About this property
Welsh Farmhouse, ideal for larger families. Sleeps 10
This is an Original main farmhouse on a working farmyard. We are 4 km from the National Park, on top of hill with sea views. We are 2km from Castle Morris, 8km from Fishguard, 12km from St Davids and the County town of Haverfordwest. We are a Traditional Stone Farmhouse built accommodation with slate flooring on the ground floor. We are family friendly and have 5 very large bedrooms. We also include a pool table, football table, BBQ, large trampoline in the garden and small football goals outside.
With large rooms and a large Garden, this private farmhouse has ample room for large family gatherings. We are also Child friendly. Accommodation is ideal for 10 people. It could sleep more but is only advertised for 10 due to having 2 bathrooms upstairs. If you do not mind sharing there are beds for more so please contact us if you require extra numbers.
Direct Sea views are available outside and from a couple of the upstairs bedrooms. With great views from the nearby trig point. The farm has its own water supply from a nearby spring and as it is on the top of a hill enjoying (when clear) 360 degree views of the surrounding country side. You can even see Ireland on exceptionally clear days. The farmhouse is situated on a working farm which is why we cannot allow any pets. This is an ideal location , centrally located to visit Pembrokeshire.
There is a local pub in Castlemorris with more shops in Letterston some 4km away. There is storage for bicycles and a BBQ. This is a genuine opportunity for guests to experience the real Pembrokeshire from a traditional farmhouse superbly located in the middle of the surrounding National Park Area.
Quiet rural location, Easy access to National park and surrounding beaches. Access to the adjoining fields is usually fine but please check with the farmer first before entering.
We are away for this period so interaction is with our neighbours whom we have known for many years
James and Ceris live in the barn next door. They farm the land surrounding the farm house and are from a local family that have lived in the area for several generations. They are good friends of ours and have a young family with three children
There is no convenient public transport. There is Plenty of parking available. Transport from airports is usually via train to Haverfordwest or Fishguard and a taxi to the farmhouse
