Location was perfect! Ample parking, easy walking to downtown and to grocery stores and such. Hosts were very responsive. Had a few issues with the wifi not connecting to the tv but minor. Underground parking was a definite perk in the winter. We had our family of 10 stay and we were all comfortable. Bathrooms upstairs very odd- no doors- so pretty much used the main floor bathrooms instead. Beds and bedding were great - definitely will consider staying there again for our next trip to Canmore.
Canmore crossing is in an excellent location in Canmore, near grocery stores and shopping. We stayed here to ski Banff Sunshine and Lake Louise and found it a great place to wind down after a full day on the slopes. The building was quiet and the condo was fully equipped with everything we needed.
We went to Canmore and Banff with our grown kids. Great location everything you needed was within walking distance for the most part. We loved being able to just walk downtown for a walk or dinner.
Great location. Did not like open bathroom concept.

Great rental in a great location.
The rental had everything we needed and also had the national park pass which saved us money and time. The iPad has great resources to help explore the area and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed this rental as it was roomy enough for the entire family.

Very dated and poor quality stay. Furniture unsafe and beds are poor. The condos were dirty. We stayed as a family of 12 in two condos and we were all uncomfortable with the cleanliness and comfort. The price was very expensive for what we received. Many better options.

Hi, as per my response to the other review you left... thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Although many guests have praised the artist-crafted furniture, we do realize that it may not be appreciated by everyone. Since your review, we have actually changed the dining chairs you remarked upon. We take feedback very seriously and have made changes to the cleaning team to ensure that the lapse you experienced does not happen again. We hope you will return for another visit so that you can experience what the vast majority of our guests love about our lofts!

The property is in a great location! The condo was not as clean as I would expect. The “artesian” furniture which is made of rough wood was extremely dusty and the dining room console table and wood with the silk looked like fur it was so dusty! Chair pads were so worn out and dining chairs extremely uncomfortable. The upstairs bathroom is very awkward and absolutely NO privacy.

Beautiful views and a prime location with almost everything you need in walking distance. The only drawback was the heat from the sun in the afternoon. There is no A/C or if there is it doesn't work. Despite the outside temp dropping after sunset the unit (especially the lofts) would stay warm until 3-4am. Even with opening windows and using the supplied fans it was difficult to sleep.

Birthday Getaway with Friends
Amazing views, easy access to everything, and plenty of space for the group.
The 2 condo units are basically identical, which was great as our group was easy to split, but may not be so easy for everyone.
The furnishings were quite nice, and eclectic, but also very delicate. It was too cold to use the hot tubs, or ski, but we enjoyed our stay in the havens.
Warm and comfortable. The two apartments worked well for 2 couples plus 2 additional adults. The loft rooms were fine for us because we are all family or close friends. Loft rooms without doors on the toilet is uncomfortable if you aren't family. We were all happy to use the main bathroom downstairs during the day.
This is NOT a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit!!!! The 2nd bedroom is a loft that is open to the first floor. The bathroom is literally in the bedroom!!!! Only Separated by a half wall..The furniture is ugly and old and you would not want to even sit on it. This is the worst place we have EVER stayed in. Don’t waste your money.

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are sorry that the furniture was not to your taste. In the interest of transparency… the furniture is not old; it is crafted by artisans using prized, vintage barnwood. As should be evident in the photos and detailed descriptions, ours is definitely not the cookie cutter IKEA decor present in 90 percent of listings.
Regarding the layout, the loft is also clearly described. We even have a room by room description of what is in each. We are sorry you were not satisfied. We work hard to provide a good stay, and never want to disappoint.
Everything was clean and nice. We loved that we could get groceries easily. The hot tub reservation system was easy to use and it was nice to have it to ourselves.
The only thing I would change about the condo layout is for the upstairs bedrooms to have enclosed bathrooms. Depending on who is in your travel group, an open bathroom can be awkward.
I would definitely be happy to stay here again. We had a great time.
Very comfortable and convenient for us. We could put the children to bed and then the adults all played cards. We made use of the hot tub. Designated parking is a plus. Canmore was so much quieter and less crowded than Banff. It was odd that the upstairs bathrooms were in the bedroom with no door for privacy.
We stayed in Canmore and overall had a relatively nice experience. The location is very central, with easy access to shops like Safeway and Canadian Tire — definitely convenient, but keep in mind that the unit overlooks the parking lot, so sitting out on the balcony isn’t exactly scenic. The hot tub was a nice feature and a great way to relax after a day of exploring. One downside was the lack of air conditioning — the rooms got quite warm, and even with fans, it was tough to keep things cool during the hotter days. The furniture and decor are unique — a bit quirky, but everything functioned fine. The real highlight is the location: excellent access to both Canmore and Banff, which made getting around really easy. The host was very professional and prompt with information and guidelines. While there were a few drawbacks, we still immensely enjoyed our stay.

Canmore family stay
We were 5 adults and 1 13 year old and the two condos worked well...location is fantastic...we drove to Banff and Lake Louise on day trips and enjoyed being able to grocery shop or dine out within minutes of condo. Setup with unwalled bathroom in loft is tricky...can't go to bathroom while everyone in kitchen or living room. Otherwise good....

Glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Honeymooners love our loft bathroom, but it is indeed not to everyone's taste. Fortunately, each unit has a second bathroom that is conventional, with door and walls :-) We love the convenience factor as well, and hope to welcome you back in the future!
The place was as advertised and perfect for our stay. The owner was very responsive and kind enough to let us check in early. The only issue is with the open toilets and bathrooms in the lofts. They're not overly usable due to the lack of privacy, especially the toilets that are adjacent to the beds. Nobody was comfortable using them. Even makeshift walls/stand up dividers would help. Aside from that, definitely recommend this place to all.

Much smaller than advertised.
The location was perfect! Right downtown Canmore. A little difficult finding the building, they are not well indicated. The units had everything one might need. Very well organized but really made for 4 max 5 per unit. The pull out couches were old and very uncomfortable and one unit had a broken one. If you are a small group, this works perfect.

Hi Louise,
Thanks for your feedback. Glad you felt the condos had everything you needed and that you liked the location. The size of the condo is exactly as advertised, which is 1000 square feet each. We took your feedback seriously and have since replaced both sofabeds, this time with memory foam mattresses, so they are much more comfortable! We hope to welcome you back in the future to try them out!

We were traveling with 10 adults, 3 trucks, with trailers hauling 6 motorcycles unaware that there was no parking available other then 2 assigned stalls in the parking garage and no trailers were allowed to park in the garage We were told we could park at Cabela’s or Walmart which were a hour away or call the visitor center see what they would offer. Fortunately we did find parking for our vehicles close by on our own. Upstairs had no privacy to bedroom or bathroom so when someone was using the facilities it was very awkward because we all heard it downstairs. There were 2 beds in each loft. (We rented 2 lofts). There was a couch in the living to sleep on and another maybe trundle like bed with a very then cushion on it. The quiet policy was stressed to us several times. And yet we were woke up at 4 am to continuous pounding for at least 1/2 hour. There is also a bad leak in the hallway on the 4th floor making the carpet very wet. At 6:00am someone was using a chainsaw.
The townhomes are in a very secure building with a great location. Easily walkable to all the shops and restaurants on Main Street in downtown Canmore. Close to several parks and walking/jogging trails. Plus grocery and liquor stores were located just across the parking lot. There were ample sleeping areas to house a large group and a great view of the mountains from the balcony. On-site parking was very helpful.
Of note, this property is on the 4th floor. I don’t know how frequently this happens but the elevator was not working for our entire stay. This was difficult for our group which included my elderly parents, a pregnant woman and a toddler. Additionally the key pad to enter one of the units lost power one night, locking us out of the unit until the property manager was able to arrive.
Be advised, the listing advertises it sleeps 12, however there is a flat fee up to 8 people then a per person per night charge after that.

About the host
Hosted by S Chin
Travel is somewhat of an obsession with us, and having traveled extensively in over 50 countries, we can quite safely say that the Canadian Rockies (and especially Banff National Park) still holds up as one of our favorite spots in the world.
Why they chose this property
We fell head over heels in love with this awe-inspiring location during a vacation here and had hardly scratched the surface of available activities in those 2 weeks. When we realized that it would take a lifetime to enjoy the gifts of the area, we quickly decided that we wanted to own a slice of heaven... to have a special place to rejuvenate our minds, reassess our priorities and recalibrate our lives.
We first purchased one penthouse loft, loved it so much that we purchased another loft! Hence, we now have TWO SIDE-BY-SIDE lofts that we are proud to share with you. These 2 lofts can be rented separately, or together (for large groups).
Come experience the magic of the Canadian Rockies!
What makes this property unique
You won't find another property with such meticulously hand-crafted furnishings. Virtually every piece of furniture was designed and commissioned by us, lovingly crafted with the skilled hands of Canadian and American artists. In most cases, the artists traveled to our home to personally install their masterpieces, so as not to leave their prized works of art in the hands of shipping companies!
But unique decor is not the only benefit. MASSIVE walls of glass with jaw-dropping views, plus a location that is unsurpassed... make our properties winners with large and small groups alike!
