Lovely private studio apartment close to city center.
incl free parking, use of free bikes and boat (for a canaltour April-October)

Wonderful and modern apartment on the ground floor in a very convenient location close to the city center of Groningen.
Location is perfect, very near to the bus stop and only a 10 minute walk / 5 minutes on our free bike to the city center. and only 5 minutes walk to the park (Noorderplantsoen)

The Schilderbuurt area is a very popular area, it is also very quiet and close to the city center. It is located close to bars and shops.
The Schilderswijk is not touristic but always vivid.
The parc (Noorderplantsoen is very nearby)

Bus stop is only around the corner
(if I am available it is possible to pick you up from the train / bus station)
You will make it on the highway in just a couple of minutes.

The apartment is very spacious (45 m2), it is wonderfully designed with excellent use of space making it feel much larger then the photos suggest.
It has a modern bathroom with lovely shower and a separate toilet.
Is has a comfortable bed (160 x 200, or 2x 80x200) dining table, and closets
The studio is also equipped with a flat screen TV, movie collection and a comfortable sofa

The kitchen is equipped with the necessary kitchen attributes, electric stove, microwave / oven, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, water boiler, pots and pans, plates, cutlery and glasses.
The fridge is stocked with the essentials.
You will find in the bathroom; washing machine, hairdryer, shampoo, soap, towels etc)

Our shared garden, located at the canal, is perfect for coffee and breakfast or an evening nightcap.
Because a boat ride? In the summer you can use our demolition to make a trip on the canals.

The perfect way to explore Groningen is the typical Dutch way; by bike!
We have two, free of charge, bikes available. These are included in the price.

Beautiful apartment on the water.

Wonderful studio near the center
This wonderfully stylish studio (45 m2) is located on the ground floor.

It is beautifully centrally but also very quietly located in the Schildersbuurt of Groningen, directly on the Reitdiep.

This spacious apartment has a kitchen, private bathroom with washing machine, and a separate toilet. The studio is fully furnished. It has a spacious double bed (160x200) or 2 twin beds (80x200). Wifi and digital TV, DVD and audio are also available.

You can use the communal garden / jetty, but also the boat on the water.

Nespresso machine, milk frother and kettle are of course available.

There are 2 beautiful bikes available for free and there is a sloop that can be used in the summer months for a trip through the canals of Groningen (01 may till 01 oct).

The location was fantastic. The studio was roomy and comfortable and we felt right at home. Olaf and Natalie were wonderful hosts and surprised us with breakfast several mornings which was very kind. Highly recommend.

De accommodatie was schoon en na een week werden de bedden verschoond en de afval verwijderd en alles werd schoon gemaakt. Er waren een paar kleine dingen die tegen vielen, zoals: de parking was niet bij de deur maar in een andere straat was een krappe garagebox gehuurd, dus men moest eerst, meestal door de regen, naar de garagebox om de auto te halen. Deze garagebox had 2 openslaande deuren die met een haak opengehouden kon worden, maar voor ons was deze haak te Hood, daarom moesten wij altijd met ons tweetjes naar de garagebox , zodat 1 de deuren open kon houden. Tevens was er bij de ingang een zeer hoge stap van 30 cm niet echt joviaal voor oudere, kleine mensen. Verder staat in de advertentie dat er 1 slaapkamer moest zijn, maar alles was open.

Kurzurlaub-Groningen

Sehr angenehme, gemütliche und gut gelegene Unterkunft. Unsere Gastgeber Olaf und Nathalie waren sehr einfühlsam und zuvorkommend. Kleine Gesten, wie Kaffee und Kekse zwischendurch, sowie ein leckeres Frühstück kamen überraschend hinzu. Am letzten Tag wurden wir von Olaf zu einer Grachtenrundfahrt in seinem Bötchen eingeladen, bei der wir viel über Groningen dazugelernt haben. Einen ganz herzlichen Dank an Olaf und Nathalie, die für uns immer ansprechbar waren.

Heerlijk!

We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad bij Lovely Riverside Studio in Groningen: de gastvrijheid van Olaf en Nathalie is fantastisch. Plus: de heerlijke, rustige locatie op loopafstand van de stad, de luxe en alle heerlijke extra’s, de aanwezigheid van fietsen, alle goede tips gecombineerd met privacy in een hele fijne vakantiewoning. We zouden iedereen deze locatie van harte aanbevelen!

Alles super wie beschrieben

Hier wurden schon die vielen pos. Vorzüge der Unterkunft und auch der Gastgeber hervorgehoben, das kann ich alles nur bestätigen. Besonders das Viertel hat uns sehr gefallen, hier gibt es viel zu entdecken. Tipp: Essen im "goud eten" und Brötchen von "Warme Bakker Rob van Dijk". Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Die Ferienwohnung ist traumhaft schön, die Gastgeber überaus herzlich und zuvorkommend.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in toplage

Schöne Wohnung nahe der Altstadt. 6 von 5 Sternen für Olaf, der sich sehr um uns gekümmert hat. Highlite der Wohnung ist die Terrasse am Kanal mit Boot, SUP und Fahrrädern. Wir kommen gerne wieder. 👍

Rundherum gelungen

Es waren tolle Tage in der geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohnung mit Terrasse zur Gracht. Sehr ruhig gelegen und trotzdem zentral, alles sehr gut mit dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuss zu erreichen. Fantastische studio

Een super weekend gehad in de studio van Olaf en Nathalie. Een verblijf met echt alles erop en eraan. Het is schoon, een heerlijk bed en qua inrichting met oog voor detail. De gastheer was zeer behulpzaam, kregen goed advies over waar we lekker konden dineren en was ons gehele verblijf goed bereikbaar. Kortom een enorme aanrader deze studio!!!

I would rate everything a 6 if I could

Such a gem....big enough to relax into, completely away, but easy walking distance (to say nothing of biking distance) to all of downtown Groningen, AND it's right on the river. Super comfy bed (none of this '2 twin beds' thing that's common in Dutch hotels), and the kitchen was a treat. Very 'home away from home.' And, of course, Olaf and Nathalie (though I only met Nathalie briefly) were totally accommodating. Olaf is a such an engaging guy: both knowledgeable and curious. I expect we could have talked for hours. I'd love it if we crossed paths again, someday. If you're in Groningen, and the Riverside Studio is available, don't hesitate. This is the one you want.

Eine tolle Zeit in Groningen. Familie Jansonius war herzlich, liebenswert u. sehr hilfsbereit

Sehr gastfreundlich !!!

Wir wurden sehr gastfreundlich empfangen. Es stand eine Flasche gekühlter Wein, Obst und Infomaterial auf dem Tisch. Im Kühlschrank war Milch, Saft und 2 Flaschen Bier. Kaffe ist auch da gewesen. Wenn wir gewollt hätten, hätten wir Morgens Cappuccino und frisch gepressten Saft bekommen können. Obwohl Olaf nur 3 Tage vor Ort war, hat er mit uns eine Bootstour durch Groningen gemacht. Wir haben sehr viel über Groningen erfahren. Als Olaf nicht mehr vor Ort war, hat er trotzdem noch Kontakt zu uns gehalten. Die Lage ist super. Man kann in dem Kanal schwimmen. Die kleine Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet. Vielen Dank für alles Tanja und Bernd

Erg fijne plek, aanrader

We hebben een heel fijn lang weekend in het appartement gehad. Voor ons werd door de gastheer en -vrouw goed gezorgd. Met de fietsen bij het appartement konden we makkelijk de stad verkennen.
