Luxury Lakefront 7 Bedroom/ 5.5 Bath Home

This luxury lakefront home is Lake Cumberland Resort's largest rental home. It features over 4000 square feet of air conditioned space plus approximately.2000 square feet of covered and open air decking and porches. The main home can comfortably sleep 14 guests with its 6 bedrooms. In 2019, a detached garage/loft bunk house were added to the property. The Bunk/loft house contains 2 bunk beds (full over queen) and a full bath in 560 sf of Living and recreation space. Stairs to the loft space are required and can be a concern for elderly guests or mobility issues. The bunk house is part of the standard home rental agreement. Guests who are renting the home may inquire directly with the owner about removing the guest home access from the agreement and potentially lower the overall rental rate. *** Note -All garages on site are for the owners private use. Guests are NOT provided access to any of the garages on site ***

Our main home features six bedrooms (three king-size, two queen, two full, one sleeper sofa and one crib) and four and a half baths.
The two-story great room features a gas fireplace with stone surround and an amazing view of the lake. We have upgraded (2013) the television to 55" flat panel with stereo surround.
Relax on the front covered wrap-around porch featuring rocking chairs. . Or, opt for the 14 X 26 rear finished porch with cathedral ceiling and recessed lights. The rear porch offers a direct view to the lake and is equipped with ceiling fan, eating area for 10 and separate sitting/food prep area. We have added HVAC to rear porch for year round use. Folding tables and chairs are available for dining of more than 10 guests. We have also added a second refrigerator to the rear porch as we have learned that guests staying for a week bring a lot of food and beverage with them!

The master suite located on the main level boasts a jacuzzi tub with separate shower and its own walkout to deck . Adults and children both rave about the finished lower level recreation room complete with wet bar, mini refrigerator, billiard table, foosball, ping pong, bar with 6 stools, and a poker table. We have added a touch screen video game as well that is fun for all ages. The second floor TV nook is perfect for kids brining their xbox or playstation gaming system with them.

There is a large collection of games and toys for toddlers/children and even adults for evening entertainment. Step out of the lower level recreation room to another large screened porch featuring a six person hot tub and benches for relaxing.

In 2019 we added another 65’ of lake frontage lot to our existing property now totaling 160' of beautiful Lake Cumberland frontage. We now offer a separate new driveway that is 30’ wide and 120’ long for boat and trailer parking for our guests. Guests no longer have to move their cars and boats around to enjoy the property. We can accommodate multiple boats. Our discerning boat owners love the ability to wash their boats right in our driveway. A new courtyard has been created between the main house and the owners private detached garage. The courtyard boasts a custom fire pit, covered porch, and a new ground level deck for guests to enjoy. You will never run short on areas to gather, relax and enjoy the outdoors at this beautiful property.

The house is equipped with whole house stereo/CD/Bluetooth capable player with separate volume controls in each critical area. For smaller children, a second floor loft features a TV with DVD and is stocked with Various movies. This is a great spot for guests to bring their own Xbox/playstation gaming system. Babies/toddler's needs will also be met as there is a crib, high chair and toddler booster seat, double stroller and many toys/books and magazines.

Our home is located approximately 500 yards from the boat ramp(check for availablity) and pool(seasonal) and has 2 large driveways available for boat/jet ski and multiple car parking. It is very easy to park your boat in both our driveways.

Lake Cumberland Resort, Kentucky's finest gated community, offers 24 hour security patrol as well as gate control access to each community. The resort has three swimming pools (one is walking distance from our house), tennis court, and a country store for basic supplies. The office also includes a restaurant featuring some breakfast and pizza options. Please check for restaurant hours. The resort is situated on a 1000 acre peninsula adjacent to the Daniel Boone National Forest- the perfect place to explore on an ATV.

PLEASE NOTE*** Our home is not part of the Lake Cumberland Resort rental program. This means that the owner rents the home himself instead of using the resort rental agency. Minimum stays applicable to Holidays and peak season Guests still have access to all resort amenities including swimming pool and boat ramp. please note we normally block out the entire peak season until we are clear on our personal use calendar and then we release certain dates. you are welcome to email us your requests to see if we can accommodate it, even if it is currently showing as blocked.
As an enhanced security feature for guests we have recently installed a Ring Alarm and camera system. Please not there are no cameras located on the interior of the home or guest loft. The cameras are utilized only to monitor exterior access to the main house and the guest loft as well as the two driveways.

My wife and I bought the lakefront lot in 2002 when we were first married with a vision of family vacations at the lake. Construction followed a few years later in 2005. It has come to fondly be known as the 'Tucky House since it was built when our kids were toddlers and they could not say the word "Kentucky." Yet, they always wanted to go visit the Tucky House and the phrase stuck. This is our only vacation home, and not a multiple vacation property business. as a result, you will find many upscale amenities normally not found in rental homes. It is also the reason why we rent the home ourselves to make sure we personally speak with all our prospective tenants and find just the right fit! For us, we wanted to be on the lake all day and then have the finer amenities at night. We built the home large enough to always bring friends and family with us. We are proud of our home and you will note personalized photos throughout. It is also the reason we strive to speak to every prospective guest in our home before agreeing to rent it. We want families to enjoy the amazing space we have created but also work hard to preserve the quality of the home for everyone.

Fast forward to 2019 and our family now boasts three teenagers. If you have teenagers you understand that they always prefer to bring their friends. So, we decided to buy the vacant land next to our home and expand our property and amenities so our children and guests had an even greater ability to relax, unwind and enjoy. We created a place for teenagers and adults alike to enjoy everything that a vacation home at the lake could possibly offer. It is NOW a true one of a kind property, unlike anything we have experienced in our resort or around the lake. The Teen/guest house is included as part of the standard home rental agreement. However you may inquire directly to the owner about options for reserving the main house only if possible.

Why they chose this property

We believe the home is the perfect place for multiple families to gather. It is large enough to accommodate multi generations of families meeting from all over the country. With the addition of the large finished porch, the entire family can eat meals together. However, the home also offers plenty of space for peace and quiet with kids playing outside or in the lower level while the adults relax on the main level. There is nothing better than a long day of boating on the most beautiful lake in the country (personal opinion) followed by a perfect family meal and gathering in an upscale home. Our kids love the home because the large front yard and the property offers opportunities to play kickball and other activities like bike riding and frog catching.

What makes this property unique

Many vacation homes will “pack” as many guests into a bedroom as possible. Do you really want several other people sleeping in your bedroom? Our guests tell us that our home and property allow guests ample space to enjoy family together or retreat to their bedroom and other areas for privacy. Additionally, the recreational opportunities for adults and children alike at our property are unmatched by any other home in the area.
