The secluded and tranquil location of the property (Karavomylos, Sami) makes the villa the perfect place for peaceful and relaxing holidays: Embedded in a magnificent old olive grove, offering lovely countryside views, just 2 km (5 min drive) from the little village of Karavomylos and its dreamy Natural Lake. Next bigger village is Sami (approx. 2 km from the villa) with all amenities you may need in your holidays: restaurants, cafés, shops, beaches. The spectacular beach of Antisamos is just 15 min drive from the villa. The spacious interior (185m²) is comfortably furnished, fully air-conditioned (bedrooms + living-room!) and equipped to meet the needs of all. There are 3 bedrooms + 3 bathrooms. Outside there is a private pool and a vast, sunny terrace made of light-coloured natural stone, which creates a harmonic contrast to the olive green of the surroundings. The terrace is surrounded by a carefully decorated garden with old olive trees and well-tended lawn, ideally for children to play.

The villa is fantastic, it is so peaceful away from any busy roads. The outdoor area is what makes it, with a great outdoor kitchen and big pool.Sami itself has plenty of good restaurants serving traditional greek food and you aren't far from antisamos beach which is stunning.The hosts are very friendly and communicative.

Superb Villa Stay

A beautiful and well organised second home for us during our holiday. We were particularly pleased to have bottled water supplied by the owners as it meant we didn’t have to go out looking for a supermarket.

Fabulous Villa

The warmest of welcomes from Danny and Satu who then showed us all around the villa. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and loads of room. Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water. The pool area was absolutely beautiful with 7 sunbeds and plenty of seating and a great bbq. Very peaceful just bird song and the bells on the sheep. Would absolutely recommend without hesitation. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A wonderful property. Spacious and comfortable, spotlessly clean and well provisioned for guests to a very high standard. The grounds and pool are perfect with plenty of spacious areas to relax, dine and cook. The villa is very private with covered parking and all within secure gated grounds. It's a level walk to the beach and from there along the seafront into Sami and Karavomylos for shops, restaurants and bars; both towns are a comfortable walking distance away and there are taxis available if a return walk is not on the agenda. I highly recommend this property. It was a very relaxing and welcomed break, plenty to do and located well to explore other parts of Kefalonia. I would love to return. Many thanks.

Great villa. The owner provided supplies which was appreciated. My only criticism would be the air conditioning needed to be able to go lower but this is my preference as I look to be very cool at night.

A wonderful stay

Wonderful 2 weeks spent at this gorgeous villa and its pool and gardens in a fabulous location.Good mid week clean and excellent communication from hosts. Our only suggestion would have been the option to borrow some beach umbrellas for trips out and maybe a jug for the kitchen.

Olive Garden Villas and Sami it's self is an amazing place to stay.We visited for two weeks with teenage children and had a fantastic time.The villa is very well appointed with a large pool, extensive grounds and views that allows the perception of isolation depite all amenities being reachable by foot in twenty minutes - large selection of restaurants, supermarkets , butchers and bakeries.The walk is mainly on single track roads with light vehicle traffic and is very safe.Danny and Satu are amazing hosts and go above and beyond to assist in anyway they can.Sami is a place with a sense of purpose and conveniently located to explore the island by car or even neighbouring islands by boat.WIth it being a port and home to many locals it is less tourist orrientated compared to other locations and when combined with the villa this truly offers the experience of not just holidaying but living in Kefalonia.

Comfortable and pleasant stY

We have had a very pleasant stay in the Olive Garden villa with my family. A very nice pool with soft water, a great bbq to make fish and souvlaki dinners, the house and kitchen have everything you are looking for and the airco’s keep you cool at night. Danny and Suta gave us some great tips on the neighborhood, restaurant and beaches to visit. I hope to back and recommend this villa highly. Enjoy!

Fantastic villa

This was a perfect holiday - great villa with superb outdoor living space. An easy 20/25 minute walk into the resort - Sami which we loved - fantastic choice of restaurants and bars and a lovely laid back atmosphere! Can’t fault any of it! Sami is a good central location - we explored the north and south is the island from there and it’s all within about a one hour drive

Beautiful property

A beautiful, well equipped property with a lovely outside space. The house was immaculately clean and the clean came half way through the week and changed all the linen. The owners were very informative and close to hand if we needed them. The only small downside was the distance from the town and beach but the exercise did us good.

Everything at the villa was as described. We had the most relaxing 14 nights there. Especially loved the bells of the nearby goats moving around during the day, the crickets and the general peacefulness of the villa. A car is probably needed as Sami centre was a good walk away.Hosts were very helpful but not overbearing.A few suggestions: The lower ground floor would have enough space for a bathroom making it a 3 bathroom villa. Some tuppaware would be good in the kitchen to keep the pesky ants away and a full size mirror on one of the floors would be lovely. Also it would be very handy to have an outside small frige for water by the BBQ. Otherthan that, we had the best stay, just what we needed, relaxation and peace in beautiful surroundings.Thank you

A slice of heaven….

We absolutely loved our stay at the beautiful Olive Garden Villas. There was plenty of space for our family of 6 and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the garden looking at the magnificent olive trees and surrounding mountains. The pool was just perfect, cool enough to combat the late afternoon heat each day and yet warm enough for an early morning swim. Sunrise was spectacular over the mountains and our hosts were so lovely and responsive. We felt like we were home away from home. Thank you for making our stay so magical.

Perfect retreat in Sami

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Sami. It was everything we hoped for – tranquil, peaceful, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday.The outdoor area was a highlight, especially the brilliant BBQ space where we enjoyed three fantastic barbecues. The pool was just lovely – spotlessly clean and the perfect temperature for a refreshing dip. The beds were also incredibly comfortable, and we all slept so well.The location is ideal – tucked away in the quiet countryside, offering real peace and privacy, yet only a 15-20 minute walk into Sami with its charming tavernas and beach. It really is the best of both worlds.The hosts were so friendly and helpful – always on hand if we needed anything, but never intrusive. Their warm hospitality made the stay feel even more special.We truly didn’t want to leave and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Lovely Villa with a great pool

We were met by our hosts Danny and Satou. We had a warm welcome and they showed us around. Lovely villa in the heart of an olive grove, location was good and was lovely and quiet but not to far from Sami, a nice 15-20 minute walk. Facilities were good and had a great pool area. We went last week in September so it was nearing the end of the season but still enough for us to do and see. Weather was good 25-35 degrees some days. Sea was still glorious to swim in. Overall a great week was had by everyone and wished we’d stopped a bit longer. Until next time Kefalonia.. YAMAS 🇬🇷❤️

Super villa holiday

Our first visit to Kefalonia and had a fabulous holiday. Villa was superb! Well equipped and maintained and regular maid and pool cleans.We spent many afternoons enjoying the welcome shade around the pool and the large balcony overlooking the mountains was beautiful for evening drinks. Our hosts were great and made us feel very welcome. We regularly visited the beach at Agia Paraskevi/Saint Friday which had good parking and was quieter than Antisamos. We ate in Sami a few times but preferred nearby Agia Efimia and would recommend the restaurant Amalia. An evening trip to Fiskcardo and Argostoli for dinner was also very enjoyable, allow plenty of time for journey as roads aren't great. Overall a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend Olive Garden Villas.

Kefalonia is a beautiful island, and Sami is an ideal place to stay with access to attractions locally. The vibe is very relaxed which was great for our family. We enjoyed our stay at the villa, the facilities are all immaculately clean and it is in walking distance of Sami with the best walking route via the Campsite - though if you aren't confident the walk after dark might be off putting. The villa feels secure with covered parking welcome to keep the cars out of the sun.The hosts were great; welcoming and flexible for check in times and easy to contact. The villa itself is lovely, with plenty of space to relax and socialise outside with a good range of seating areas and options. The bedrooms were comfortable, with good quality bedding and good storage. The showers were all great - warm and powerful. We also appreciated the mid week clean to freshen everything up.For our group, the basement room was a bit of an issue - it doesn't come across in the photos but it's actually got 3 beds at opposite ends of a really long space. I think children would like it but for effectively 3 couples it's the short straw. It's the only room without an ensuite too. Both the upstairs rooms are lovely with great views. Most facilities are great - there was plenty of cutlery, cups and plates etc and dishwasher tablets/washing up liquid are provided. There were some missing items like firelighters for the BBQ, and providing a simple soap/shampoo would be appreciated and the AC limit.

Vi har vært her i en uke.En nydelig plass med alle fasiliteter.Veldig hyggelige verter, og god service.Mange fine strender og restauranter i nærheten.Det ble grilling på huset og hyggelige kvelder på den fine uteplassen.Veldig fint saltvanns basseng.

Geweldig !! Wat een complete villa met een heerlijk zwembad. We hebben genoten. Danny en Satu zijn hele lieve fijne mensen die altijd voor je klaarstaan.Wij hebben 2 auto's bij finsauto gehuurd. Twee splinternieuwe MG suv's. De villa ligt iets buiten Sami en is een perfecte uitvalsbasis om het eiland te verkennen. En het strand van Antisamos is alleen vanuit Sami te bereiken. Prachtig daar ! Trouwens, Kefalonia is echt een prachtig eiland.

Sehr schöne Woche auf Kefalonia

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die Zwischenreinigung und der Austausch von Bettwäsche und Handtüchern bereit nach 3 Tagen. Der Außenbereich und Pool waren sehr gepflegt. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung.
