The space
We designed and built this home with family in mind. Five bedrooms, one en suite. Four rooms with double beds, one with twin or Three double and two twin. There is a gas barbecue, Weber and Smeg stove as well as two refrigerators and a deep freeze. A separate area for pantry and dishwasher. Large covered deck for entertaining and small garden.
The neighbourhood
Bushmans is a unique coastal village where the general dealer, post office, deli, river and beach are all within close walking distance. On the square deli provides excellent fresh meals which comes in handy when you've had a day on the beach and just want to relax on the deck with a glass of wine and not bother to cook. Varied and various other activities such as game viewing and golf are also within 30km, or twenty minutes drive.
Getting around
Secure parking for three cars is available as well as off street parking.
Other things to note
Boesmansriviermond or Bushmans River Mouth, situated in the Eastern Cape along the R72 Sunshine Coast Tourist Route, between Port Elizabeth and East London. The nearest airport is in Port Elizabeth with regular flights to and from the major cities of South Africa. Kenton on Sea is 5 minutes away, Port Alfred 15 minutes from Port Alfred the settler city of Grahamstown, home to Rhodes University and where the infamous National Arts festival is held is only half an hour away. Another interesting visit is a wonderful pub, the Pig and Whistle in the old town of Bathurst on the outskirts of Port Alfred.
