you are a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. This is the perfect place to come if you want a relaxing and quiet holiday in the sun.

The property has everything you would ever need: Heated swimming Pool, 2 x double bedrooms, 1 x twin room, 1 x bathrooms, 1 x shower room, large open plan kitchen/diner with all mod cons, outdoor seated terrace, Wifi broadband internet (throughout the entire property), outdoor barbecue, air con.

For those wishing to venture out, there are some amazing beaches ranging from 5-40 mins drive away. Walking in the mountains also provides you with some breathtaking views. There are also lots of local taverna's, bars and restaurants.
