Nestled on an elevated position in the traditional village of Alethriko, is this beautiful fully furnished 4 bedroom detached villa with private pool and large roof terrace. Sleeping up to 8 people and benefitting from an en-suite to the master bedroom, further downstairs cloakroom plus family bathroom. Three bedrooms are located upstairs, and one down stairs. A superb open plan Lounge, dining area and a kitchen which includes a dishwasher. With the added benefit of large covered area with sumptuous patio furniture ideal for lounging round the pool area and entertaining. The property also benefits from sea views from the roof terrace over the rolling countryside. Located approximately 18km’s from Larnaca Airport, around a 25 min drive to Phinikoudos Beach in Larnaca located in the town centre for a more lively experience, or travel just 10-15 minutes to one of the more undeveloped beaches on the Mazatos coast line. Situated close by is the main highway allowing easy access to Limassol, Nicosia and with Larnaca approximately a 20mins drive away. Alethrico offers a number of convenient kiosk's and supermarket. traditional Taverna and filling station, within an approximate 5 minute drive is the village of Anglisides which offers a local bakers an further Shopping. Due to the rural location of the property we do highly recommend the use of a car. We stayed at this villa for 3 weeks and it has the potential to be fantastic. It’s very spacious with 4 bedrooms, 3 toilets, and plenty of kitchen facilities. The living room has Netflix, there's a full-length mirror, aircon in every room, lots of wardrobe space with hangers, and the location is great easy to park and close to town and beaches. However, cleanliness was poor on arrival: bins hadn’t been emptied, crumbs on tables, dirty toilets, rubbish in drawers, and brown water from the taps. It felt like it hadn’t been used in a while. Luckily, after we contacted the management company the next day, cleaners came and improved things. The swimming pool is a great size but clearly needs more regular maintenance. It began developing mould, and during our stay, it was only cleaned once. Toward the end of our stay, wasps and hornets were drawn to the water coming from the aircon unit outside, making the pool less enjoyable though we were mostly at the beach. In summary: a great villa in terms of space, comfort, and facilities, but cleanliness and maintenance need real improvement. With more consistent care, this property could be perfect.

Great location, very peace##ful

Property was a standard holiday villa. Its major plus points is 1. The location is brilliant - in a very quiet area in the village overlooking fields 2. It is airy - we went in October and ac not required. 3. No barking dogs nearby! 4. No cars roaring past nearby 5. Comfortable beds Things that could be improved: 1. The addition of a water cooler - it is more eco friendly than buying lots of plastic bottles. 2. The shower in the main bedroom needs renovating or replacing - it leaks and the sealant looks old. 2. Bigger toaster - the villa is meant for 8 but toaster can only do 2 at a time. 3.More teaspoons - only 2 4 More tea towels - only one. 5. Improve the instructions how to get there. The instructions reference a board at the turnoff acros sthe bridge at teh entrance to the road leaning to the villa. The sign for 'Mountain Garden' has been completely bleached - it is not visible even on a bright day and useless at night. That said, we would probably stay there again - location is great.

Nice place, poo management

We arrived at the property, unfortunately for us there was a stray pit bill inside the property. The dog was drinking out the pool, constantly jumping over the gate to remain on the property front door, harassing us. We have two young children so this was quite alarming and worrying for us constantly. Now we know stray dogs are a problem, we contacted the property management company constantly on our stay, to be told ‘what can we do’ and for us to capture the dog ourselves. These calls were constant (us chasing the company) for something to be done, nothing was done. There was a mention of them building a more secure gate, this did not happen as they said it would cost too much, but yet the pit bull being around our children didn’t seem a problem to them at all. The property was nice, we did get some compensation, however this was 3 weeks of us chasing and a very painful process. It was supposed to be a relaxing holiday, but ended up being quite stressful, mainly because we were in constant contact the the property management company that did not seem to care about the safety of our children. We won’t be staying again.

As the management agent for the property owner, we did everything within our power to help resolve this unfortunate issue. We were in constant communication with the local dog warden who attended the property frequently to try and catch the dog and placed traps, the municipality and even contacted the local mayor and persuaded him to personally visit the property to see the issue. During this time, we tried to keep you constantly informed of the progress, arranged for additional cleaning and disinfection of the area around the property and provided compensation for the inconvenience. We wished that we could do more, but this was a situation outside of our control and needed to be resolved by the authorities. Fortunately, this was resolved, and the dog was captured. We would welcome you to come back and stay at the property and fully enjoy this exceptional villa.

Udany pobyt w dobrej cenie

Przestronna willa w małej miejscowości 10 km od lotniska w Larnace. Okolica bardzo spokojna, blisko łąk i pól, samochód jest koniecznością. Miejsca jest wystarczjąco dla 8 dorosłych osób. Dom nie jest nowy i czasy świetności ma już za sobą, jednak jest czysty i dobrze wyposażony. Basen nieduży, ale czysty i zadbany. Bardzo dobra komunikacja z obsługą, czuliśmy się dobrze zaopiekowani - doświadczyliśmy niemiłej sytuacji w związku z awarią pompy wody, jednak szybko i sprawnie zostałą ona usunięta. Wszystkie te drobne niedogodności rekompensuje naprawdę dobra cena, więc z czystym sercem polecamy tym którzy są gotowi na małe kompromisy.

La maison en elle même est sympathique mais assez loin de tout Après nous avons personnellement apprécié le côté campagne et calme J'ai payé un supplément Clim et celle de la salle à manger qui n’était pas précisé sur l’annonce en français ! L’équipement en vaisselle est plus que limité pour une maison censée accueillir 8 personnes…aucun saladier par exemple, pas de bol etc La table de jardin est toute petite et que pour 4 personnes…un peu compliqué quand on est 6…l’extérieur n’est pas très grand également notamment autour de la piscine Le ménage était plus qu aléatoire partout dans la maison : miettes de pain dans les rainures de la table en verre..grain de raisin sur le plan de travail ..wc plein de tartre...bac de douche qui ne s'écoule pas car bonde pas vidée et pleine de cheveux... Nous avons eu la désagréable surprise de nous réveiller avec des piqûres de puces de lit (les démangeaisons ont gâché les vacances de 4 des 6 personnes que nous étions) qui, eux, ne sont même pas équipés d aleze ce qui niveau hygiène me semble plutôt moyen Bien déçue et agacée car le prix payé au final n’est vraiment pas à la hauteur de la prestation proposée Je tiens à préciser que j’ai écrit a l’agence gérante pendant le séjour qui a été réactive et m’a répondu que s’il fallait acheter de la vaisselle elle pouvait envoyer quelqu’un …que s’il fallait faire venir une entreprise de désinsectisation elle le ferait aussi etc mais je n’ai pas donné suite car nous n’étions sur place qu’une semaine et je ne vois pas comment le problème aurait pu être résolu si rapidement Si je fais remonter tout cela c’est surtout pour les futurs vacanciers pour qu’ils n’aient pas les mêmes mauvaises surprises que nous

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate the positive comments regarding the property this certainly is a stunning property in a quiet relaxed location. We have already spoken to the property owner regarding the need to replace some of the kitchen equipment which has been broken/lost over the last season and will be installing these in the property before the next bookings arrival. We take the sanitation of the property very seriously and the property is regularly checked by a specialist company for pests. While based on the photo of the bites you sent it looked like it was most likely caused by mosquitos, we wanted to be 100% sure so we arranged for a specialist company to come and check the property, however, as you understandably did not want any disruption to your stay you requested for us to wait until after your departure to have the property checked. Following your departure, the company performed a full inspection of the property and confirmed that there are no bugs in the furniture of the property (A copy of this certification was sent to you by email). We also showed them the photos you sent and they advised us these bites look like they are from a common type of small mosquito known locally as ‘noseeums’. Based on their recommendations we organised for insect flyscreens to be installed on all windows in the property so guests can enjoy the local breeze without fear of being bitten. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this caused, unfortunately, due to the unusual weather this year I understand this has been a problem in most areas of Cyprus. We hope that you will choose to stay with us again and are sure you will be pleased with the additional furnishings and benefits of the new fly screen installation.

Flot stor villa

Langt ude på landet, fin stor villa, ren og pæn. Udlejer er utrolig hurtig til at svare på henvendelser, store som små. Det var virkelig rart. Helt ro og fred hele dagen. Nætterne var ofte fulde af hundegøen og katte-slåskampe. Skøn udsigt, fin pool, lidt trangt med pladsen omkring poolen og loungemøbler meget beskidte. Der boede en hund i møblerne udenfor, i øvrigt den skønneste hund som vi forelskede os totalt i. Den påstod at den boede dér og forlod ikke matriklen den uge vi var der.

The Villa was clean and spacious. Adequately supplied for 8 people. One of the bedrooms is downstairs with 2 single beds. It would have been useful to have a summary instruction booklet, especially for TV channels. We only found Arab stations on the satellite, UK or Cypriot stations were unavailable! For us the outside space lets the Villa down. Only 2 sun loungers! The Villa is for 8 people! Although, there isn’t anywhere outside around the pool to place more loungers. The pool is very close to the patio doors with only a small surround for walking around. The seating area is to the rear and not convenient or user friendly. We stayed for 12 nights and there wasn’t clean sheets or towels supplied to allow for changing. The Villa manager responded quickly to our request and fresh sheets sent over the next day. An issue that arose was the electric tripping. This happened when I plugged in my hairdryer and when we turned on the cooker hob. The direction instructions for Villa were good and accurate. We arrived late so having the outside light on would have been useful.

Amazing Place, Amazing Neighbors, and Amazing overall

We stayed at the rental for a little over 2 weeks (July 28th to August 12 - 2021). It was 4 adults, 2 teenagers, a 5 year old and an 8 month old. The home was well put together and great interior design. The kitchen was well equipped with what we needed and the linens were clean on arrival which we were so thankful for because we landed at 1am. We had a bit of an issue with the water boiler breaking and leaking but the property manager was always a call away and handled the situation. Any issue we had he was very good with returning our calls on a timely manner. The man across the street was VERY nice and helped us out so much. Very welcoming to us. The pool was great, the kids enjoyed it so much. The listing says that there are 2 rooms with king beds, one of those rooms with a crib, although when we got there the 2 rooms were queen/double sized. Overall this stay was amazing and I would definitely recommend it and plan to stay at this house again next time we visit Cyprus. Location is great- 10/15 minutes away from the beach and about half hour to the city.

House is nice and yard not bad. Outdoor furniture was very dirty. Indoor house was clean and specious. Many bulbs burned and main umbrella which is necessary for shade was broken. we reported and no one came to fix it. location is quiet. car is a must

Τα θετικά ήταν: καθαρή πισίνα, ευρύχωρο σπίτι, δεν υπήρχε οχλαγωγία. Τα αρνητικά ήταν: σπασμένη ομπρέλα, δεν υπήρχαν λάμπες σε όλα τα φωτιστικά, η τηλεόραση είχε μόνο αράβικους σταθμούς, ο βραστήρας δεν είναι για χρήση αφού είναι ακατάλληλος, ο φούρνος θα έπρεπε να βρίσκετε στη γλώσσα των επισκεπτών που θα έρχονταν κ οι καναπέδες κ τα κρεβατάκια που βρίσκονται έξω, δεν ήταν σε πολύ καλή κατάσταση!!!

Location was good

The listing was as shown, the overall location with good and quiet. The directions to the property left much to be desired was a struggle to find the property limited/no sign directing us. Once found bed sheets were bug ridden and got bit heavily the first evening. The internet provided went down three days before the leaving and contacting property management was a struggle because it was a weekend. The overall stay was good and would definitely stay again.

A nice place to live and relax ...

We spent seven wonderful days in a beautiful and spacious villa. All installations worked perfectly and our visit was well prepared. The villa is centrally located in a quiet village and most attractions and hotspots in Cyprus can be reached in less than 90 minutes, many of them even in only 30 to 60 minutes. We were very satisfied.

This villa is beautiful and has everything that you need and more. We had had 2 lovely weeks holiday there. The local people were very friendly, mixture of Cypriot's and English living near by. The gentleman that looks after the pool lives opposite the villa and was very nice. He spoke to the children when doing the pool. The children loved the pool and spent a lot of time in it, our daughter even learned to swim in it. The villa is very comfortable and had everything that you need. No need to take travel adaptors as the sockets are the same as the UK. Well equipped with cooking utensils, cooker took a little working out (but so or worked it out). There is also a hairdryer, iron ect. We recommend the restaurant opposite the petrol station, bakers and take way. There is so much to see in and around the area, most definitely recommend that you hire a car. Most of the tv is in Arabic, but did find a couple of American tv channels but no English tv. There was no internet, which was lovely as it ment we spent quality family time together, playing games, cards and talking. Hope whoever users the villa after us have a great holiday😊
