We had an excellent stay and the property was just as listed online (the view from the patio was actually better in person!), well appointed, clean, and very comfortable. The location is excellent and just a few minute walk to all the bars/shops/restaurants of downtown Begur. We loved it!

Fabulous stay

House was fantastic. Worked really well for four adults. Owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Fabulous views and we loved that the house was walking distance to downtown.

wonderful holiday, beautiful home - gorgeous Begur

We visited Begur in June 2015. The villa was as described on the website. Well furnished, lots of space and an easy walking distance to town centre with ample choices for food and wine. We stayed for one week and loved the local feel and loved the beaches. The view each night from the balcony was spectacular and a special memory for our family.

A Week in Begur

Our family spent a wonderful week in Begur! This villa was perfect, the views amazing, truly a lil slice of heaven. It was very well equipped, in a great location, an easy walk to town. The hosts were quick to answer any questions, everything 100%. We are already planning our next trip to Begur! Big, big thank you to Enric, Richard & Ana for all your help and recommendations! We loved our stay here!

New Year with view to castle and sea

Two families with kids 10-13y spent a wonderful timeout over new year. Spacious kitchen-dining-living room opens up to great view on the castle of Begur and the sea - nicely separated bed rooms below. We had all we needed. Many thanks for a great time.

Bike training from Begur

We spent a lovely week in this beautiful village on the Costa Brava. The house was spotless despite the oven being broken and the legs of one of the single beds. The owners had advised us that the oven had been reported broken by the previous landlords and they took steps to repair the oven, but the repairman was unable to do so during our week, probably due to a lack of parts. The historic village center is just a few minutes' walk away, and the view from the balcony is magnificent.

Fantastic villa in Begur

We were a group of 6 friends who hiked, played scrabble, did some sight-seeing, and enjoyed some good food and wine, all while looking out over the town of Begur and the sea. The view is fantastic! We took the same photo over and over, at sunrise, sunset etc. The villa is very well equipped. We found everything we needed in the spacious kitchen and it is just a short walk to a grocery store and numerous restaurants. The house accommodated the six of us quite well with some of us sharing a room. The drive in is a bit daunting the first time - quite a narrow street with a surprising small hill - but over time we got quite used to it. It is easy to walk for groceries and shopping but a car was nice to have a vehicle to get to the start of some hikes or to visit the neighbouring villages and towns which are all beautiful. Overall we enjoyed our stay there very much and would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect location, impeccable amenities.......First Class!

Over the years we have rented many properties in numerous countries, this property and location takes the top spot. The location couldn't be better, easy walking distance down to the centre of the charming village of Begur (uphill to return) with numerous shops, restaurants and cafés. The property is well equipped and has everything you need and very quiet and private. From the terrace and lounge the panoramic views of the sea and Begur castle are amazing, exactly as seen in the pictures. As in most European towns and villages, parking is at a premium so it was a bonus to be able to use the integral garage. All the sleeping accommodation is on the lower level with en-suite facilities in two of the bedrooms, and a third bathroom with walk-in shower. The beds were very comfortable with plentiful supply of bedding and new towels. Additionally, a small utility room with washer and dryer is located on the lower level. The kitchen is spacious and extremely well equipped with microwave, large oven, electric induction hob, coffee machine (Nespresso), kettle and dish-washer. We appreciated the supply of basic household items available to us on arrival. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the pool due to some unusually inclement weather during our stay, but were able to easily visit many of the surrounding picturesque villages. The provided umbrellas came in useful, thank you. During the booking process and subsequent questions, Richard (the owner) was always very responsive. If you are looking for a property that has it all, that is much better than the average then you will not be disappointed.

Location centrale pour visiter la Costa Brava. Vues de la maison tellement magnifiques. Les hotes etaient très aidants. La maison est superbe et bien equipeeNous avons eu des ennuis pour rencontrer leur personne de confiance sur place mais je crois que c est rare.Nous aurions aimé un minimum de documentation sur place (electros, visites autour, gestion des dechets et autres aspects pratiques, etc)

Superbe villa sur les hauteurs de Begur. Maison parfaitement adaptée pour une semaine de vacance avec deux couples aduktes avec des enfants. Équipements et propreté au rendez vous. Emplacement idéal dans le village et pour profiter des alentours. Superbe vue sur la mer et les Pyrénées depuis la terrasse. Hote reactif et bienveillant. Très bon accueil. Desde que reservamos este alojamiento, hemos tenido una comunicación fluida con los propietarios, que han sido muy atentos con nosotros. La villa es preciosa con una ubicación privilegiada, a tres minutos caminando del centro de Begúr, y unas vistas inmejorables. Cómoda y muy bien equipada, perfecta para disfrutar y conocer la Costa Brava en familia.

A wonderful villa in a spectacular location

This beautiful villa was the perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Superbly comfortable, it was decorated and maintained to a very high standard. It had everything we needed and more, state of the art fitted kitchen, comfortable furniture, fantastic terrace from which it was hard to tear yourself away, the views of the med and the village are amazing. We loved Begur town which was a short walk away. We ate in lots of different restaurants and found the Spanish people friendly and helpful. Loret de Mar this is not. Our favourite restaurant was Sa Rascassa in Aiguafreda. Richard and Ana were excellent hosts and we cannot wait to return.

Very nice vila!

We stayed in the house for a little longer (over 4 weeks) and had an extremely nice holiday from start to finish. The accommodation is very clean, both the check-in process and the general communication with the host was quick and easy and the view of Begur, the sea and the castle is spectacular. If something is not right, Enric solves the problem immediately. He lives nearby, so he can be on site quickly. We can recommend the house to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing holiday with the family. The good thing is that the house is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, all kitchen utensils, barbecue, towels, own garage etc. Nothing was missing. You can walk to town in 5 minutes and in 7-9 minutes by car you reach the three beautiful beaches (Sa Riera, Sa Tuna and Aiguablava). Thanks again and we will definitely be back.

Perfect Villa and location

Had a wonderful stay staying in a villa that felt so homely and had all the facilities that we needed. Location and views was fantastic with a five minute walk into Begur. Even though it was Christmas we found enough shops and restaurants open. The host Richard was very attentive and provided us with all the necessary info we required. Would not hesitate in recommending the villa and staying there again. Thanks for making our stay wonderful.
