Beautiful property and location

I'm not sure there is a better view in this area. It's truly amazing. We had a great time, and most of all the family who came really loved the place. Pay attention to the directions on how to get there as most GPS won't locate it perfectly. Great kitchen and sitting area where everyone can see each other and hang out. Well stocked with essentials and very easy to settle in.

It was our first time at arrowhead, it was easy to find with owners instructions. Beautiful property plenty of parking, she was very accommodating. Yes property is dated but you can tell it’s cared for. No musky “not used” smell which was such a pleasant surprise, clean. Plenty of room to sleep, gorgeous view. Great AC up and down stairs. Had the necessities. Would definitely stay here again.

Patty’s place was amazing! The house is gorgeous and has everything we needed and more. The house is huge and has plenty of room for a big family gathering. The views of the lake are definitely the highlight and breathtaking! The house is well equipped with everything needed to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Our family age group was from 7 to 50 and there was something to do for each one of us. Once again thank you so much Patty for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Lake arrowhead cabin

Wonderful view and newly renovated deck. Fun place with pool table, ping pong, lots of room for large groups. A bit dated and in need of some repairs. Property owner returned messages promptly, but unfortunately were unable to find someone to come to the cabin to fix a chirping smoke detector in a locked room for the 4 days we were there.

Beautiful View

In need of LOTS of work in many areas! Kitchen pots & pans were filthy dirty, but there were plenty of them. Built in ovens were real small, about apartment size. No wash cloths in bathrooms. Garage was major dumping area for stuff that should be hauled to dump. Window blinds were bent and damaged and were missing wands to open and close. Exterior in major need of wood work, painting and screens. Kitchen window was falling out. Other than that things were fine. Real disappointed considering the price we paid!

Great place for meetings

We conduct to the men’s group meeting at this property and found it to be very possible and easy to live in. The main living space and the deck were perfect for discussions cocktail hours, and hors d’oeuvres. Had a beautiful view of the lake and sunrises and sunsets.

Lake Arrowhead Getaway

We had a great time at Patty's Lake Arrowhead cabin. It was everything the pictures and write up said it was. Patty was quick to respond to any questions I had. The views from the deck were spectacular. The pink clouds over the horizon this morning at sunrise this morning amazing. It was a wonderful place for four generations to gather and celebrate my father-in-law's 90th birthday.

Killer View

The house has a killer view HOWEVER it’s really a pain to get to. I can’t even imagine what it’s like getting there in the winter! The deck is being redone but wasn’t totally finished when we were there. Which is a total bummer and a bit of a hazard. There were loose screws on the ground and metal shards that my husband stepped on. The new deck is going to be amazing and the parts that were done look great. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that it wasn’t done not just the day of arrival. The house is great for big families or a group of friends. We really enjoyed ourselves and would come again.

Family Reunion

Accommodating house allowed for separation if needed as well as large communal spaces and deck. It feels like someone’s summer home not antiseptic like a time share or hotel. Host was easy to communicate with and pointed me to a tool kit when someone accidentally locked a bathroom door with no one inside. They should probably get a different brand of lockset. There were some video game consoles that didn’t work but plenty of games , puzzles, and tv available. We were well pleased.

My husband and I grew up in Southern California. We have 4 wonderful kids and enjoy traveling and experiencing the world together.

Why they chose this property

We've always loved Lake Arrowhead for its natural beauty and proximity...making us feel like we're in a whole different world than the usually suburban hustle and bustle, yet only an hour or two away. When we found this home, it was run down and in need of much care, but we knew we could turn it into a getaway our family would enjoy for years. So we completely remodeled the home, upgrading and adding improvements that would make our stays enjoyable for our entire family. We upgraded everything...trying to modernize the cabin, yet maintain a natural rustic feel, to match the area. Our goal was to make our cabin home as functional and comfortable as our main home, yet unique enough to feel you've escaped the norm...and we made sure we had enough activities, games, and options for everyone to enjoy their time together. As our kids grew and our ability to enjoy our Lake Arrowhead cabin became less frequent, we decided to open up our home to others, so they can make similar memories with their friends and families. We hope you enjoy our cabin home as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

Our cabin home is at the end of a private road, with a gated driveway, so there are no neighbors past our home...the street ends at our gate. This makes our home extremely private and safe, where kids and adults can play in the driveway and cars can be parked, all inside the gated property. Our home is designed in such a way where just about every room in the house has a gorgeous view of Lake Arrowhead, providing for a very surreal, natural feeling. Finally, our home has so many activities, living/game rooms, and open space...it's difficult to get bored, no matter your age.
