The condo is literally just over the road from the creekside gondola and base. The place was clean and just as described. Thanks for letting your home to us.
Perfect location right next to Creekside gondola, really well equipped (you could cook for 4 every night if you wanted to), spotlessly clean and toasty warm with a gas fire for effect as well.Spot on communication with the agent, easy to find, good under cover parking, local buses just outside the front door and Creekside Market (highly recommended) less than 5 mins walk across the road. All in all a perfect way to see / ski Whistler - much homelier and way more cost effective than a hotel
This is an incredible property. So nice we decided we wanted to live in it!! It has everything you need and more. It is on a split level but you are able to access the above through the elevator if required. We will be back for sure. The communication was excellent when required and the booking process so easy. You will not be disappointed if you book here.

Great location for the perfect condo.
Pros:
I searched and searched for the perfect accommodation for our Christmas vacation (Mum, Dad, son – 20 and daughter – 17) and this certainly turned out to be it. The owner’s description is spot on and the photos show exactly what the condo is like. All of my queries were responded to in a very friendly and helpful manner.
It is the ideal base for those who have come to Whistler to ski, ski, ski. There is a room at the bottom of the block for storing skis (you need to buy a ski lock for CAD 25, so that was CAD 100 for the 4 of us!). You put your boots on in the condo, take the lift to the ground floor, collect your skis, walk across the road to the Creekside gondola and you are away (for 7 hours solid skiing per day if you are anything like my son).
Creekside is away from the hustle and bustle of Whistler but still offers everything you need with the added advantage of a lift to take you up into the system that has MUCH shorter queues than Whistler itself.
The grocery store is comprehensively stocked and there are numerous restaurants within walking distance. The ski rental shop is directly opposite the condo and buses run every 12 minutes into Whistler should you want to explore further.
Our refundable deposit was back in my account very promptly.
Cons:
There were no coat hangers in the condo. Even just a few would be nice.
There is no welcome pack. I would have appreciated something giving the hours the shops are open, the restaurants that are nearby, bus fares, instructions on how to work any equipment (I initially struggled with the oven as it is very different to those in the UK), where to buy the ski locks, etc.
The check in information promised two entry keys and a parking permit. We arrived to one key and no parking permit. Happily, following an email to the owners, this was sorted within the hour.
But I must stress that these are little quibbles. We all agreed that the condo and it's location were wonderful and we would have no hesitation in recommending it.
Lake Placid is a great Creekside property and this unit is very nicely furnished and in excellent condition. The unit is exactly as described and made our stay very comfortable and convenient. We were 2 adults using both bedrooms but the 2nd bedroom has two beds so different options and numbers of guests can be easily accomodated too. Unlike other similar places we have stayed, the unit came with a great selection of towels and dishes - items often deficient in rentals.
This place was listed as: "Ski In, Ski Out, 80 Steps To The Lift." That is patently untrue. VRBO should not allow it to be listed that way. It's far more than 80 steps, and what's more, there is a long stairwell with 32 steps split up into 4 sections of 8 steps each with three landings in between that you must climb up to get to the lift and climb down to get back to the condo. That is nothing like "ski-in, ski-out." 80 Steps barely got me onto the stairwell, and that is only half-way to the lift. The title of the listing was false advertising. The place itself was very nice. Note that 1 bathrooms means there is one bathroom with a shower/tub. The other has only a toilet and sink. It can technically sleep six, but that's if you don't mind waiting in line for five others to go through the shower. Everything in the place worked well. Fridge has an icemaker and filtered water dispenser that both worked well. There's a large washer and dryer with detergent (but not dryer sheets) provided and they worked well too. Kitchen is supplied with all the dishes and utensils we needed. There are good bath towels and also large towels for using at the hot tub. The hot tub and pool are very nice. The underground parking garage is a big benefit that we really appreciated, and there are luggage carts available to transport your things to and from the car in the basement garage. The TV does not have terrestrial or cable channels and login for U.S. subscriptions did not work.
Close to gondola. Secure ski closet on first floor. Good hot tub. Kitchen satisfactorily equipped. Comfortably beds. TVs in each room. Owner highly responsive.
Condo was clean great size. We paid a premium for ski in/out thinking we were near the village. This was our first time in Whistler. This is a walk across the street to the Whistler gondola. The village at creekside is quiet and there are a few bars and diners. You are not near Blackcomb or the main village. I only say this because I did not understand the difference renting. This can be the right condo for many people. It just wasn’t the right condo for my family. The main village/ hospital are a good 15 minute drive up the road and then you have to park etc. my daughter fractured her wrist day 2 of the trip. It was a boring experience from there on for her. Not much to do or see in Creekside. I also feel I paid too much. We had choices that were less to rent in the main village but liked the reviews and look of tthis place.
Great place with lots of space, steps from gondola. Clean and well-furnished. The parking garage is unfortunately very undersized but that is no fault of the current management - thank goodness for backup cameras!!!!!
This was our first stay at Creekside, and we enjoyed it a lot, it was comparable to staying at Blackcomb or Whistler side and more enjoyable in someways. Creekside Village is superior in our opinion, without the craziness or loudness. We stayed as a family of five, enjoyed proximity to the gondola, ate both and restaurants and cooked. Only surprises were that there was no shampoo or soap, but that was easily purchased at the close by Village store. It’s not truly ski and ski out since you have to walk across the street up to the gondola but it’s a very close distance and was not a problem for us. very comfortable home, it was great.
I can’t say enough good things for our family of four during our weeklong stay at Lake Placid, number 320.
The unit is literally steps away from the gondola at Creekside. Because it was so close, I was able to ski every day with ease.
In our little family, we have a 4 and 7-year-old. This unit and location was excellent. The bedrooms are upstairs, and kitchen and living room downstairs, it was very quiet, which allowed our kids to sleep, while we are awake in the evening.
The kitchen was well supplied with cookware, and some basic spices, which were appreciated.
The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The pools temperature was warm enough to swim, and both of our children loved the pool very much. The hot tub was spacious, and never crowded.
As for local amenities, there is a grocery store immediately across the street, ski rentals within 25 m, (rent online in advance for a better deal) we really enjoyed the Creekside shops, and we did not find it difficult to get to the central area of Whistler.
Lastly the unit and public spaces were both extraordinarily clean, and tremendously quiet. This was the perfect place for a quiet, weeklong retreat for our family in Whistler! We would recommend to anyone, and we hope to come back again soon!
We had a great time in the apartment. Everything was provided. The Hot Tub and the Swimmingpool are great. In the apartment we found all the things we needed. It was cozy and clean.

Disliked: Check-in, communication
Will return if we can...
While we had a couple hick-ups with the initial check-in process, the manager and the owners were great when we were able to connect. They checked in on us, and quickly took care of a minor repair during our stay. Would love to stay here again!
Cannot beat location if you prefer the calm of Creekside over Whistler Village!
Exactly what we needed - we wanted the option to drive (10 minutes) into Whistler Village if we wanted to excitement and rest in Creekside. Cannot beat location, 100 or less steps to Creekside Gondo which you can explore the entire mnt from. Garage is beyond tight parking but thats the nature of ski resorts + giant SUV's.
The location is one of the highlights of this property. Very short walk to the Creekside Gondola at Whistler and to a number of nice places to eat or shop. The kitchen is small though very nicely equipped and the appliances function well. The 2 bedrooms upstairs have comfortable beds and bedding. We enjoyed the hot tub as well.

Good location for ski in ski out. No shower soap and shampoo provided.
Some products in the kitchen would be helpful like Saran Wrap, tinfoil, spices, etc. For the price there should be more good necessary products for cooking and barbecuing.
Very nice condo and location, but some Lake Placid property amenities issues
Family stay over Xmas for 8 nights. Very nice and clean condo (duplex), all items in the condo provided and working as advertised. Very comfortable beds. Location fantastic, ski storage full but convenient and workable, garage, condo and property access no issues. Lake Placid property itself, issues with locked sauna, not working hot tub, some days pool too cold and unusable despite being heated and locked change rooms/bathrooms at the hot tub, both sauna and change rooms were working but someone from the property management just locked them up, no reason given, no sign posted. We have escalated these issues up to the condo owner and property manager, throughout the stay ongoing issue with one or the other finally fully resolved on our last day when everything was working as it should. However communication with all parties positive and paying attention in resolving the property amenities issues. Also the Creekside gondola was put in service only on Dec 22 and we didn't know it was out-of-service until that day, luckily it worked out when we started to ski. This should be always communicated and disclosed by the rented property as that would impact person's decision making process if the case of gondola being out-of-service, moving to Whistler or Blackcomb village instead. Convenience and communication matters paying premiums for amenities/location. Thank you
