Exquisite Luxury: Oceanview Penthouse Villa

Beautiful second home of kama'aina family right next to Mauna Lani's white sand beaches with access to a pool, spa, and grill area that face the ocean. This one bedroom penthouse villa, K302, provides utmost privacy and beauty with spectacular pond, ocean, and sunset views.

This third floor corner unit is in Building K and away from the other buildings, the pool area, and the adjacent hotel; making it extremely quiet, tranquil, and peaceful. It overlooks historic royal fishponds that will remind you of old Hawaii. You can see the ocean over the ponds and the beach is just steps away. Snorkeling here is regarded as some of the best on the Island with live coral, colorful reef fish, and protected green sea turtles.

The exquisitely appointed villa is 1,150 sq. ft. with an additional 330 sq. ft. lanai that opens to both the Living Room and the Bed Room. You can enjoy ocean breezes, watch fish jump in the ponds, and see amazing sunsets. The unit is very spacious with a 24' vaulted ceiling, floor to ceiling mahogany shutters, and is carpeted throughout. It comes with a king bed, two luxurious bathrooms, and a lovely kitchen that gets the morning sun.

Mauna Lani Terrace condos are next door to the Auberge Hotel which is often rated as the best resort on the Big Island. Guests can just walk to the hotel's conveniences; to the homeowner's beach; and to the highly rated Napua restaurant. In addition, there are several shops, restaurants, and a Foodland grocery store nearby. The 5-star resort also has two famous 18-hole golf courses, historic hiking trails, and a world class Fitness Club with tennis, pickleball, lap pool, spa, and gym facilities.

The villa is available for two adults provided they do not need to quarantine. Minimum stay is 5 nights and there are no additional fees for cleaning or other surprise charges. The unit is accessed by outside stairs, is strictly non-smoking, and no children or pets are allowed. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to recover any non-refundable cancellation charges.

Please check with the owners on availability as the calendar may not be up-to-date and we can sometimes release dates that we may have blocked for our use. We live on the island, are happy to answer questions, and do not accept booking dates that are more than a year away.

The best part of the condominium was the stunning view over the fish ponds to the ocean. The unit was quiet, and close to the beach club. Surinder was responsive. We had a wonderful peaceful stay. My husband also liked how close we were to the golf course, he could walk over and hit balls.

Attention to detail for comfortable stay was perfect!

The one bdrm, 2 bath condo had a fully stocked kitchen and everything you need to feel at home. Bed and bedding were comfortable, furniture indoor and out were very nice, laundry was handy, and other furnishings were pristine. The property overlooked a beautiful fish pond with ocean view in site. A short stroll to either Mauni Lani resort or the beach was convenient. Would love to return!

Anniversary Paradise

Our first trip to Hawaii and we found this to be the perfect place to stay. The setting is beautiful and tranquil, with what we thought to be the best view in the complex overlooking the fish ponds. About a pleasant 10 minute walk to a nice beach with pretty good snorkeling and a nice restaurant we visited twice.

Relaxing high-end condo

Surinder's condo was perfect for our honeymoon. The welcome packet gave clear instructions for how to check in and out, the property was clean, quiet, and safe, and there are lots of great amenities right on the resort. We especially loved snorkeling right off Mauna Lani beach.

Beautiful Condo!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our nine night stay at this gorgeous condo. Sitting out on the lanai, listening to the birds and the occasional concert on the beach, made for a very relaxing vacation. It was our first time on the Big Island and we were very impressed with the resort and all the fun things to do on the island. We are hoping to return some day!

The condo was immaculate and the setting was amazing. Extremely peaceful and great views of the fish ponds and the ocean in the distance. The unit was very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed watching the sunset for the ocean front chaise lounges that are available to Mauna Lani Terraces residents & guests. The pool are was great as well.

An impeccable property with beautifully appointed interiors, lovely views and a peaceful, tranquil setting. The host was great to work with and always available. New Year at Mauna Lani Resort

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable 12 days at Mauna Lani Resort starting just before New Year. The unit is very well appointed and has a to-die-for view over the fish ponds and a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. The unit is very comfortable and quiet especially at night which we very much appreciated. Having stayed at Mauna Lani a number of times I can say that this is one of the nicest units and the owner was very easy and accommodating to deal with.

Beautiful and Peaceful Mauna Lani Terrace Condo

Spent a wonderful week in this beautiful penthouse condo while attending a wedding and related festivities at the Mauna Lani resort. Perfect location overlooking tranquil fishponds with ocean views from the lanai. Conveniently located close to all of the Mauna Lani amenities, yet very private and quiet. Host Surinder was very helpful in suggesting walking trails, restaurants and other island activities. Housekeeper Kathy welcomed me with a lovely note, delicious pineapple, as well as a spotless and comfortably cool condo. Highly recommend!

This property is gorgeous, inside and outside. The owner is fabulous. He wrote us a few times during our stay to point out local things that were going on and to make sure everything was going good. Surinder called us to help us understand the T.V. They even left us a fresh pineapple and coffee! It was awesome!

Idyllic!

It is beautifully furnished, is in a totally peaceful and relaxing location yet close to stores and restaurants, has an extraordinarily well equipped kitchen, and a wonderful view. We moved to the Big Island from Berkeley in 2011. Our son graduated from high school here, my wife is a psychologist, and I have retired after a career in Silicon Valley. I am currently on the board of Mauna Lani Resort's Architecture Committee and we simply love living on island.

Why they chose this property

We live here in Waimea and looked for an oceanfront villa for several years until we found this unit. We have updated some of the furnishings, use it as a second home, and prefer renting it to friends. It is a one bedroom unit that is suitable for only two adults.

What makes this property unique

This is a private home that is exquisitely furnished with artwork, is located in a luxurious eco-resort, and has access to ocean activities. It overlooks 800 year old royal fishponds and recalls a tranquil Hawaiian past which is being lost to development. You also benefit by dealing directly with the owner instead of a third-party property management company.
